Aman, speed runs are my favorite content of yours - primarily in the 1400-2000 range (basically the range of opponent I can relate to; struggle against... and get the most satisfaction seeing outplayed). I know you won't read this, heck, it's possible no one ever will. But dude, ANY out of the box concept for a speedrun would be dope. The standard opening speed-runs get stale; I'd love to see an a4 h4 speedrun (as first two moves), or waste-a-tempo speedrun (give opponent two or three tempos with reverse night moves), or something like that. Basically, games where you (largely) throw theory out the window, and start with a quirky disadvantage. Queen sacs are just too extreme; too "memeish", too hard to relate to; too reliant on opponent blunders/flagging to recover from. Why not a piece sac? Or a4/h4 first move every game? Or something like that. Something that creates a clear disadvantage to give your opponent confidence, yet minor enough that a GM like yourself can slowly chip away and come back from? That would be so satisfying, I'd literally compare the content to be on par with a high level UFC event in terms of watch value. Anywho. Big fan mane, keep it up
28:55 crazy game right there. Don't really know what to get out of it other than being amazed. Almost every move you made i didn't anticipate, pretty sure it was lost and you still made it.
Shouldn't make fun of the guy at 1:22:27. He's right. I was just watching other streamers on a 32" monitor and then when I started watching this video on my phone I noticed the board was definitely smaller.
Top chess content! I used to watch Gotham, then moved to Danya, but this is the best, even though the music initially put me off when I discovered this channel
Bro same honestly. Dude's mad underrated as a content creator, and he's extremely funny. Like he's had me in tears laughing before; more than once... one of the only creators to ever do so
Game 1 Knight takes knight on D5 for your opponent was a pretty defining point in the game in terms of positioning it seems, I'm not that great at chess, but it's always fun watching someone that's actually good at the game.
I think the problem is that you can't guarantee e5 on move 1 from your opponent. Most of these 'Speedruns' are set up so that no matter what, you get into the system. On lichess (don't have chess coms numbers) white responds with e5 60% of the time. So the other 40% you can't really get a king's gambit set up. I think Eric played the King's Gambit a bit in his e4 speedrun.
Thank you for all your content Aman!
