Instead of searching for a specific piece of armor, instead set the main stat filter to what you want, then set for what class, a ranger can equip druid gear that might be cheaper and has the same stats. or you can get a piece with 2 stats on it like the spangenhelm instead of the more expensive ranger hoods. and those might have better rolls for what you need TLDR: Search by class, main stat, sub stat, and location of armor. it opens many cheaper options you might miss out on otherwise
“Cheaper” comes with the cost of mobility most of the time. Mobility is king in this game at least imo. If it’s cheaper but costs you fights it’ll be more expensive in the long run to keep replacing. Do with that what you will, having fun is all that matters and even if you lose it all you can just go sub 25 and do it all over again.

Ranking up became super grindy, in other words no life the game to reach a high rank. From your little point by point progress, if you die once you lose all your gains. These are some really great guide builds because you actually tell people what they should be aiming for. A lot of the time people just say "look at my great kit, it has 40 vigour and 30 Dex" and don't explain what that means or why it's good. You really got me interested in building kits and actually made it fun now that I'm not "fumbling in the dark" not knowing what stats are relevant to take.

Yes, he plays well and he'll probably get a decent amount of good raids with that one kit before he steps on a landmine rogue or something. I'm just saying one good run does not pay for such an expensive build.

How do you deal with someone whos coming in close with their shield raised at you? I shot the legs but seemed like a waste of time because once he got up to me and got a swipe, for some reason I started getting extremely slowed and he just three shot me doing that.
You just kait, turn, shot, kait, turn, shot. If he is too close he might be in Sprint Range. Dont let him get close. Always make sure to have room behind you to kait him. If you dont, dont fight him in that area, run to a Room with Prio. When he chases, maybe trap the door.

Also, great idea with the door trap but it takes quite a long time incase they all closed. Definitely a great idea but also I'd have to use that trap perk for that because it's slow as well. I appreciate the tips though! That fight was in squire gear mode so I'm assuming it gets extremely different when you have movement speed and dex and stuff

I really think forceful shot/the push back skill distance should be based off a impact number. Like youre using a tiny ass bow and pusbinh people 10 feet back. each bow should have its own distance with s bow being the smallest and longbow being the farthest.
What’s cheaper warden with dex and max, or wanderer with agility and max? Wanderer attire I think is better for your build, but might be more expensive. Also since you’re using chase, against rogue if you think they go invis, you can pretend like you don’t know and wait for them to walk out invis and expose themselves, and only then shoot.

They explained the change a while ago but it never made it into the wipe patch. They want this season to be focused on pvp not treasure but they still got the numbers wrong on everything else. I like it being pvp focused as the other system doesn't have much skull involved. Almost anyone can get any rank

No they didn't, he's just being a drama queen. He's basically protesting the changes. He went from a top 3-4 class to a bottom 3 class during the era of the timmies to smash them and make it look like ranger was op when they desperately needed buffs, hence the armor pen changes. @@Ogier78 It ignores damage reduction and hitbox multipliers, such as legs/arms/torso/head, meaning on a ranger as long as you hit them, no matter where, you'll do good dmg. And because it's added dmg (on-hit effect) it scales the best with fire rate, hence all the action speed. As an example, in the video, shooting that pdr fighter (who got caught on the Rare trap) in the legs just tickles him without true phys dmg.
@@SlCKNESS_ True dmg doesnt ignore Hitbox Multipliers... everything obeys it. True dmg isnt really good for Arms/Leg dmg as well. Its good for bursting someone fast with headshots or Thorax. The only and solely reason TheLorr is using it, because he has a high frequency of Hits that trigger True dmg. Most of the time True dmg is bad af. Especially since it got nerfed to the ground. Its a super over hyped stat. +add phy, phy power and armor pen gets you way more dmg. Since it used to be cheaper to just get True dmg, it was abused. They tuned it down, cuz it got boring. Its the most overrated stat in the game. Go check the Damage Calcs yourself. As long as you dont hit someone over 5-6 times (a.e. Daggers, Survival bow) its bad. In one of his other videos he explains why he likes chase. It’s pretty good if you use it right. Point in case, at 15:47 in the video he opens a door, sees the chase footsteps, and backs out. Had he moved in without that he’s got a PDR cleric ready to judge or smite him, the cleric immediately moved in and swung his mace too. You can take the advantage back and create space or keep the fight neutral. Surv bow has a lot of arrows before it requires a reload anyway
I notice most rangers don’t run chase, but a lot of players that are very experienced from other classes love to run it. I personally run it whenever I play ranger and I have like a 7:1 solo kd on it. I think the info is just too powerful, yet intangible.
Worst take I have every seen in my entire life. Just delete DaD at this point. LOL - Demigod Ranger in all Seasons here. Chase used to be Enhanced Hearing but now they added Tracker on it. Enchanced Hearing is the solely Reason this was the Most Used Perk from the Top1% of rangers. Makes you go Cheat-Mode.

@@Ogier78 It ignores damage reduction and hitbox multipliers, such as legs/arms/torso/head, meaning on a ranger as long as you hit them, no matter where, you'll do good dmg. And because it's added dmg (on-hit effect) it scales the best with fire rate, hence all the action speed. As an example, in the video, shooting that pdr fighter (who got caught on the Rare trap) in the legs just tickles him without true phys dmg.

True dmg isnt really good for Arms/Leg dmg as well. Its good for bursting someone fast with headshots or Thorax.
The only and solely reason TheLorr is using it, because he has a high frequency of Hits that trigger True dmg.
Most of the time True dmg is bad af. Especially since it got nerfed to the ground. Its a super over hyped stat. +add phy, phy power and armor pen gets you way more dmg.
Since it used to be cheaper to just get True dmg, it was abused. They tuned it down, cuz it got boring.
Its the most overrated stat in the game. Go check the Damage Calcs yourself. As long as you dont hit someone over 5-6 times (a.e. Daggers, Survival bow) its bad.

In one of his other videos he explains why he likes chase. It’s pretty good if you use it right. Point in case, at 15:47 in the video he opens a door, sees the chase footsteps, and backs out. Had he moved in without that he’s got a PDR cleric ready to judge or smite him, the cleric immediately moved in and swung his mace too. You can take the advantage back and create space or keep the fight neutral. Surv bow has a lot of arrows before it requires a reload anyway
I notice most rangers don’t run chase, but a lot of players that are very experienced from other classes love to run it. I personally run it whenever I play ranger and I have like a 7:1 solo kd on it. I think the info is just too powerful, yet intangible.
Worst take I have every seen in my entire life. Just delete DaD at this point. LOL - Demigod Ranger in all Seasons here. Chase used to be Enhanced Hearing but now they added Tracker on it. Enchanced Hearing is the solely Reason this was the Most Used Perk from the Top1% of rangers. Makes you go Cheat-Mode.
