I have relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. It got so bad I could barely walk. A Dr. At OHSU told me if I didn't do a treatment called Mitoxantrone (low level chemo treatment) I would be in a wheelchair. That treatment was the best thing I could have done! It stabilized the multiple sclerosis. I dud the treatment once every 4 months for a year. I can only do this treatment for 1 more year because it will cause heart toxicity if done more than 2 years. I wonder if Christina knows or has tried this treatment. I feel so bad for her. I know how she feels. I gained weight to. It feels like your life has been taken away from you and you will never get your life back. The best thing anyone can do for themselves is to remain positive. If you don't multiple sclerosis will get very very bad fast!! Praying for you Christina 🙏 ❤️
Thank God for Christina Applegate for her ability to communicate about Multiple Sclerosis. Thank God for Kelly Clarkson for bringing Christina's condition to her audience.
I think she wanted to cry the whole interview, poor beautiful Christina. It absolutely sucks balls, I hope she has more good days , a miracle for this girl ❤
Love her since a child and loved every character but Christina had my heart since a child since even married with children and don’t tell mom the baby sitter is dead 😅

I was diagnosed with MS 30 years ago. Doing great; no meds. Long journey to find my health. I lift weights 3x/week & cardio the other days. You can thrive.
Wow, that’s actually exactly what I need to read. I’m not on meds either I do yoga and meditation, because that shit can take a toll on your mental health ofcourse sometimes I get scared and think what if I just go on the meds but I’ve been there and it just made me worse. I think food is medicine and of course exercise as you do is really important for me I do yoga meditation, and for my mental sanity, and what I find therapeutic is writing so now I am an Indie author I haven’t made any sales, but the quality that it provided me the therapy. It just means so much more.
No medications? Wow, im impressed! Can you give More details please. Im fascinated by natural cures/treatments for illnesses that generally end up with pharmaceuticals!
I’ve always been a fan of Christina. Everyone called me “Kelley Bundy” growing up in the 80s. Unfortunately, I have MS as well. I’ve been dealing with it for 22 years. Every day is a struggle but we have to stay strong for our selves, loved ones, and children. ❤❤❤❤ I loved the entire “Dead to Me” series and watched it in 2 days. God Speed Christina!
Hi your story sounds similar to me growing up in the eighties to I am also struggling with symptoms but doctors have found nothing how were you diagnosed with Ms if you don't mind me asking what test should I ask to take did they give you to find out
After being accused of being a liar, a drug seeker, and getting security called on me at a neurologist appointment just because I wanted to rule out M.S. I am standing tall and speaking out. What is going on with this study. Why treat people this way. If I don't have M.S fine BUT if I do. Let me just say I'll stand to fight for M.S awareness. I want to thank the M.S community for their support. You are all amazing and words can't describe how thankful I am for those who are speaking up and helping others to keep fighting. We got this.
Watching the final season of dead to me you could tell Christina’s emotions were transferring to the screen through her character. Whether she meant to or not she took us all on that journey with her. Sad and beautiful all at the same time. I hope It gets better for her, sending nothing but love her way
Great series~~Love Christina and Linda Cardellini in 'Dead to Me"~~I pray so hard for Selma Blair and Christina~~God Bless you both and all who suffer from MS~~~💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏
Christina seems on the verge of tears with every word she speaks...It's okay not to be okay...You're as beautiful as ever Christina. Be well one day at a time. Love both of you ladies. Your personalities are very similar.
I have a genetic disorder that left me disabled 5 years ago at the age of 25. I absolutely LOVED Dead to Me. I always saw so much of myself in Judy, and the last season really touched me and what I’ve been going through in grieving the loss of my old self prior to becoming sick. I love both Christina and Linda! Their performances were off the charts. PS: I call myself a disabilbabe so I loved Christina’s song 😂
As someone with a similar MS journey, I appreciate how real and authentic she is about it instead of the smoke and mirrors of pretending it doesn’t suck. Thank you Christina.
As someone who also has an MS diagnosis, I really appreciate Kelly's sensitivity when it comes to comparing experiences. A lot of well-meaning people respond with "I know how you feel" in an attempt to be empathetic, but it can feel even more isolating when people flippantly equate minor and temporary inconveniences to a chronic condition where you're either severely debilitated or in constant fear of a relapse. It's a whole other level of existence; not just to come to terms with a potentially permanent debilitation but also to consider how it can suddenly change the trajectory of the plans and ambitions you have for yourself, as well as a divergence away from what has always been "normal". My heart goes out to Christina. I can't imagine what it must be like to be faced with the likelihood of needing to step away from something that has been such a huge part of her life for such a long time.
I was diagnosed with MS after having symptoms for two years prior to the event that I said enough is enough, and went to see my doctor. Two weeks later I was diagnosed with MS. I wouldn't wish MS on anyone, not even my worst enemy.
@@dermlover1 Fatigue, heat sensitivity, numbness in extremities, lose balance just turning around, pain (nerve), falling (seems for no reason). There are more but this should give you a start.
This is a truly evil disease. I am 22 years in and it has gone from RR to Secondary Progressive. And sadly doctors just don't listen to you. It took 7 years for them to listen to me. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this also 😢
I saw a serie on Netflix where they treat people with bee poison, very interesting and I really hope it can help people diagnosed with MS. Maybe worth watching and doing research about it . Good luck ❤️
RRMS since the age of 27 here. Christina and I are exactly the same age. I understand her symptoms and pain very well and during flare ups, you can never plan anything ahead of time because you do not know how you will feel from day to day. Nice interview, Happy Easter to you both.
I love when Christina said this sucks balls excuse her self and Kelly said you can say anything you want I truly wish them both the best and big blessings there way so much compassion n thoughtfulness with each other
I have Scleroderma sarcoidosis small fiber neuropathy raynauds sjogrens and now I have none of myelitis optica and multiple sclerosis so I'm terminal now I was diagnosed with those two last year the same time she was. I also gained 40 pounds and I was a skinny little person and now I'm not so when she talks about what she was going through I felt like I finally wasn't alone I was watching myself go and deteriorate and have people judge me and do all that but it was all the meds I was put on everything that was done I just blew up and I've always been a small person. The amount of pain I struggle with on a daily basis is like no other I can barely walk and I'm 36 years old and I have two boys that rely on me. I'm also legally blind because of my diseases and I cannot drive. So I totally appreciate her being so transparent with everything she goes through cuz it really helps people like me go through what we go through
Just finished watching the third season of her Dead to Me. Amazing that she continued filming through such a serious DX. Way to go Girl your strength should be acknowledged.
Dead to Me is my favorite binge of all time -- the first, second and third time I watched it. Incredible in every aspect. I never could decide who was the best of the characters - perfect casting. And now knowing what Christina has done with something that might beat others down, I am blown away with her as an inspiration to just live every day to the best. Total respect.
Love you Christina!!! 😘❤️And really loved Dead to Me! It was so raw and funny and emotional! I am watching it all over again. I love your cynical humor, not many ppl are as talented as you😘😊 wish you all the health and happiness forever !💕😘😊
Christina, you are my new Queen. Dead To Me is brilliant. YOU. ARE. AMAZING. Fking incredible, strong, beautiful, talented, and hilarious. You’ve got this!!
I was born in 1971 like Christina. I have had a crush on her since I was in high school. She is a wonderful, beautiful, funny, talented, kind person and actress. My wife and I loved "Dead to Me." I hope we will keep seeing you Christina!!
I was diagnosed April 2 of this year, but I had symptoms for 10 years, I’d go to the drs, I wasn’t properly diagnosed. I had a flare up 4 years ago, my left leg was in pain, and I couldn’t walk. I was under so much stress at that moment. This a complicated disease, it affects everyone differently. Just gotta keep going in life
Agreed, I’d only seen her in comedy, which I know is supposed to be some of the hardest acting. But I’ve never been a fan of most comedies. She was so powerful yet so funny
I love her so much. She’s so funny and she tries to see the light and positive out of things. That’s one of the reasons that she is so amazing. And she’s so beautiful inside and out. What a wonderful personality and sense of humour. She’s always been one of my favourite actresses. I love dead to me so much, such an amazing show and both Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are phenomenal and talented
Christina Applegate is one of my favourite actors and her strength and courage is moving. I love her and she’s the type of person we all need in a best friend! ❤❤❤
I totally feel your pain Christina! diagnosed AS last year, major spinal surgery that failed, a long with so many other degenerative issues in my spine has caused me to isolate too. Went from out working everyone, never stopping or slowing down, to fully disabled and in a constant state of grieving the life I had, the things I miss so much, grieving every single thing we took for granted without knowing it. Grieving for what my wife and kids lost too. Watching our worlds change forever, and knowing they are missing out on the life I had built and planned for them is tragic. Being ill and having no way out is something we can never change, and it sucks bad. I worked through horrible pain for years. I let it anger me enough to use it as a motivational tool. It made me work harder, push myself further, telling myself that the pain was simply a sign I've accomplished a lot! Not knowing what was wrong with me all that time made me honestly cause more damage in the end. All we can do is keep trying treatments and putting our feet on the floor every single day. It truly is living in hell to suffer the way so many of us do, every single moment of our existence. I'm only 36! Stay strong all!
One of my closest friends was diagnosed with MS a couple years ago and her strength, courage and resilience has inspired me. Christina is amazing and her diagnosis and the courage she has shown has shone a light on this terrible disease. Thank you Christina, you're an inspiration.
If someone doesn't like Christina Applegate I don't trust their judgement. She should live and be however she wants or has to and everyone should be ok with it. No fishbowl!!!
Christina’s acting in Dead to Me is brilliant. Also she made me feel it’s okay and feel better about using the F word. Haha. What a tough diagnosis. I wish her all the best.
I found this out because I started binging Dead to Me and noticed that she looked different and not just physically but something significant had changed. Sending so much love to her - she seems like a really good person.
Just finished bingeing Dead to Me. It was such great entertainment! After learning of Christina's MS diagnosis, I could see how she relayed actual pain into her acting. What a trooper! She was outstanding! Glad to see her looking well & speaking so honestly about her disease. 👏 🥰
I'm the same age as christina and I can't imagine what shes going through and how I would react to that diagnosis but she's amazing how she s handling this. She is a great actress!
Christina is such a beautiful soul...and funny too.... she's handling everything good.... I understand how she feels...I have MS too... everyday is a stuggle...but I push through ❤
I love Christina & loved, loved “ dead to me “ I also want to mention & acknowledge how much I love Kelly Clarkson’s minimal/ no make up look, she’s so real as it gets.
Kelly your compassion and thoughtfulness in this interview was beautiful. And yes you two seem like you would make great friends. Loved Christina Applegate since I was a kid as well.
I have maintained my same "humor through tears" for 2 1/2 years now. Our story is too long to post , but I URGE all to remember that your strength in the beginning of a "nightmare" for other's is needed just as much down the road . Often survival is just the beginning of a gravel road in bare feet & seeing a pair of shoes miles away before the next trek of gravel road is easier.
I love Christina.❤️❤️❤️ I’ve been dealing with an autoimmune disease most of my life and humour has been a big factor in how I’ve dealt with it. I love that Christina tells us how it is and is so authentic.❤️🙏
We always look at movie stars as immortal, rich and perfect. Then when things like this happen to actors the human comes out and the rich and perfect part dissappears. For Christina to come out like this does make her immortal. Thoughts and prayers 🙏 Christina and see you back soon!!! You are truly amazing 👏
so grateful for her being well enough to finish dead to me, it's an amazing show and it had a beautiful ending. also grateful she's feeling well enough now to do some interviews.
Oh my heart goes out to you sweet lady!!! I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis 10 years ago. So I totally understand and know how this ugly disease can be. I've had days of feeling like I'm being tortured and tormented. Then I'll have a good day. Unfortunately the type of MS I have is debilitating with no remissions. I was approved for stem cell therapy in San Diego but living off of disability makes 17.000$ impossible. It's something that you should totally look into Christina!! My thoughts and prayers are with you and all suffering from this ugly disease! 🙏
I am happy that she can be so candid about her struggle with MS. I had a feeling something was going on with her, but I wasn’t sure. I thought that it was her character being so affected by the stress of the murder and Judy’s cancer. She is a solid actor, so probably a combination of both.
I so agree! I don't know how I would have landed after my MS diagnosis. Truly, my work on my ranch has been my saving thing. Animals need to be fed. Fields need to be harvested. It's rough but I understand exactly what she says!
best interview lol i lve how kelly is so sincere but it shows even more when shes sick and doing an interview and Christina Applegate kills it also with the end statement on how ms is so different for any of us with it to make it clear not to compare us to each other we might have simmler battles but they all take different things and form in different ways love this video

I’ve loved Christina Applegate since I was a small child. I was 2 years old when “Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead” came out. I didn’t watch it until I was about 5 or 6. I also love “The Sweetest Thing”. She’s always been such a comedian and amazing actress. I love everything she is in and I wish her the best. She’s gone through so much with being a cancer survivor and now having MS. She’s just such a blessing to this entire world.
I admire Kelly that she is willing to go on TV natural, without make-up. I think that is one reason people love her along with that amazing voice of course and great attitude.
Christina is a remarkable woman Kelly gave a wonderful interview as always God bless Christina that must be a very hard thing to have gone through the cancer and then this but God has you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You're gorgeous kid. Nothing changes that. God is with you, us. We just need to see. Not a fan of any show. But you're here. And here we all came for you. Find faith, hope. God is

Great words to describe her.

I understand how she feels...I have MS too... everyday is a stuggle...but I push through ❤
Love Christina! Kelly has such a beautiful, young, natural face!
I love Christina & loved, loved “ dead to me “ I also want to mention & acknowledge how much I love Kelly Clarkson’s minimal/ no make up look, she’s so real as it gets.
I rediscovered her through her character in Dead To Me, she is amazing, a great actrice! I loved the show. And she is so lovable!
She put her true heart in her acting what was going on in her real she brought to the plate and she is a phenomenal actress much respect
She is one of my favorite Actress
I love Christina.❤️❤️❤️ I’ve been dealing with an autoimmune disease most of my life and humour has been a big factor in how I’ve dealt with it. I love that Christina tells us how it is and is so authentic.❤️🙏
We always look at movie stars as immortal, rich and perfect. Then when things like this happen to actors the human comes out and the rich and perfect part dissappears. For Christina to come out like this does make her immortal. Thoughts and prayers 🙏 Christina and see you back soon!!! You are truly amazing 👏

Thank u Christina for giving us So much! ❤️
They are both so genuine and it's generous to share like that
so grateful for her being well enough to finish dead to me, it's an amazing show and it had a beautiful ending. also grateful she's feeling well enough now to do some interviews.
she wasn't "well enough", she had MS.
She had my heart forever
Oh my God Christina Applegate is everything and more she's so God damn gorgeous I love her so much always 🥰🥰🥰
Amanda, i am so sorry that you are trapped by both MS and a disgraceful health (no)care system. I wish you much remission
Lovely Christina! ❤ I am just watching "Married... with children". She is a legend.
This is a beautiful and real conversation between Kelly and Christina. Have always loved both of them anyways. ❤️
I love you Christina! I've binge watched alot of your movies and tv shows! Hope you decide to do some new ones!
best interview lol i lve how kelly is so sincere but it shows even more when shes sick and doing an interview and Christina Applegate kills it also with the end statement on how ms is so different for any of us with it to make it clear not to compare us to each other we might have simmler battles but they all take different things and form in different ways love this video

God Bless You Christina .We love you ❤
I’ve loved Christina Applegate since I was a small child.
She really is legend
Kelly interviewed Christina amazingly!! wow!! I was supper impressed!
such a beautiful, strong, funny, sweet, smart and inspiring woman, love her ❤️❤️
I admire Kelly that she is willing to go on TV natural, without make-up. I think that is one reason people love her along with that amazing voice of course and great attitude.

You're gorgeous kid. Nothing changes that. God is with you, us. We just need to see. Not a fan of any show. But you're here. And here we all came for you. Find faith, hope. God is
