Yes, (For a Mac) you press Command + 2 to select the trim tool if you don't already have it selected. You can then press command + 2 to cycle thru the different trim modes including TCE trim tool.
Your great video popped up on my feed and I wanted to ask if you also have short-cuts for podcasters? I left Audacity because my Waves ClarityVX plug-in did not work so now I'm in the paid version of Pro Tools and it looks very daunting once your in the start screen. Thanks!

When we record a song, then in the control room we can hear which option we have to suck. But if it is the singer who has to choose the right take , how do we give them hp feedback? Hello, my A-Z is selected and my recording track is selected but when I press ( Shift + "R" ) it won't arm the track for recording. Can anyone help me out?
Which “a-z” is selected? There are 3 categories hat can be selected. The one I always use is located at the top right corner of the edit window. Make sure you are not selecting the one at the top right corner or the clips window.
It’s a common issue with ProTools and windows. ProTools was originally created only for Mac back in the 90’s so some of the key commands don’t work. I actually used to be on PC before I switched and was using the shortcuts with no problem. Do some research to find the commands for windows and I guarantee these shortcuts will speed up your workflow.
Why not just have Pre-Created Empty Audio tracks and you can Pull down and place all those takes in those tracks rather thn Duplicating each time ? All the Videos I’m seeing are wasting so much time by doing Duplicating or By pressing R and I on every track after one take or whatever. And No one Using Inactive Tracks Feature just so They can Put Bad Takes there or Takes which gotten Mistakes in them.
It’s the way I like to work. Having tracks pre created is another way to work. Also ProTools has a track count that if exceeded will prevent you from creating more tracks.

I noticed that you didn't use the PLAYLIST on the channels instead the way it was done. Is that a better way to take vocal takes or not?
You’re correct, I decided not to use playlists to make it easier to understand. Playlist is the best way to comp recordings IMO.
