  • The meteoric rise and rise of Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has taken much of the country by surprise - even her parents, Dave and Bess, who are now willing to entertain the possibility she may one day live in The Lodge.
In this special episode of The Front from 2023, the senator's parents open up about the early life and times of Jacinta that shaped her into the leader she is today.

JNP is a great example of a resilent, strong, stoic modern Australian with a solid moral compass to boot. Easily the best thing to happen to our country in a while. Thank you for caring enough for all Aussies to stand up for what is important.

Jacinta first came to my attention after Albanese's FIFO PR trip in Alice Springs when she discussed the issues there and how to begin creating a solution. I was stunned by her common sense approach , abscence of political double speak and no BS. I hope I have the opportunity to elect her as PM sooner rather than later. Congratulations to her Mum and Dad, awesome job!

These sturdy decent parents have produced a great Australian who needs further elevation by all our communities. Clearly Australian of the Year but that ain’t going to happen in these times.

I had the privilege of meeting Dave, Bess and Jacinta in Alice Springs in 2018. They are extraordinary people. They are strong and they are real. Jacinta will be a leader that the Australian people can trust. She really cares about all Australians but she will make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged Aboriginals where no other leader has been able to. Though her mum did set the groundwork in that area.

love Jacinta she stood up for all Australians against the racist yes campaign. She showed a lot of courage and she will always have my respect , We need to get behind this woman at the next election

Jacinta has the respect of most Australians and her assessment of the voice as being an invoice that would not benefit the regional minority of aboriginals in the long run was correct
Aboriginals need to come into the 21st century where woman’s voices and opinions are to be valued. Outdated values that allow men to always dominate women like in the 40s 50s and 60s no longer represent the women of today regardless of the colour of their skin or ethnicity
