hey I just wanted to ask if you could make a video on how to set an appropriate price for games and consoles that you are reselling and the factors you should consider when setting a price as I think it would help a lot of us trying to get into the industry, thanks!
I use pricecharting.com and eBay sold comps to figure out the value and determine the sell through rate so I can accurately price it. Hope that helps and thanks for watching👍🏻
Had my new 3ds xl I got on launch day in box played it maybe 5x sadly still not worth much. Think I got $85 locally selling it
There is money to be made but with increasing fees increasing shipping
And the simple fact buyer can simply say “didn’t get it” and you loose consoles and your money 🥴
Consoles are why offer prices on eBay

In regards to selling video games on my eBay store GameCube games are the only types of video games I sell… I source at 50% of whatever price charting value is…
I was surprised to see you spend $900 on a $1,400 return… That made me reconsider my whole 50% strategy… It looks like you paid 65% of its value leaving you with 35% profit before fees…
What’s your limit when purchasing video game bundles?
I usually aim for 30%+ after fees but if its from a supplier or a item I can sell with 48 hours I will go down to 20% after fees if needed depending on the situation. Hopefully that helps and thanks for watching👍🏻
@@AirValYT Paying 50% I think worked amazing during covid times where people were just looking to sell and make money. Nowadays paying 20-25% seems to be the competitive norm, especially with sellers/collectors who know they have solid stuff..
I have a guy I consistently buy from 20-25% but he always has super solid stuff, very few filler and always contacts me first before posting or selling elsewhere. I pay more yes but I also turn around more so the cash flow is consistent and not too much time on my side..
The problem with paying 30,40,50 etc percent off market or price charting is that you likely wont get the same amount of quality from the seller, and theres always a chance that if someone is paying more (which is highly likely) then youlll lose that connection as that seller would just sell to them for anything in the future..
Honestly if you guys have solid sellers/sourcing people I'd keep that connection strong as you know what youre gonna get in terms of quality stuff, and no hassle. I have one I buy at 20% from which is all heavy hitting retro nintendo stuff and such, and another I buy at 25% which is solid stuff from slower moving systems like xbox, ps3, wii etc..
That's just my perspective on things hope that helps though!!
how do you test xbox one games and ps4 games quickly? because it forces you to install each one for like an hour to 30 mins. with xbox 360 and older stuff just pop in the disc and tested 1 min later
For xbox one and ps4 games I dont test them at all unless they got scratches. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 👍🏻

I promote everything up to 5-7% and I Iet eBay control it. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 👍🏻

I am sure you run into lot of problems with payment from ebay as clients can b.s and say products is not good and meantime it's perfect?
1000% sad truth! eBay will side with buyer simply by then saying it didn’t arrive even when tracking shows picture at their door 😂
