  • I spent two days Building a Fence with Pros in this first-ever DadBuilt DIY pro ride-along.
You don't want to miss this one!
I joined Nate & Cam LaVasseur of Vasseur Fencing on a job where we built a 6-foot vinyl privacy fence. They showed me the ins and outs of their craft and shared valuable tips for both DIY and Professionals alike.

Outstanding looking fence! I do have a question and I know a lot of different things play into this but what was the total build cost for this?

Thank you for the kind words. For everything, it was at 16K (12K materials, 4K labor). I know there would be cheaper quotes out there, but as I learned from Nate and Cam, a lot of time those cheaper quotes come with corners getting cut.
As with so much these days, the costs makes your eyeballs pop - but I do know that the neighbor was quoted 14K for an aluminum fence for roughly the same size yard. And I would think of a vinyl privacy fence as a much higher quality product.
I appreciate you watching and commenting!
