Hi. I need more details about validating train and tram tickets. I'm travelling to Germany next week, most of the trips by DB train that I'm making were booked online, do I need to print and my DB tickets validated before getting on the train. Tram tickets for Munich will be bought from a ticket machine.
Maybe to correct the part around 4:00, both the S-Bahn and U-Bahn don't run all through the night (for now). The last journeys towards the end points are around 1:30 AM. On weekends, additional trains (called "Nachtschwärmer") are travelling around 2:30 AM. However, every rule needs it exception. Line S8 runs between the western part of the city and Munich Airport all night but with a very stretched interval (talking about every 40mins to hourly service). Within Munich, you may use NightTrams or NightBuses. On weekdays, a solid network runs in an hourly interval, while on weekends it is really extended (both on the intervals and the network itself).
Hi, many "depends on". I would buy Bayern Ticket and it will take you to Lindau. Than you have a lot of options, depending where exactly you need to go.
