I just watched your Spain vlog covering Madrid, Malaga, and Barcelona. What were some of the standout moments from each city, and did you have any unexpected experiences or discoveries while traveling through Spain?

Hi! Thanks for watching the video! So Barcelona was my first city in Spain I ever visited which was about 7ish years ago & remember loving it. This time Barcelona didn’t have the same appeal to me, I can’t pinpoint what it was. It was just a general feeling. The Sagrada familia was really nice on the inside. It was my 1st time seeing it & I totally recommend it. Food seems expensive in Barcelona. Felt less safe than Madrid.
Madrid on the other hand, I really really loved. It was full of life, lots of things to do & see & prices were reasonable still. Loved the market in Madrid more than Barcelona. Felt safe & easy to get around. The prices of the Tapas have really increased since the last time I was in Spain. Apparently they were really affected by the inflation.
Malaga was so cute, coast line city which is always beautiful to see. Voted the best to live in the world I believe & im not surprised. It was so relaxed & prices were definitely waaaay cheaper than the two cities mentioned. I did groceries & for 62€ it covered food for almost two weeks for two people & that included 12 bottles of beer and two bottles of wine. Crazy right?
The thing that surprised me the most is the lack of English. But that didn’t ruin my experience. The people were warm & friendly. I couldn’t recommend it enough if you haven’t been! Hope this helps!
