- Scored this 1997 Tamiya kit a few years ago, needed to put it together finally. Such a unique suspension design! Got some plans for a cool JDM build with it so stay tuned for part 2!

I like the Scorpion wheel idea
Some of the Axial Wraith Spawns came with Ripsaw tires plastic beadlock rims that had no cut out for a hex. It was just notched to go staright on the pin. So i wasnt surprised when u offered up that idea👍super cool ride and video. Cant wait to see the body back and finished

Love them! U should paint it a 90's two-tone! Pearl white top, and champagne gold bottom, that would look really cool on it i think!
Oh, and yes, those white wheel are made by Sweep, i bought a set of those in limited bronze-gold just the other day, haha!

Like the wheels on this.Sweep tires are pretty good tires. Some stance is good. Bless Tamiya's heart (now I can say whatever I want) Plastic bushings and those body posts. Remember those black&white movies of Frankenstein? Got those big bolts in his neck?

i struggle getting in to tamiyas..... the feel like working on a wal mart rc car with the shiny plastic and phillips head screws

Loved my TL01s had several last one was a TL01B 2200kv 4 pole brushless speed gearbox set and Hobbywing 80a esc and it did standing backflips on 2s it just wasn't strong enough for all that power but was damned huge full till it fell apart though!

Nice, I got one too but I pieced it together from the body separate to the chassis. Mine runs an M06 Pro chassis.

M, class is super-fun, scale looks and driving, that bodyshell, is supercool, too bad what color to paint, stressful, got an old Honda, with the mono-shock I got for a deal, have not driving yet
