Damn that’s a big wheel gun. I have a Diamond D chest rig for my Ruger GP100. I’ve had it for about 8 or 9 years. It looks brand new still, super top quality and worth every penny. Thanks for sharing. I do like that removable flap as well.
The best way I have found to make leather waterproof is a product called “snow seal” . It’s somewhat similar to beeswax. You just apply it and use a hairdryer to heat it. It will turn to liquid and be absorbed into the leather. It will make the tan leather darker tan but it will have a rich color and finish.
Wow, I kinda dig it a little better w/the flap! Sure, it's far more practical for protection from the elements, etc like you mentioned, but it certainly looks great, too. 👍👍
Yeah I've been carrying my 460 PC s&W as a concealed carry out for the past 6 months or so. It's pretty easy to do as long as you have a smart carry or lightning carry holster under your pants
I know this video is more about the chest rig, but have you ever had any mechanical issues with the S&W internal locks? I'm very tempted to buy a 640 (my FFL has a great sale going right now and the 640 would suit so many of my CCW needs), but I can't get over my concern about the key lock malfunctioning, and I can't find a 640-1 in good condition on the used market.
What is it exactly about the wheel gun that you are so attracted too? Not trying to be negative I’m just genuinely curious. Is it the power of some of the rounds ? I personally have never been accurate with a revolver.
Honestly I think it's my perception of it being more reliable as a 'pocket gun'. Back in 2011 was when I began to carry a j-frame religiously and found that I really liked it over some of the other semi-auto pocket guns I tried (some failed/jammed). I believe I did a vid on that when I had a Colt Mustang XSP I believe. But other than that I do like the way revolvers look - the mechanics - the challenge to use them for CCW? - and finally I think I just became maybe 'bored' with semi-autos in a way. Now mind you 'behind the scenes' I do still train with a Glock 9mm and more recently yes red dot optics on pistols but...I enjoy the wheel gun (and 1911s!) more. The power factor does come into play at times but it's not something I focus on at all.
I'll have to agree on that. But I do enjoy this revolver a lot. 460 does a lot better out of my 7.5" and 10.5" but this is for recreational use. I do not hunt with them. I am sure the longer barreled 460mags do well in a hunting setting.

Fantastic review of the holster. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I’m interested in seeing how well the revolver is concealed when your jacket is over it.
haha not at all. It looks like I have a huge gut!!!
Are those black “ring” attachments plastic?
If so, are they not potential weak points for breakage?
I’m looking for a chest holster for my Redhawk 44

thanks man. It is holding up very well. But it will be put away as soon as the temps start going up.
Very nice setup my friend

Does the button being directly on the cylinder ever scratch your gun? Is the button inside the holster covered? Looks nice.
I got 1 for my 6” longslide trp 10mm with my initials and mag pouch. I pack it all the time

😀😊😀👍🏼
'Promosm' 🤘
That short 3.5” barrel robs the .460 of so much velocity you’re better off just carrying a .44 magnum.
