I have nothing but sympathy for Jen, Devon maliciously lied to her face. He clearly had no real interest in her and just wanted to win the show. Sam M, is the white guy, the one that kept saying the main thing is the main thing, he's the one that kept arguing with Devin, He is the jerk that said Daisy or Maria and forced Jenn up that tall building when she was scared.
But Devin is sociopathic because he can use his words and wits to fool even most of the audience watching that he loved her. With Sam, it was pretty obvious he was just in it for lust and clout.
Jenn can do so much better! Devin just got the attention he never had before, got the confidence from her and then dumped her to see what other girls he can get. Now he's in player mode and is soon gunna be regretting it when he realizes the girls don't want this player. Hopefully karma comes for him and a chick breaks his heart.

My guess is that there will be plenty of women who think he's hot and that what happened to Jenn would never happen to them. I stopped watching after episode 2 after learning from reality Steve she was picking Devon. I did not like him at all he is a narcissist , he sure did like to brag about himself, he was also very rude with the other bachelors.

How did we end up with this dumpster fire of men after having Joey and his wonderful season? Devin is major red flags. He love bombed Jenn constantly and led her on about his feelings with empty promises and then gaslit her when he wanted to "leave" and got her to admit she loved him. All the guys this whole season gave the vibe that they weren't really here for Jenn and this whole season felt disingenuous.

She dodged a bullet. When asked why he loved her he kept on saying it was how she made him feel. There was nothing about her specifically that he could name about her. It was always about him and what she did for him.
Many men and women don't realize what "love" really is. When you go on a show or fall in love with someone, the first couple weeks and months are all "shiny and new" with dopamine and adrenaline running. But you dont have that 24/7 every day. You see older couples that have been married for 20, 30, 40 years who are happy and they will tell you "love" is beyond that initial attraction. It about building positive memories, spending quality time together, supporting each other and fostering each other individually and as a unit.
