Ohhhhh yeah! That upcoming rack rig episode is going to be killer. I've watched the other one like 5 times, lol! My favorite episode of all time along with Bradshaw, Suhr, Soldano, and the Jake one. Maybe the guy who builds the current Trainwreck amps would come on? He worked with Ken as Dave mentioned and I'm sure he has a ton of insight and stories to tell of working with Ken.
@@Severin-Reed Yes, an awesome and funny episode for sure!! The one with James Brown was awesome as well. I was surprised how much so actually. Maybe they'll have some guests in the rack episode... Nielsen is a must and Leon Todd would be awesome - another fellow rack nerd.
it took this long to ask this? YES!! Dave definitely knows how to get himself in trouble. Guitar nerds all over TH-cam just caught sight of the “Ring of Power.”
I have ( 2) 7.1 Denon receivers. 1 room has the full surround. The other is stereo plus center channel. The Klipsch KG-2 have enough lows. I removed the sub. I also use a DBX 119 to take analog tv and limit tv. I switch to digital when watching BD.
The Original Six are the teams that composed the National Hockey League (NHL) between 1942 and 1967. The six teams are the Boston Bruins, Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Toronto Maple Leafs. After serving as the league's only teams for 25 seasons, they were joined by six new franchises in the 1967 NHL expansion.
@@Ontariosound And if you buy 60-70 years old NOS tubes with gold plated pins, you don't need to fight with pins covered by oxidation. I recently purchased some very nice NOS Telefunken tubes but pins were so heavily oxidated that they were almost green. 😡
You guys probably get more metal heads than metallurgy nerds, but the fundamental mechanism for tin wisker formation is not well understood. It has been observed in the laboratory and hypothesized that it is primarily due to different compressive stresses that produce shearing at the through thickness grain boundaries with particular orientation to the film layer. Tin extrudes from the grains, whose surface oxide films are sheared. Dave is correct that if they are cleaned, they will in fact return; however, the problem was first discovered in the 40s.
Got my IRX Two weeks ago and i have to say it is the BEST guitar related thing i have bought. I hate you Dave... now i have to get the money to buy BE Deluxe :P........
Hey there, I’d like to do it ideally but I just can’t find the time to do extra content. I don’t want to take anyone’s money if we can’t provide added content for the added funds. Maybe one day!
Wolfgang special is also on Prime, FYI!
Are you kidding???? a 100W VH style plexi from Dave?!?!???!?! HOW DO YOU EVEN THIINK TO ASK?!?!? Woo hoo!!! That will sell off the charts 🤪🤘🇦🇺🍺

Dave: "I'm rooting for Edmonton"
Marc: "Screw you" 🤣🤣
That's why we love these guys. 😆
Go Oilers!!
I was hoping that they would have bet on the winner and the bet would have been some very valuable guitar or amplifier. 🤓
Great Show as always!!
Have you guys been able to reach out to Tom Scholz from Boston? Would love to see that on Tone Talk.

Marc, what’s the harley benton you’re getting? Inquiring minds want to know. lol
Hey it’s the Harley Benton HT Modern.
@@tone-talkPerfect. Thanks!
Ok , no more gold pin tubes for me .

Your Polish neighbours will be shocked you’ve not heard of them
Gdańsk! Bless you
The Torin Nealson show would be a good time to showcase Marc's pedalboard.
Dave Friedman is the lord and master of all that is tube
Should perhaps get Baskim Zuta on the show. One of fhe few new builders making racked amps.
I’m on Dave’s side on both his opinions on hockey and his amps.
Go Panthers!! 😊
Gold plated tube pins are fine if tube socket contacts are gold plated as well.
Yes. Male and Female connectors must be the same metal. For conductance and corrosion resistance.

Two dissimilar metals will exhibit galvanic corrosion over time.

Is Metro D coming back? Or can it be custom ordered?

I had a friend who had a PV Rock Master. I thought it sounded like ass. My mp1 was far better.
🤘🏻
I have zero interest in lps....
