I'm sorry to hear that, thank you for sharing your story Jenya. Growing up without ones parent can sometimes feel like one is beginning life a couple of meters behind the starting line compared to everyone else. But you've already gotten this far in life and there's is no telling what your future holds. Growing up without your parents wasn't your decision to make, but whatever you decide on doing for the rest of your life is. I wish you all the best and I hope that you can be a pillar of strength for others like yourself. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
I grew up in a foster home and still am in one, my mom passed away when I was 3 and I still don’t know my dads name, I was abused and neglected my whole life I feel misunderstood by everyone.
I'm so sorry to hear that Larry, thank you for sharing. I hope you're doing okay. Your particular story may be different, but please know that you're not alone. I make these videos because I can relate to the topic at hand on some level too and there's hundreds out there who feel the same. I know it's difficult at times, but let's focus on trying to make our future better than our past. Thank you for your support!
It's hard, we are plundged into some of the greatest responsibilities life can offer. Without support and understanding, we feel further isolated and disadvantaged. But I promise you, if you can push yourself and overcome these obstacles. Push through the pain and the fear, you'll become the kind of hero this world needs.
When I was 8, my Dad killed my Mom. He was in a state of psychosis and suffers from schizophrenia. That was 23 years ago. It’s definitely hard. There’s a period in your early 20’s when you’re busy and working a lot where you sort of “forget”, but at 31 years old, I feel like I just started to grieve my Mom. You feel their absence in every single aspect of life, you always feel alone like your safety net is you and you absolutely cannot fail, you cannot need help or need the normal things kids need from their parents.
grew up without parents soon as I was born I was a bastard and grew up in foster care my aunt took me in abused me then went to my other aunt same thing grandma abuse to and I have been to 12 other foster homes 3 group homes 1 treatment centre and he life is fine been bullied my mother said I was better off dead said it back and month later she died my father never met him and i know I'm going to be ok I'm going to change this world but first build myself up and make me the best self
Thank you for the support and feedback @cut. I haven't planned any other Top Boy videos atm, but I might do a couple of more videos as soon as I've watched Season 1 and 2.
@@TheLearningCurveX I just rewatched season 1 and 2. I feel like they're a must watch and you'll see how much characters change from then to season 3 especially Sully
