    Jacinta Price, you are inspirational. You tell the truth, the brutal truth that most people don't dare to talk about. You are a true leader in so many ways. And you seek to unite the country rather than divide it. Thank you.

    Wow, Jacinta Nampinjinpa Price. It is obvious how hard it is to juggle fairly your journey between two worlds. Yet you do it with such grace and understanding. You tell the truth without the politics and deceptions of so many that have given up on Australia, one country all together, for us all. You never cease to amaze with your depth of commitment to bring the best for our country.
    No to the Voice, yes to recognition, an I have replied to stand up and volunteer for the campaign to move forward in a democracy, and together.

    I think Jacinta hits the nail on the head when she says "indigenous people need to learn the tools of modern day survival." I'm 49yo...born in Kavieng, Papua New Guinea...and when I was about 5, my PNG mum and caucasian Australian dad, made the decision to bring their young family to the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria...dad's mum gave us half her property to build a home on...to start a new life. They chose Australia over PNG because they knew that us 3 kids...all of us, really... would get a better education and chance in life here. If I had grown up in New Guinea...my life would have taken a far less desirable trajectory, without a doubt. My life expectancy, alone, would have been less than what I have now. That simple, village lifestyle is not compatible with the modern world, unfortunately.

    I want Jacinta to be our next Prime Minister. She has it all that Australia need at present and in the future. I am so proud of her as an Australian. I just love listening to her. Jacinta speaks so much sense, she is hard to ignore, and is saying what most of us are thinking. Forget what the racist left are saying. Jacinta is a true inspiration and role model to any young Aboriginal girl or boy who is seeking hope, recognition and pride. And proof to them that we do care and anything is possible with hard work. The Liberal party need saving and I believe Jacinta is just what they and our country need.

      It is so hurtful that the yes campaign call those who are voting No racists, it’s such a cheap shot, implying we don’t care, Jacinta truly cares and what she is saying is hard to hear but sometimes that is exactly what needs to be said.

    I have no idea how Jacinta Price recieved her ideas, but she, more than most people, is in touch with reality, and has a clarity of perception, and a workable vision of what needs to happen in regard to native Australians which few seem to posses. Compassion can be a double edged sword. For example: if a drug addict is suffering because they can't get a fix, maybe you don't give them a fix because you feel compassion for them... maybe you need to help them cope with the discomfort in some other way... or maybe you need to let them suffer if that will help them kick the habit.

    Gucci Burney has been in charge of Indigenous Affairs for nearly 2 decades, in the last 14 years, $490 billion has been spent on her watch.
    Where has the money gone?

    • @BelloBudo007
      @BelloBudo007 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Exactly! There's no point asking Burney, as from what I see, she simply can not answer the most simple question.
      And why, given all the bodies supposedly looking after Indigenous people, aren't there reliable measures in place to protect the most vulnerable?

    • @SaintKimbo
      @SaintKimbo ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, She hasn't been "in charge" of Indigenous Affairs for 2 decades, but She has been in Politics for about that long, in various roles in Opposition and Power, both Federally and in the NSW Parliament, where She started.
      But, I get your point, which should be raised more often.
      The irony being that Burney and others, like Senator Pat Dodson and many others, who have been in the Indigenous Affairs racket for decades, are the very SAME people that are always telling us how bad the situation is, and that the SAME people should be installed on the 'Voice' Panel to tell us what they already KNOW !

    An old saying goes, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." This proverb is often used to illustrate the importance of teaching someone how to do something instead of simply doing it for them.

    • @SaintKimbo
      @SaintKimbo ปีที่แล้ว

      Isn't it easier if the Guy just gave you the fish every day?
      Obviously, if the Guy's got fish to give away, he's got enough to go around, why ruin a good thing?

    • @dantheman5222
      @dantheman5222 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SaintKimbo That's part of the point of the fisherman running out of fish to give away if our government just keeps spoon-feeding one race of people that race of people will always need spoon feeding

    • @SaintKimbo
      @SaintKimbo ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dantheman5222
      So, the Fisherman runs out of fish, so he teaches you how to fish so you can give HIM a fish everyday?
      I get it, he wants to kick back and relax, while you do all the work.
      So, that means you want the Indigenous Australians to do all the work, while the rest of us relax?
      I don't think bringing back slavery will go down too well, they tried it before.

    I think if as a nation and society we can work on inter generational trauma not just for indigenous communities but also in other communities that see such trauma inflicted in the family systems and children, then we may see an improvement for people across the board. Each and everyone of us is an important part to play in that. Jacinta is a voice of reason.

Money is not the answer, but action plans, for freeing Indigenous Peoples from sociological difficulties.

    Yep totally agree with you
    But remember if your getting a response
    Wether hostile or not something getting through
    It's normally upsetting the statis quo
    I think you are one of the best thing that's come out of the indigenous community
    Your tackling the hard things head on and refuse to back down or apologise for that
    Yes tough love needed on both sides indigenous and political parties
    Instead of everyone throwing hands up its to hard
    Then stick their heads in the ground and throw money at it to go away
    It'll never end until you attack the cause of the actions
    I believe that's what your doing attacking the cause and this causes issues for opponents
    Because they have no where to run and hide from truth and honesty regardless the pain it causing
    Cheers mate look after yourself as you can't help other if you get ill from this as well
    Just be carefull not to take on the 💩 thrown at you by opponents
    It their only weapon left and means your winning the arguments
    Showing more spine then so called government's and so called indigenous leaders
    Cheers mate

    It good to remember that you speak your truth... that ok and should be acceptable in a civil society. You are right to challenge people who affect/harm you and any child*** Economists have known that welfare is a problem as well as foreign aid it often rewards bad behavior that data shows that point but academia is more concern with emotion that truth currently
    I recommend Thomas Sowell for Economics of welfare it a good starting point

    In 1979, I was a Lecturer and Trainer with the Aboriginal Vocational Training Department of the Darwin Community College in the Northern Territory. I recall going to Wave Hill station to determine the training needs of the local indigenous people in that community. As our group walked around the small township, we were called over by an old black guy sitting under a tree. He asked what were were doing. My boss explained that we were there to carry out a Training Needs Analysis for the community. He said: " Good luck, people have been doing that for more than 100 years, and it still doesn't work, despite millions of dollars being spent on such programs all over Australia." He went on to explain that it is not in the aboriginal culture to change to any degree. He was correct then and the statement he made still stands today. He was Vincent Lingiari (Order of Australia recipient) and was an Australian Aboriginal rights activist of the Gurindji people. In his early life he started as a stockman at Wave Hill Station, where the Aboriginal workers were given no more than rations, tobacco and clothing as their payment.
    A landmark event that inspired national change for aboriginal people occurred on 23 August 1966, Vincent Lingiari led 200 courageous First Nations stockmen and their families to walk off Wave Hill Cattle Station in the Northern Territory protesting against the pay and work conditions. He received a successful outcome enabling his community through Native Title Claim to reclaim their land. He was born in 1908 and died in 1988.
    Money is not the answer, but the need to succeed is. Say NO to the Indigenous Voice to Parliament!!

    I firmly believe that the GAP exists, Aboriginal people suffer from being in remote locations without the facilities and resources that we in the cities are used to, Medical, dental, opto, other health, Bunnings, plumbers, carpenters, carpeters, JB Hifi, Kmart, target, woolies, coles, you name it they probably don't have it.
    I firmly believe that the GAP cannot be closed, regardless of the government of the day, or amount of money that is thrown at the problem.
    Europeans/white/asian living in remote locations do not have the same social issues and do not suffer from the GAP as much as Aboriginal because of our upbringing and education. Europeans/white/asian living in remote locations also do not have the same social problems that Indigenous have.
    The solution is not to support the Indigenous culture of, gum leave burning, dancing, face painting, dancing, dotty pictures and art, but to invest in education of the youth, train them to do something, anything, drive a nail, cut a piece a of wood, lay a brick, plumb some pipe, stitch a wound, cook European/white food in a kitchen, if there clever enough, to be lawyers, nurses, doctors. There has to be something to aim for other than just being Aboriginal or a footy player or going to uni to study Indigenous studies.

    Jacinta is great, a nice half English girl who speaks truth but nothing will change until the establishment recognises you're dealing with a low IQ people who have low impulse control, no capacity to delay gratification even if it means sexually abusing your children, powerful proclivity towards predatory behaviour, an obsession with vengeance, an inability to experience compassion other than as a proto-emotion which is fleeting. Those who come into the cities an adopt our European culture are doing fine generally, but out in the sticks if half of what I hear is true then they are existing as the lowest form of humanity.

    So many Australians are so frustrated we don't want to see this happening but when we have an entire industry of people making money out of Aboriginal poverty is so hard. We really need to get rid of all the committee's all of the hangers on all of the people that are offended so they don't actually have to do any real work having endless meetings and go out the bush and talk to the elders . Basically all we've got for a trillion dollars is that they want to be called first nations that's about as far we've got ?

    I see a lot of parallels here in the United States.

    3:11 welfare dependent people are every colour and ethnicity. Australian wide issue. Some have generations of welfare dependence.

    I fully agree, the weĺfare system has turned Aussies soft and weak....and taken away their drive. That counts for all aussies white and black.⚡️❤ give them tough love and they will start loving their own lives and respecting themselves.

    Jacinta is a truth teller, extroardinaire, we need her as Prime Minister, on so many levels. No doubt about that. Voting No

    White Australians also lived in poverty. I was one. My Dad worked but only just made ends meet so please acknowledge that it was NOT just the aboriginals but white Aussies too.

    I hear the despair in Jacinta's voice. For too long the Aboriginal people have been allowed to wallow in dependency.

    So interesting, what Jacinta is saying is very taboo. She’s not allowed to say this amongst the Indigenous elite so you can imagine how only their voice to a Parliament would be enshrined. Not the rich tapestry that makes up Indigenous culture nor it’s dissenters.
