I've tried to adventure off from CK and it has been pretty hard. I always just come back. But the one that actually had me for a bit was Europa 4. Suggest you give it a shot if you haven't. In many ways, it seems way more complex, and at the same time more intuitive. It's a shame I don't think they have an interactive room though haha.
I know that people absolutely LOVE EU4. I’ll definitely have to give that a try! I really enjoy Stellaris, though I don’t play very often. I think hoi4 is pretty insane and super cool - I just new I would be trash at it the first time and thought being a noob president would be mildly entertaining haha

I promise that it literally never entered my brain to ever station anyone where I knew we would be attacked. I had the hindsight of 80+ years in the future AND I WAS TOO WORRIED ABOUT THE ECONOMY AND STUFF!!!! I have brought shame to the DaFloove dynasty and I deserve to be punished!
I bought HOI4 when it first came out. I have every DLC. Steam says I have over 1300 hours of playtime. I still don't know what the hell I'm doing. My current playthrough as Iceland is going pretty well though.
Also, if the US just had 10 guys in Hawaii, everything could have been avoided. That's what happens when you overly crowd a place, they can't navigate well.
As a CK3 player, I have zero idea about anything in this game hahaha. I need to get back into it though. Paradox games just take forever to get the fundamentals/understand the ui.

Definitely got frustrated at some points, but I stopped after a few days did some soul searching (found the template thing on the internet), and gave it my best shot! I think it’s a suuuuper cool strategy game and I meant to include that at the end of the video. Hell yeah! We primarily play CK3 in the discord, but a lot of people are into others like Victoria, Stellaris, Ho Iron 4, and EU4. If you wanna join feel free. Vic3 I understood way quicker than hoi4! I think economy was easier to get down than a bunch of UI stuff I was clueless on. Like anything, it just takes time and practice - round 2 would probably still be bad, but less bad!
