It was created by bankers for bankers, and private bankers sit on its board. I could go on and on about the Fed, but just realize that the power they hold is not used for the benefit of the people. For me, interest rates should be linked to the markets and if companies fail, they alone fail without bailouts. Our money should be backed by gold or some other precious metal or commodity, and not merely by a promise from the government. The Fed's digital coin should be decentralized, not centralized and controlled by the Fed and the government. But, that will not happen because the government will not give up control even in the best interest of the people. So, don't be so hard on the hackers, the government deserves it.
