  • Infosys employees are filmed boarding their company transport services in Bengaluru in the 1990s. The employees are also filmed inside the buses while some are boarding in front of the Infosys headquarters.
This was filmed in the 1990s when buses and bullock carts ran side by side on the streets of the city.
02:08 A bullock cart with passengers runs past the Ashok Leyland bus carrying Infosys employees.

Sir you are absolutely right in those days of 1970s 1980s and 1990s buses of Tata and Ashok Leyland were mostly powered by Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel Engine which Produced a deep throaty roaring sound which was really very enchanting to listen 🙏🙏

Now also it is roaring but the engine moulds have nvh. Protection... So crank shaft sound won't come.

From 2005 onwards all buses fit with Turbo charged Engines as mandatory. So heavy vehicles roaring sound had been minimized.

What a beautiful roaring sound of AL 6.65 Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel Engine which is the Licensed version of British Leyland 0.400 Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel Engine which is really refreshing and emotional to hear the typical deep roaring sound of such an engine originally sourced from British Leyland😪🙏🙏🙏

At 1:59 mark, the roaring sound of the Leyland engine reminds me of the old Kerala S.R.T.C green express buses.

Wow, nice nostalgia. I believe this would be around 2000-01. The corporate headquarters building was built around that time only.

0:29 KA 01 F 1629 - BMTC's Janapriya Vahini running services for Infosys Employees was registered on 14 June 2000 in Koramangala (Bengaluru Central) RTO. So this video is definitely in 2000 or 2001.
    KA 01 F 1643 on 21 June 2000.
One more fact, all transport vehicles (here BMTC buses) as shown here used to have white number plates with black text until 01 February 2002 and all private vehicles used to have bkack number plates with white text until 01 July 2002.

During those days ,these were called Puspak luxury buses who used to charge 2/- each stop and we all used to feel proud whenever we travelled in these buses..later it was collaborated with private companies for profit sharing business with BMTC

wow what an amazing video of the 90's..
    1) Look at the vehicle maintenance back then and see now. I guess its getting worsen day by day.
    2) People standing and waiting patiently and see the era now...
    3) I wish god uses the remote like in the movie CLICK and rewinds a bit and make humans more responsible.
I know it cannot happen but still...wish it does

A Hyundai santro zip drive first model and A Hyundai accent in this video. Both were launched in between 1999 to 2000.... This video is exactly early 2000s or mid 2000s
I found soo many old videos showing some real photos with dates of 15th century also when was the Camera invented ? why these stupid uploaders upload videos like this with wrong dates is that for view's 🤨😠😡

Yeah you are right when i sawed Hyundai Accent I taught how can it become 90's video. Santro was launched in september 1998 and Accent was launched in October 1999 and also in these video private vehicles have black number plate so it may be exactly 2000 or 2001 video.

No private vehicles has black number plates and public transport has white number plates. So it's 2000 or 2001.
