I hope people who have a fear of death watch this and feel a little better, knowing that they aren’t alone and that there is helpful ways to manage the fear……you ladies are simply amazing for looking out for your TH-cam community. Keep up your wonderful work educating, and keep being your lovely selves 🖤
The best way to remove the fear of dying for me was being involved in the process of hospice for friends and family. Seeing how disease and symptom progression is managed. Seeing the care they received. My Mum in law passed on Wednesday after 2 weeks in hospice. Watching the nurses, doctors and care assistants tend to her, communication with family and watching her peaceful passing definitely helped. It also helped my children understand the process when the cause is disease progression. Absolutely invaluable experience to the point I would recommend those who fear or wonder look at volunteering with hospice care.
Part two. I don't doubt I've said this before, but it's not the dying that worries me, it's the process. Will it hurt? And the likes. Yes, that's selfish in a way, coz you're only thinking about yourself, and those left behind are equally important. When 'you' go, that's it. But there's not only 'you' involved in the process. And completely random, you talking legacy: I don't have one and if I did, I doubt there'd be anyone interested in it. I may have said this before: memory like a sieve, but when I was but a child, I lived in an area with a lot of sandstone: or so it seemed. I 'hand carved' with the most rudimentary tools, a heart out of a piece: gave it to my mother, and she still has it, over 40 years later.
Oh MY!! I well remember grandma saying, "make sure you've got clean underpants on!" Before we'd leave for town. When asked why she told us, "in case you die you'll not be all messy".. and I'd always point out we'd purge our bowels anyway, so what was the point? I had no idea it was an actual fear but that is fascinating to know. Thanks so very much, ladies.
I had a client who only had 3 weeks to live after a sudden diagnoses of terminal small cell lung cancer. I know I helped her a lot but her clergy was what she really needed to really come to terms with it and be at peace with it.
I use to fear it much more until my brother began working at a funeral home. He has taught me so much and they are so compassionate there as are you guys. I’m not as afraid now that I have more conversations and knowledge of what happens. So glad you guys talk about these topics. Great video!!❤🎉
Thank you 😊 And thank you for sharing your story, it's great to hear how you overcome your fear. You are totally correct to talk about death more so it's let taboo and more normalised and knowledge is power. Take care 💜❤️
So glad you have covered this It's my biggest fear Not so much being dead but the journey to death I've seen family members pass and it wasn't very peaceful I think it might be pain I fear the most
Sometimes it may look like the person is in pain or distressed and they are actually at peace. I have sat with hundreds and each one is different. Most are at peace.🤍
I volunteer - at my local cemetery. A small group of us meet two Tuesdays a month to weed graves that have plants growing on them so can't be sprayed, sweep leaves off ledgers and tidying. We never remove any mementos. It is formal volunteering for the Council, which runs the cemetery. If this is available, maybe working with a friendly group would help someone feel more comfortable with the reality that everyone has a finite life as we know it.
Putting my serious head on, for a moment or two. A person with a fear of dying and death in general makes a good in-road by watching you and videos like yours. That's a step in the right direction. I fear so I will watch, within reason, what it is I fear and what happens afterwards. Death Dualas (or however it's spelt) are a good way to go too. Part two to follow.
Aloha T&T, thanks for this video many fear this topic. I feel that the body dies, but the soul lives on. We fear the unknown, death is inevitable, it comes to us all.
I can see it , if you're a young person who has a terminal diagnosis , and is told you're going to die with in a certain time . If you've lived a good life, you should not be that much afraid of dying. My opinion
Death is nothing to fear for me cos I'm a Christian & have a relationship with Jesus so I know where my soul is going & I know I'll see my dad again in heaven cos he also was a Christian
I definitely have this and it only started once I had my first child but when I had my second (and last ) child almost 6 years ago who was born with additional and medical needs sent it overbored as I fear of going while there young no one will take care of them like I do which every parent fears I guess even after children are all grown an have children of there own
Me too. I was going to get cremated but my husband went way too early and he wanted to be buried so I guess I’m going to be buried. I want to be with him. I suppose we won’t care once we are gone, but it’s our alive minds that are so scared and can’t stop thinking about it.
Death shouldn’t be taboo anymore. In the UK it’s terrible and a lot protect children from going to funerals and not speaking about it. Some funeral directors will take the time to talk to you as well. I have popped in to a couple of them in the past and they have made a cup of tea and a chat.🤍

Well done girls. Sums up what I’ve long said, “truly live while you’re alive so it counts”.

I don’t want a funeral service & no flowers just burial service & horse & carriage.
🤗❤️
I’m frightened of getting buried
Can I ask what is the fear? Buried alive, is that the concern?
Me too. I was going to get cremated but my husband went way too early and he wanted to be buried so I guess I’m going to be buried. I want to be with him. I suppose we won’t care once we are gone, but it’s our alive minds that are so scared and can’t stop thinking about it.
That is very hard for me I have found my 2 husbands on the floor from cardiac issues.
We are so very sorry to hear 😞
Please look after yourself 🙏🏻💜💜
I have this so bad and it causes panic attacks.
🫶🏼
Try and seek support to help you through this. Take good care 💚💚
