      Too bad it never amounted to anything so there wasn’t any point other than plot armour. Should’ve just killed him tbh. Or at least in the finale because Kallus doesn’t even do anything for anyone anyway haha. Filoni really has a problem not being able to kill characters that do an ounce of good at some point despite them having completed their narrative service but no issue at all at killing at wasting villains before their time quite often whilst under developing them like with Saxon

      @cheeseninja1115 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      That scene always made me happy because it showed that if you knew what to look for you could prevent the jedi with their need of hand motion

    • @kereminde
      @kereminde 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@cheeseninja1115 I don't think they NEEDED it, per se. Episode II showed two instances where it was subtle ("You don't want to sell me death sticks.") and there was no hand motion (when Anakin was trying to force the shapeshifter assassin to talk and only failed because of a poison dart). And Luke did it once in 'Return of the Jedi', using only a pointing finger.
      I suppose it may be presumed to be a trait which shows exceptional training (Kenobi) or power (the Skywalkers).
      Then again, that's just a bit of over-analysis. Frankly, Star Wars has always started to fall apart when you start picking at the finer details. (Or just try to think about things from outside the scope/era they were made in.)

    • @TheGreater-ScopeVillain
      @TheGreater-ScopeVillain 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Indeed. And not only that, but she was skilled enough in martial arts to defeat and nearly kill Rex (who is arguably the greatest clone veteran) in single combat. In my personal opinion, Arihnda Pryce is one of the most underrated imperials.

    • @SaeParsan
      @SaeParsan หลายเดือนก่อน

      it makes alot of sense when you read the thrawn books because she has been lied to, manipulated and taken advantage of so much that she became the pinnacle of ruthlessness.

    • @SaeParsan
      @SaeParsan หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@TheGreater-ScopeVillain Agreed, it's a cool detail from the Thrawn book that Price had pretty good martial arts training because she didn't feel safe on Coruscant. That being said I'm gonna have to disagree on Rex being among the best vets as Cody was a better martial artis and the commando's were more effective but I get your point, there are no slouches in the GAR and as a clone Rex has extensive training and experience.

    Lyste was the Needa of Rebels; technically a fascist but also honorable enough that you feel bad when he gets screwed over by his fellow Imperials.
    Also, take note that the rebels don't fully trust Kallus yet but they still risked sending Ezra to get him while the Empire didn't send anyone to collect Kallus on the Geonosian moon and he'd served them for years at that point.
    I think that part of the reason most of the uniformed Imperials aren't shown in combat is because most of them are Navy. Veers is Ground Forces and Kallus is ISB, meaning they're more in the thick of things and probably have to keep in shape more. Pryce is the exception (mostly because she was based on Irena Spalko from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull).

    This was a fun episode as it centers more on Kallus on trying to keep his Rebel identity hidden without Thrawn and the Galactic Empire knowing.
    On top of that, it's great to see Colonel Yularen making an appearance and the only Rebels episode where Tom Kane appears. Still, watching the episode again makes me even more saddened on what happened to Tom Kane last year due to the stroke and now has officially retired this year due to the stroke from October 2020 not wearing off due to an illness called Apraxia.
