Hey I am Maky - originally from the Czech Republic, now based in Australia with my boyfriend Matt - Field Days.
We met 6 years ago in Bali, and now we are travelling, living from the ocean in a 78 series Troopy & capturing the world.
In between our travels, we are building our little homestead and caring for our farm animals.
Let me show you more from the personal side of our lives, inspire you to live a simple, fulfilled life & give you some travel tips.

Bowie bouncing on the bed is just the cutest thing ever, he's getting so big, love your videos, I look forward to them as much as Matts
A little hint on the tomatoes to stop them splitting.. If you are expecting rain and your tomatoes are 'blushing'. pick them and leave them to ripen on the bench. If they haven't started to blush, they won't split. Been gardening for 45 years on two continents and in 4 different growing zones and you are doing better with carrots than I have ever done. For some reason, they don't like to grow for me.
Have you tried sand?

It is crazy to think just 4 weeks ago, Bowie was alone, emaciated, and so vulnerable. He was blessed. Clearly, and so were you.
Look at him now 😊, so loved. Loving life. And spreads a smile around the world. He reflects the love he is receiving, in his skips and jumps. My heart sings.

He is a new goat. And luckily he’s super cute cuz he’s obviously a hand full.
You just reminded me to repot my herbs too! I chucked a whole packet of coriander in a big cement pot and now so much seedlings👏🏽
You can see that bowie is happy an ok your doing an amazing job taking care of him you can see that he's comfortable an everything with you an around you.

If u want huge tomatoes or vegetable plant you put the scrap fish in ur soil when u plant them and I promise on everything you will have huge plants that grow very quickly

Easy recipe for a healthy nutella.
200g Honey
250g Butter
200g Peanur paste
3 Tablespoons of cocoa
Tastes really good and is 100% healthier.
An you should defineteley get some beehives.

When checking for the chicken eggs just be careful because you never know, a snake can crawl in there and hide in the hay. Even when opening the door a snake can just throw a bite when they get surprised. Stay safe and God bless you guys.

Just for knowledge - flaxseed is very healthy in full of omega-3. But it is very sensitive to heat and you should never heat it up. Also I hope you keeping it in the freezer 🤗
hey maky, u should plant a blackcurrant bush, blackcurrants are very diverse in its uses and are delicious too (dont eat them on their own tho unless u like super bitter things)
