It was really a react for Cat (girl). The guy (Chicken) has already seen it, so he wanted to let her do most of the reacting. He's seen most of Rammstein's videos - they're one of his top 3 favorite bands and one of his tattoos is a Rammstein homage.
You are right that they care about the audience - there are a film from one of there live shows were a burning prop falls down over the crowd in the front row. Till jumps down from the stage and lift it away with his hands, burning himself. I think it was after that accident that they decided to license themself in order to take care of the pyro themselves.
That doesn't surprise us at all. They seem like dudes who are not only passionate about their art, but passionate about the community where they present that art. Many non-fans likely tend to look at their subject matter or aesthetic and write them off as "evil" or some other negative thing and have a difficult time separating artist from art, but from what I've seen and heard about them/from them, they're total class acts.

Rammstein. the name of the band is of the Unitest States of America Air Base in Ramstein in South Germany. Their first Song was about an accident on ramstein airbase on a flightshow in the year 1994/1995 where people died. !!!
Till and Richard were basket wevers in east berlun before the wall came down.. Actually ALL THE MEMBERS CAME FROM THE EAST SIDE OF THE WALL.
So we've heard! What a cool skill to have. They should sell some Rammstein baskets as part of their merch, if they haven't already. Marketing opportunity right there!
do not be disheartened by the dislikes. there is nothing wrong with your reaction. lots of people just get turned of by the reduced sound. it was still enough to hear everything perfectly fine^^

I can kinda get what people are saying - if I'm blasting "Benzin" or "Ich tu dir weh" in my car, I'm cranking the volume up. I love to listen to my metal loud, that's for sure.
However, I don't think people fully realize measures TH-camrs who react need to take to avoid copyright strikes and getting the rest of their channel demonitized either. Can't please everyone, I guess, but we are glad that we still have more than twice the amount of likes as dislikes (our Britney Spears video had like 90 likes to 4 dislikes, which we were floored by since that sound was way more jacked up and it was our first time doing it). We are new and just trying to grow our community and eventually gain monetization as a whole.

Thanks! Idk when the next time we will have time to react together will be - we have a young baby at home now and Cat works a lot. The channel has gotten back to its roots a bit with pretty much exclusively gaming. But maybe we can find time in the future. It was a fun activity for us to do together. I just know Cat is a bit burnt out.

"I couldn't tell if he was attractive or not" me for the first few months of getting into the band 😭. I've since developed the hugest crush on the guy. He's literally old enough to be my dad though 😭🤦♀️.

Till is actually very shy. Flake did the treadmill becausevhe was bored justvstanding there. Till is actually handsome and the guy on fire is. Someone hired to do that. I had the same uncertian attraction to Till but in the end he ended up being the sexiest dude to me ever.
"I was bored" sounds like the most Rammstein reason ever for performing on a treadmill. Lolol
I think the phrase we used for Till was "animal magnetism." His deep voice, buffness and rugged features (along with all of the fire and metal music) seem to give that primal quality to him that many find attractive. I'm sure not many know of the sweeter, softer (and as you said, a bit shyer) sides to him, though. At least not until you watch interviews and read up on him.

😜 this band is my favorite fir a reason. They impress. They do it in a strange yet captivating way. They actually made me want to learn German. I have been practicing on my own now for over a year. Im even teaching my young children... Its pretty cool how somthing like a band can expand a persons mind if it really sparks their interest.
Also, I'll give you a bit of a spoiler/teaser, assuming you're subbed to us already, you should be seeing more of us reacting to your fav band within the next couple of weeks. :)
Yes Flaka has a lot of energy and back then he would walk around the stage and well with all the 🔥 fire and stuff it wasn't safe for him to do that so they came up with the treadmill that way he could still walk but do so safely
Till is not sexist at all despite some of what you've seen or heard...ive never ever seen or heard of anyone accusing him of that..in fact he actually defended a young lady he was i believe dating? He was in a hotel with his girlfriend and another approached them and said I'll pay you double of what he's giving you..insinuating that she was a prostitute. Till then demanded he apologize but the man in question clenched his suggesting that he was getting ready to punch Till and told Till to walk towards the door instead Till elbowed him in the face leaving him with a bloody nose.
A former girlfriend of Till Lindemann(not the young lady that the other man insulted by implying she was a prostitute) told reporters "Till is the most polite person I know. I have no idea what happened to upset him. But if he snapped, his reaction was justified."
You should react to a live video from 2019, the Stage setup was insane (Sonne or Rammstein would be good to see from those concert's)

I believe Cat may have misspoke on the "ban" comment - was referring to the 1999 Family Values tour show in the US where Till and Flake got arrested during a performance of Buch Dich. They weren't banned, per se, (even though they were arrested and weren't citizens at the time) but I think the band was averse to performing in the US for a bit after. Like you said, they have since come around and do occasionally tour the US outside of COVID times - although the dates/events tend to be pretty limited, from what I can tell.

Indirectly, basket weaving is the reason that Till became the lead singer of Rammstein. While Till was sitting in his workshop, he listened to the radio a lot and because the songs kept repeating, he started singing along. When Richard came to visit, he heard Till and thought he should be the lead singer of Rammstein.
I remember having heard that! Such a unique way for a band to have formed. But, I guess when the stars align like that why wouldn't you go on to form such a sensational band? Right? Lol
They had a US 2020 tour that got postponed obviously. There are some videos taken by audience members from Moscow 2019 that show some epic stages and pyrotechnics.
Interesting you bring both of those things up!
Another commenter here mentioned they were going to attend the Chicago show when touring resumes, and a different commenter brought up how nuts the Sonne setup was for a 2019 show - perhaps that was the show they were referring to.

Why the sound is soo quiet and barely audible... but your voices are extremly louder ?
Because we don't have a studio or the money for something like an audio mixer or a stream deck and if we want to say something while the music is playing we wanted to be sure we could be heard. The reaction needs to be centered in these kinds of videos if you want to avoid a copyright strike, and we didn't want to pause even more than we already do or hold our comments for when we do pause - our reactions are more verbal than facial expression based.

Got it. I can turn down the voices some if it's that drastically different. The warranty on my old mic came through as well and it's not that kind, so it's a bit better and I don't need to turn it up as much as the one in the vid. Nonetheless, thanks for the feedback. We will need to try to take advantage of the upgrade and mix better.

You might be interested to be reacting to a Nightwish song. Most reactors start with Ghost Love Score which is the perfect song that shows off what Nightwish is about. They are great live and have are really epic sound. This is the most reacted song on youTube and most people like it!

We've been away dealing with cat's pregnancy and the birth of our first child. She hasn't really felt up to it, and I tried doing some alone but it just didn't feel the same.
You watched the wrong stage version. There is another stsge performance WAY Better then what u just saw.
We will have to look into it for our own viewing pleasure. Do you happen to know the details? Wouldn't want to pick the "tame" one again.

No worries, and thanks for the well wishes. Everyone is doing okay for now, at least. Just couldn't risk it. Technically Cat is also considered high-risk right now too (it's related to why our next video is just me; maybe we'll share more about that later, maybe not -- but she's safe and well overall), but maybe some time when this all passes we will be able to see some live music again!

In America we equate that with gasoline (gas for short), since that is one of the main things we use it for. I don't think we tried to translate anything else...

Volume definetely to low couldnt enjoy the music. You must change this... And if you wanna talk... then Pause the Video. Please don't talk over the music . It's absolutely annoying.
We have heard a few comments about turning the volume even more (The intro was really quiet in general, but I had my phone volume halfway up and it came in crystal clear during the rest of the video, but if it's an issue we can turn it up a bit more; we wanted to be sure our comments could be heard over the music if possible since this is a react channel and original commentary prevents copyright strikes).
We don't want to pause the video a thousand times every time we have a comment or have to hold everything we are thinking in until a pause. That would be more of a review than a reaction. Again, we don't exactly have a budget for an audio mixer or stream deck like a larger channel might where we can turn volume up and down at will, so until we can grow to the point of monetization where we can allot budget to that, we will just need to find the right volume balance (this is only our third react video, so growing pains are to be expected). We were trying to take other commenters advice about not trying to pause as much, but we still had to pause enough to not get a copyright strike while also getting enough of our personalities and commentary in to keep things original enough to make that happen.
I hope that makes sense and perhaps you'll understand where we have to come from in order to make these videos, which is hard on a small budget channel.
