"Kill, stalk, pray again Stand up for your death, the end My friends pain and hurt Are bonded by the fire Blood just inside the soul Push out the blinding peaceful light It will never bring you all, you to realize" I love that part!
The growling kinda fits. I'm usually not a fan of it, but those parts are pretty good. However the refrain is super repetetive and the lyrics are "edgy".
@@sephyrias883 most of hardrock/alternative songs from videogames are edgy and we're cool with it. Check DMC and MGR, both have songs with 'edgy' lyrics and we love them!!
I just finished Millia's 2nd story path in Accent Core, and yeah, it's some guy who'd been ignored by her, so he stabbed Millia before realizing what he was doing. Millia was ok with it though, as she was dying as herself, not controlled by her hair like Zato was with Eddie. That was pretty much a repeat of what Graveheed said, but oh well.
Honestly, the Live vocal albums got WAY better with age thanks to Strive, I personally didn't catch on with my teenage brain what the aim was but despite the flaws of it all, I appreciate it more now as character breakdown songs rather than guilty gear except I can sing with it.
They didn't even know who the characters WERE when they wrote these.. Literally none of them have anything to do with the characters. Go listen to Johnny's lol
Idk I feel like everyone complaining about how the vocals arent synced aren't actually tuned for this kind of music. You gotta listen to how the lyrics are being implemented hence why it sounds the way it does. I've heard metal that had lyrics that seemed like it didn't sync up only for the live version to be the same then I understood why. It adds a sense of difference to the song.
@@TheMonkeyRaceCar i always think about that. if a child was born on the exact same time as this comment was sent then it would aready be in year 8/9. kinda weird isnt it
(Feel free to correct me if I am wrong on anything) Technically, Zato was always "infected" by Eddie. It's just over time, Eddie was taking more control and eventually Millia killed him in the story and Eddie took control of the "corpse" so to speak.
@HASIIC He is a stalker Millia loses control over Angra(the Forbidden Beast living inside her hair) and Kills Bridget by accident While she is in shock he goes and stab her..she dies happily because she is still herself and embraces him as a Thank You
Im big fan of Guilty Gear and Daisuke Ishiwatary i listened english and japanese vocals x amount of time but sometimes i think if they knew what kind lyrics they were writing for english vocals.
@viperkilo they aren't around much, few were even released in the U.S. I think, what copies are left that I saw were like collectors items at collector's prices $100 + , your best bet is to "find" them in "downloadable format" on the "interweb" ...."somewhere" no biggie really, it's not your fault they never made a whole lot of them for official release :P and they would all sooner disapper before you got any or all of them in cd format
@kishinkageri it is already, but its not from the GG series, but its VERY similar and I think its a kind of GG imitation. the games name is BlazBlue or BlazeBlue cant remember exactly :D
I still don't see how these lyrics are any worse/ cheesier than say, Ky's English lyrics. I like them all, and I'd have to say that these are some of the most meaningful lyrics I've heard yet. At least looking at it as a song for a video game, this seems to fit Zato/Eddie/Milla perfectly... shoot they all make sense. Remember its a JAPANESE Video Game Song. Into English I think this is one of the best.. Could be worse..like the SFIV opening song ..in English (ugh..) Shenanigans...
Well, Zato and Millia both used dark magic for their powers, and Zato-1 sacraficed his sight for control over spirits (Eddie). Millia killed Zato-1, and then Eddie took over the corpse. Zato-1 was allways in control till he died.
the thing is, she can only shape the hair she has, and it took a long time for her hair ta reach that length, so chances are she wont be fightin wit it fer a long time
Yes, they had a concert where they gave vocals to numerous songs from both Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, just search the game with "LA Vocal" to find a playlist
I think it's a guy that looks like Zato, judging by the blood and the faces they're making, I'd say she's seeing Zato in the guy, and she killed him, something like that.
the speaking parts are lame but I loev this: It's my kind of war, I am taking every chance Kill them all if they want me to It's my kind of war, I am king of the dark And I will pray to be killed
oh please. Daisuke Ishiwatari was born in South Africa, did not oppose the creation of the three vocal soundtracks (LA, NY, and Lapis Lazuli), and if you're going to favor any of them, it better be the unadulterated originals themselves. the vocals are inspired projects made out of admiration for the GG series
Wait, wasn't Millia the one who killed Zato during a battle? If not why would Venom go after her saying he's going to take revenge for Zato? And wasn't she the one who "betrayed" Zato by leaving the organization?
hmm.. i actualy dont know the title but i know it this one but the core plus just like a remake of that game whit more character and more explainin th story
Am I the only one who feels like a few of these songs would have been a lot better if they had been sung by a woman? I'm one of the few people who actually likes most of these songs too, but eh what can you do?
@viperkilo Lol, I would tell you if I knew how I even got it in the first place...my big bro got me it for my 8th birthday as he knew I loved Guilty Gear~ (he doesn't even remember how he got it) xD

The growling kinda fits. I'm usually not a fan of it, but those parts are pretty good.

same, I actually like it quite a bit, don't get it ppl saying vocal is out of sync, to me seem to be on point.

Most of these imo are better than what Strive has and the fact they don’t know what these songs were about is still impressive.
@@riotstampJohnny's theme is unironically amazing. It's silly but so shamelessly confident in it.
Perfect for Johnny.
It's been 7 years and I still listen to this...
You really dont wanna see Millia in one of those bad hair days
Your feeling lost but not innocent. Damn, that's deep. shame they only stumbled on those words on accident; if the rest of the song is any indication.
the vocals were written by daisuke ishiwatari but the englishversion of the song was sung by some random band in LA

this is so badass dude
This and Existence are the only lyric themes I liked from this musical experiment. Okay, Jam's too for being hilarious.
OMFG freaking awesome. Zato ONE. never woulda guessed that this was taken from the blind samurai ZatoICHI. sweet holy jesus I'm slow.
I will remain a Millia Main.
And I will always be a fan of millia- 😩😩.
Favorite Guilty Gear Track ever!
@vokial2424 Daisuke isn't the one singing ._. he's merely the composer for what was originally the instrumental of this song~
Shes also my best char in guilty gear, so she has a speacil place in my heart XD
One of the few vocal versions I like.
very good >.

the vocal versions are not bad, the whole problem is that some parts are totally outta sync.
We can always redo them. I'm not part of this band but I've been wanting to these lyrics and make them fit more with GG. They seem real lazy
Im big fan of Guilty Gear and Daisuke Ishiwatary i listened english and japanese vocals x amount of time but sometimes i think if they knew what kind lyrics they were writing for english vocals.
I'll admit, the lyrics are hit or miss. But if anyone thinks they can do better, I'd like to see what they come up with.

@djhugot Matt Zane is the vocalist. There are other who plays the music but I don't remember'em, sorry.

actually,he is called Zato-1...After he was controlled by the shadow monster, he became eddie...

the lyrics is " You can take everything you want "
