@@blacknoodles6538 Well, for one, I bind. I wear baggy shirts. Face masks help a lot. I use makeup sometimes to make my facial features look more defined. I really need to get back into working out. Emotionally, my therapist always just reminded me that other people don't define me and they don't know me, so what they think I am doesn't matter. Sometimes I do gender affirming guided meditations. I try not to look in the mirror or look at myself when I bathe. I don't really know other than that. Distract myself? I wish it was like when I lucid dream and I can mold my body to my willthen fly around topless because I can.

With my experiences with being Agender, I knew this;
I knew my gender fluctuated in some way (with masculinity, femininity, being neutral, etc. etc. rather than being male and female), but I realized that the label Genderfluid didn't describe my experience. At the end of the day, I'd just rather be a human who can change its gender expression to make it feel comfortable with itself rather than conforming to an exact gender.
I feel the same way. I typically present somewhere between fem and androgynous, but I feel it doesn't factor into my gender. the way I dress doesn't make me a girl, it makes my happy :)
Oohh, same. I kind of like to describe my experience of gender as being agender but genderfluid, aka I don't have a gender but have some flux. Neither of those terms rly fit, so I just say that I'm non-binary. I do flux between feeling more masculine, feminine, neutral, and what I'd call enbiness (like feminity and masculinity; it feels simultaneously like nothing and something other) on a low lvl. Sometimes I can feel more than one at a time. Idk if I ever have 0% days, but it's like the max of any of those is 50% and I don't usually feel any of those over 30%. So I don't feel it very intensly. It's cool to know that's someone else has a similar experience! 👋

That's a great explanation of being flux. I identify as agenderflux because it just sounded like the best definition for me but I didn't really know what the flux meant. Experiencing different intensities of being agender mixed with slightly feeling another gender quite resonates with me, so I think I chose the right label. Thanks for the explanation :)

I'm on one of those websites where you get chosen for surveys (not sure if it's the right way to describe it in English sry) and then you have to pick a gender and the good surveys have three or more possible answers. So basically sometimes I chose female, sometimes the third option and sometimes I needed like a full minute to choose and I was like, am I cheating on myself, until it just recently clicked and I realised, woops, looks like I'm girlflux and actually answering these questions truthfully xD

Finally someone else who understands. Feeling like my being is adjacent to a nebula is not a gender nor is it related to gender. The nebula is my whole being, and there is not a gender in the nebula, nor is there room for a gender in the nebula. I also kinda identify with dragons and elves because I'm a dragon who can shapeshift into an elf in my lucid dreams, and I've spent a lot of time lucid dreaming. It was like a whole second life for me back in middle school, and it was the one place I felt like I could truly be myself. Identity doesn't equal always equal gender.

I recognize that I have a female body, but I never perceived myself as a girl. My body is not a woman body; it's just a body. I don't have girl or boy interests or personality traits; they're just my interests and personality. I cannot know what it's like to attach my appearance, my voice, my hobbies, etc to my gender, as I have no gender to attach it to. I just wear and do whatever I like and whatever suits me.
Big agree - if I were to wake up tomorrow and everything was the same, except I was now male, I would only be freaking out over _how_ that happened. And maybe be grumpy over the fact that I have to re-fit my clothing. Otherwise, life would continue as normal for me. There would be no gender crisis over my sex changing.

oh how great my morning has started, 💖😁😁🎉 ok this is quite personal, I am asexual and personally think privates look absolutely horrendous and i would become non-binary physically if some like that was possible. never connected to any gender stuff, didn't understood it thought I might be non-binary but didn't came to terms with it, it just was neither understable nor connective, then I discovered the term agender felt quite comfortable and immediately connected. today when I watched this video I am like ooo I have made one two decisions in my life NO and NO. Here’s my current gender situation-I’m mostly just writing it here to vent, but if anyone reads this it’d be cool as well. I just feel like gender is a completely invented, arbitrary thing, and I have totally lost sight of what it means to identify as a certain gender. Additionally, I think that I don’t really care about which pronouns you use to refer to me, because I don’t feel like any of them hold meaning to me. I’m generally more comfortable with girl-related adjectives and words declined in feminine form, but that might simply be because I’m more used to it. Presenting in a traditionally girly way mostly makes me uncomfortable. This all seems very agender, but, when I think of myself as agender, it feels like I’m erasing something that’s there, or like I’m over-simplifying things. Sometimes I feel very much a part of the group of people that is “women”, and sometimes I identify more with traditionally male things, but I never feel completely at home with either. To be honest, my gender identity is probably somewhere in the middle, and I might find it eventually, but I don’t think I care enough to actively try and figure myself out. I’m comfortable enough as I am (other than the fact I wish I had smaller/nonexistent boobs, lol).
Dude I’m in almost perfectly in the same situation. The fact that gender stereotypes exists, it makes me feel the two genders of male and female are basically impossible to hold. Just the idea of both feels, artificial? In a way. However, one night I felt completely female without the use of traditional girly stuff. I’ve felt male other times but most of the time, I’m Demigirl. (But that could also be of social influence). I care a bit more of my pronouns but I still don’t know the ones I’ll stick with. I suspect I might be demifluid or totally genderfluid bc of this, but my brain believes that I’m not any of this and just a girl like my sisters. 😅 I started venting too but it’s all confusing. Try journaling your thoughts, I’m trying it out and I think it can help see an overview of all your gender thoughts. Also I completely agree with the whole “erasing a part of you”. I know something’s there but I can’t identify it.
The only thing I’m sure of is my asexuality.

0:50 As an autistic agender person, I somewhat have this issue where I'm between thinking gender is convoluted or gender is a pointless concept. However, I tend to think about it like this; When you're born, you have a masculine side and a feminine side. However, in some cases, you can have a third side which can be interpreted as gender neutrality. Other cases, you can just have no sides (Agender) or your sides are manifested into scribbles that shape into animals, objects, or even concepts (Xenogender). Maybe 2 or more of those sides fluctuate between each other (Genderfluid) or just coexist (Bigender, Trigender, Polygender, or genders similar to it). Maybe you don't care about the existence of the sides at all (Gender Apathetic) or you feel like there's an empty hole there (Gendervoid). I know this is probably a really simplified interpretation of it and doesn't accurately cover the entire complex spectrum of gender (This probably doesn't include specific micro labels), but this gets the point of gender across to me.
You can be Agender and still have pronouns you prefer. Like I go by She/They cause I like them more than the others!

i’m agender because i don’t believe in gender in the way i don’t believe in god.
gender is a social construct. it’s putting people in 2 categories and judging their intellect, personality, strength, emotions and more based on which one they’re in. i found that not telling anyone my gender online made my interactions feel more genuine, like gender just muddied the communication.
oddly, i still use he/they. i probably don’t use she/her because of transphobia and the need to distance myself from my sex, and they/them is the most comfortable thing for me. i’m just used to it, it’s nothing special. not sure about he/him though, not a lot of people use it on me, but i kinda like it, i think??

I just found out I might be agender I'm still young and granted it might change over time but often times I don't really care about gender or pronouns I'm fine with whatever and I feel as though this fits me best as of now
I really don't really "feel" like I have a gender so I thought I might be agender, finally i determined I'm between agender and demigirl . (They/them pronouns)
