What kind of pencil did you use on the interfacing? And how fragile are these wings overall? Would making the base (not the wire) doubled on each side help sturdy it? Thank you😊

Any suggestions for the wire? The craft store only had thin jewelry making material. What gauge is it?

About how many feathers did you use for this pair of wings? I am currently making wings that are a little wider than my shoulders ( about 17 or 18 inches) and I'm not sure if a 100 feathers would be enough not too little.

I haven't personally used faux feathers but don't see why not :) I think you'd just want to be more careful with your gluing or stitch them on? Have a look at bird wings and that will give you a guide on the placement of the feathers. I would use an interfacing like what i used in the video as a base for the feathers to be glued/stitched onto.
