Ambient Box (quiet sounds) tiny set-up explanation

- Noise box with tiny synths inside:
Gecho V2 (as master sound engine) Gecho V1 (additional sound treatment patch22 here) PO 33 - Bastl Kastl - Patchblock midiblock as midi controller for the Gecho V2 (patch34 here). The midiblock gear contains sine drone and filter to, it can be plugged by external gear to use the filter. The mixers are Little Bear MC5 Mini.
My aim here was to have some portable set-up with opened possibilities and making improvisation according to my mood.
Also playing with live instrument mixed with the electronic gear.
I use the stereo mics of both Gecholoopsynth if i want.
The patch 34 of the Gecho V2 is my favorite, the out sound is very clear, with beautiful reverb. But you have to use a midi controller to reset the default value of the pitch shifter and then, you will have just the reverb with pure sound.
You can use also external speaker without too much feedback and it is interesting to play with acoustic instruments without headphone.
With the midi controller you can manage reverb+delay+pitch shifter+stereo spread and slicer. It contains also a sort of granular sampler (very short by the way, you can hold 1 second of sound and trim it, but it's interesting). Using midi control extends a lot the possibilities !
For this first video, I showed just basic stuff in an ambient way but we can make some music in a different way, using PO33 sampler or the Gecho V1 sampler for exemple and have some standard electro-stuff.
I know all is old gear now, but it was interesting to me to take more time to manage it perfectly to my sound and playing mode desires.

I've been listening several times, always, I have the feeling of being 10,000 years ago in the Lascaux cave or the Chauvet cave. It's mystical and calming.
Really nice comment !! Thank's a lot ! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is sooo cool! I love that everything is portable!! Old gear is fine if it still works and you make it all work!!!
Thank's a lot! I needed some time to think how it can work in my "sound-way" 😉
Very nice ambience. And great to see the Patchblocks still get some appreciation in 2023!! Thumbs up!
Thank's !! Yes! Patchblock's midiblock is very useful here as a very tiny midi controller (and I was a bit proud to write the patch to do that ^^ , yeah...it wasn't complicated so much, but it was nice to succeed ^^.......) When I bought Patchblocks I watched a lot your videos and it was very useful to. Always great Ideas! Have an happy 2024 and it starts with Jamuary, and maybe your videos!!!!!😉
Lovely. I'm always amazed at how beautiful atonal sounds can be.
You're Right! (Electronic stuff and huuugeee reverb help a bit ^^)

THX !!!
Very cool. Do you have videos detailing how you put this together?
Thank's! Unfortunately not! But It's quite simple. The only trick is the split cable out of the PO33: one signal goes to the second sound engine (Gecho V1) and another without Gecho V1 treatment. The left mixer permits to balance between the two input signals, and then it goes to the master sound engine (Gecho V2). The right mixer receives the sine wave drone of the patchblock and another stuff like the Kastle, and it goes to the PO 33...
Please what is the soind at 6'32. I don't get what are those 2 hanging rings ? Very nice sounds !!
Oh they just hit the métal bar on the right. Very ingenious
Definitely missing a slow but deep beat tho

Sweet setup. Too bad the player has such bad taste
(I tell him every day!!!)
@@dooo8591 I find StanleyKubick1's comment inappropriate, unnecessary and even insulting! But this is the cruel rule of comments where tolerance is non-existent. I love what you offer! Well done and thank you
