    I’m lucky enough to own this now. Mega mega car. Attention to detail is ridiculous. It drives wonderfully. ( just stumbled over this video! )

    Great build and a Great looking car! Well done! What kind of flares are you using at the front? Are these from Rose Passion?

    Nice build and I love the wheel/tire combo, but I have to ask---why backdate a 930? Seems unnecessary to take an already legendary car and backdate it when there are plenty of 3.2's and SC's out there, esp crashed ones, that can give you the same outcome. Just my two cents.

      Agreed, you do not modify, an original 930....

    • @chriscarbaugh3936
      @chriscarbaugh3936 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why, because Turbos are bloody fast. Because the longhood looks better. And to build a good early NA engine w 300hp will cost you $20k ++. Because it’s what some of us do, modify. I know I have one of each and a 914-6. Values of 930s have fallen and if you have a non-stock high mileage car why not? In today’s market it’s worth only a bit more than a non-turbo, at least at the moment. I toyed w the idea of backdating my ‘85 Turbo. I have a ‘71 911. I will keep it a narrow body and build an engine, then no doubt sell the 930

    Of all the 911 RSR builds I've seen, this is certainly one of them. Lot of nice work but hate the wheels, mirrors, colour and the stupid stripe on the roof. Went classic but then didn't.

    that was a galvanized Porsche - how did it get that rusty?

    • @Steve_MFr
      @Steve_MFr 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The earliest galvanized 911's are now 43 years old. Generally, there is a lot more of the shell left over than there would be of a similar '75 and earlier model, but they still rust.

    It’s either a 911 turbo, OR a 930. A ‘930 turbo’ is like stating that it is a 911 turbo turbo 🤔.

    Great build, but to use an original 930? Hummm....plenty of donor 911's out there.

      the f15 eagle is so much faster, and doesn't have a heavy rear end.
