This Mach Looks absolutely Incredible in Gulfstream Aqua...Mostly see Shelby's in this color , Few Mach's .. VERY Nice Restoration. One of the Best Ive Ever Seen....Even the Clock was working. My Hat's off...
I think the pop open gas cap was standard on the Mach I. The sports roof (fastback) model would have had the standard gas cap. You may want to check this out so that your video is 100% correct. I always enjoy the vids.
You have a great channel, man! I have such a young kid appreciation for muscle cars and i don't know a lot about the technical stuff yet. Your videos are teaching me. Thanks for this!
The paint on this car had a slightly less than factory style orange peel, but they had a plastic paint protection film on the sunroof to keep it from getting scratched during operation. Because of this, the sunroof does not look as nice as the rest of the car. Check out the still photos at muscle car of the week .com and you can see how nice the paint is.
they didn't research 69 Mustangs very well. The shaker scoop was available will all V-8's 2V and 4V. Only 6's and 302 V-8's could not be ordered with the shaker scoop. And as we all know Mach 1's only came with 351 or larger engines. So shakers were available in all Mach 1's. The car featured here would look much better with gold stripes.
I don't think it really does much, except help cool the engine compartment. You can't really increase the air pressure in the air cleaner, as it's not air tight. You need positive pressure, as made by a supercharger, to increase the power.
Do you know that there were 7 different blue colors for a Mach 1 in 1969? Acapulco/Hulla blue, dresden blue, aztec aqua, gulfstream aqua, winter blue, brittany blue and presidential blue. Freaky isn't it?
The paint is nice but Nathan didn't do it. There's way too much orange peel left for him to have been happy with it. Other that that, nice trip down memory fast-lane.
Bought mine new in 1969. Stolen in 6 months. I did not want it repaired after recovery. What was wrong with it? Snow jammed up the shift linkage, but fortunately I was by a gas station and one block from a job interview. I made it on time and got the job. Second Ford this happened to that I owned new. More serious was the 351 was too heavy and I needed 3 front end alignments in 6 months. Found out in 2010 from a relative who raced Mustangs there was a fix to reinforce the front. Snow traction poorest of any car I ever had even with the limited slip differential. Could not get up a 3% grade with so little snow I could still pavement under it. That was my second and last Ford- found on road dead or fix or repair daily, I forget which. It was nice when it ran and would make a nice collector, but not a daily driver .
Gulfstream aqua blue on the 1969 Fastback was the colour I was trying to find for years !! Thanks 😊
i think all those different aspects of that steering wheel are cool as heck. That swing away wheel thing is great for us bigger guys.
Mustang styling is timeless
Beauty. Wish modern cars were still manufactured so beautifully with chrome and such style.
I cry for all the 60's and early 70 mustangs i owned then sold. Even had a 64 1/2 Cobra with a 289 hp engine, sweet. Now i cry.
Told me everything I needed to know about the classic Mach1.

My favorite Mustang of all time; just needs the 428 SCJ and shaker hood. Beautiful color, and amazing restoration.
What a car, best looking mustang ever !

Beautiful colour.
the hide-away back seats are a pretty cool feature.
my favorite color from the era in Mustangs. Gulfstream Aqua. Matches my '93 Cobra in Teal.
You are the best TH-cam channel ever!!!
Great narration Kevin. Mopar guy likes this car. Chrome accents really pop on tail panel. Nice job.
Awesome car!
Actually At 1 Point Thought I Was Watching The 69, 428 SCJ Stang !!!! Stay Strong....Peace
A friends Jaguar was fitted from new with a sunroof, not done at the factory, believed to be a BMW part. Amazing how these reworks are still done.
Gorgeous horse. :)
best Mach 1 imo, better than any that followed.
How have I never heard of a Mach One with the 390 in it? I swear my entire life they've always been 351's or 428's
Must admit not a Big Ford Guy, But always liked 2nd Gen. Mach I's and Boss Hoss cars.

I did not realize that a sunroof was even offered from the factory.
They rated the 390 at 320 horsepower it probably made more like 370-380 HP.

Does the Brothers Collection have a Raven Black 69? Could you do a video on that car please? Thanks in advance!
Pete :")
Exactly like mine but 351w 4v M-code, and no sunroof :(. Great video. Isn’t it called Acapulco Blue...mine is.

Thank god I'm not rich I'd own too many cars to drive them all
Said no one ever 😂
I didn't know the 69 Mach 1 came with magnum 500 rims. Thought that was a 70 option?
How much would it cost?
Did I see that right a 7000rpm red line on car that peaked somewhere in the 5000rpm range?

dream car ..deih y hina maizen e hahaha lol
I prefer the Boss 429.
