I feel bad for the single animation undergraduate Saber's got animating all the DLC guns, but I'm glad to see he managed to make the MG3 from the last update actually look passable.
It's weird cause that only started happening around when the Suppressed glocks were added. The riot shield Glock, lightsaber and mosin had great animations
@@doorsareforopening Those were made before the lead animator left, and were also done in house, the new DLC is made by Saber Interactive as a subsidiary, since the main dev team is busy with KF3, but SI's main body of work is ports and support work, so it's entire possibly that it's genuinely only one or two animators whose whole job beforehand was making sure everything lined up.
Hey! You got both on perk fast reload and off perk normal reloads in there! Very nice. Not many KF2 vids on gun reloads bother to put in the reload skill into the video (probably because they don't have their perks leveled up).
Because the HSG1 was designed to be a smart shotgun , explained by it's ability to switch between tight bullet spread and wide bullet spread and the sight also glows in the dark , so Tripwire added that UI sound effect to make it seem like a digital shotgun
I downloaded a sound mod where it replaces some of the weapon sounds with their counterparts from the first game, and I must say: tripwire needs to fire their current sound designer. They sound more beefy, more strong than ever, and they go well with the smooth animations, firing the scar now makes me have a eargasm
It was Tripwire's choice to use a pre-made soundpack instead of sound designed . Do remember both game have the same sfx designer Ryan See , due to the second game's soundpack he resorts to making sci-fi weapons sounds instead . Ryan See if you know him he also makes sounds for Rising Storm series
You know what?, I'm fine these new animation (after mosin nagant and glock 18 w/ shield) Until Glock 18C And Blunderbuss Showed up Now has been Changed afterwards
I appreciate your effort of showing weapon without background noise, mate! But I have a question, why everytime an KF1 appears, there is a strange drum sound?
KF2 is a good case study of how more realism doesn't equal more fun. A lot of the animations and sounds were better in the first game. Though I have to admit, the KF2 fast dual pistols reload and the highest tier medic rifle reload are incredible.
Agreed. In my eyes the first game grim stetic make the reloads & sounds satifying as hell but the second more goofy / comedic / somewhat light hearted approach dumbed down the setting and it didn't work for me if it wasn't for the gameplay, music and specially the beautifull animations of the weapons wich sadly fell of a cliff now.
@@est_9855 +1 But since I kinda lean more to kf2, I downloaded some mods to make it kinda more gritty, and it's going pretty well. Zeds sounds (beta scrake, slasher and KF1 fleshpound), weapon sounds from KF1 and some other games, maps and some gun skin to make them look like either guns that the military had before dying, or improvised ones (the junkyard ones). I even got to say that I jumped out of my chair when a fleshpound was running through a corridor full of zeds, while killing all of them and screaming like a demon
I don't know but I feel like some of the DLC guns are just off when it comes to animations (except the riot shield/glock and corruptor carbine/the weird sniper rifle) Edit: The Freezethrower has a "tactical reload"!
Awesome to see your continued love for games like Killing Floor! As a fellow fan of the genre, I thought you might be interested in checking out Barricade, a demo I recently released on Steam. It shares a lot of similarities with KF2, and I'd genuinely value your thoughts on it, given your veteran status in the genre. Looking forward to hearing your take on Barricade, and here's to more great gaming content from you!
the arsenal in KF2 was disappointing there were many cooler weapons in KF1 replaced by overseen guns. why replacing the LAW launcher by an RPG7 ? as well as a M1911 over the Mark 23 by example? I Wish i would get the first game instead of the second. of course they put another gun seen in 99% of action game a G36C with terrible animations and bad sounds. why it wouldn't be a G36E or K instead with an integrated sight? bravo Tripwire you killed your series!

M32 in KF1 : Need manually remove the shell (idk what it's called)
M32 in KF2 : Oh yeah, gravity exist.

woW sO fUNny
some of the metallic clanks of KF 1 weapons make them feel better
some guns from KF2 sound like plastic despite being metal
I prefer kf1, the arsenal and the vibe of the game just makes it a classic
plus there were more original guns like the Keltec RFB and the HK Mark 23

What the fuck are those bongo drum sounds I keep hearing in the KF1 segments.
Game so old the music was modded by cavemen
The normal reloads for KF2 look way more natural and accurate than MW thats for sure
(Excluding the some of the DLC guns)
We don't talk about (most) of the dlc guns
I can’t wait for KF3s weapons
in general i think the KF1 reload sounds were more meaty and metallic sounding compared to KF2
KF1 sounds designs is leagues better than KF2,imho. Everything sounded punchy and poweful in KF1,even the weak ass 9mm.
it's an unfair downgrade
The headshots in KF1 were so fucking satisfying.
like one man said: "KF1 - sound porn, KF2 - gun porn"
5:35 I always questioned why they used a stock computer noise when reloading this shotgun. Doesn't make sense.
Dont matter it sounds cool anyway
I think that version is from the first game which is pretty old

The sound effects in 2 kinda suck
the golden days, where games had actual animations and not just screenshakes and autistic mag taps
