Depending on the brand both chunky and bulky can be either a weight 5 or a weight 6 yarn. It’s best go by the actual weight rating of yarn. Typically that can be found on the label along with the suggested gauge and hook size.
This is really cute but by any chance do you have a pattern or tutorial using a baby yarn rather than a worsted? Thank you for not making a bulky weight which is not suitable for newborns
I made this, it’s beautiful. Thank you for the clear instructions throughout this tutorial. You are a good teacher.
Thank you ❤️🧶

Is 1 skein enough for the body? Great tutorial!
For the size in the video I skein of Premier Puzzle yarn is needed to make this project.
Morning; I love the way you do your videos!
Question? Can this pattern be done in dc also?
It's a wonderful pattern!..thank you!
If you choose to work the pattern in dc you will have to adjust the number of rounds so the size of the bunting isn’t too large.
Does this pattern have the opening for car seat buckle
No it does not have the hole for the car seat buckle.
What is the difference between chunky yarn and bulky yarn?

I do not have a bunting pattern with baby yarn but o do have romper that is made with baby yarn.
Just curious what is your reason for saying bulky weight yarn is not suitable for newborns?
Hi how big roughly should this be at round 12 thanks
The gauge for this project is 3 sc = 1 inch, 3 sc rows = 1 inch. By round 12 the circumference should be at 22 inches.
Entire 200 gms got used?
I had a small amount of the main color left over but not much. If you want to make the bunting larger you will need more yarn.
Is there a written pattern? TIA!!
Yes
