Glad you got it runnin! Pull starting it was a good idea. We also have a JD 2010. It's our only tractor right now. We need it for cutting grass and dragging large branches and logs to burn piles. Y'all have a beautiful family.
@@MaynardFamilyHomestead Our oldest helped me pull start ours recently after opening up the fuel system. We tried too many times and the clutch started smoking!
Good job, I have a 2010 and I know they can be a beast to prime sometimes, so I put an electric pump on just for priming purposes mainly, I have to glow it for 20-40 seconds & give her a sniff of ether or whatever as I hit the starter and she takes a few winds to kick in but fires up a bit better this way & I keep my finger on the glow plugs for a bit longer as she warms up. Cheers
Nice tractor you have there I been working in a restoration of a 2010 2.7 liters diesel here in Mexico and I can’t find the right way to synchronize the fuel pump and timing I wonder if you could help me . greetings from Mexico! Cool channel
@@MaynardFamilyHomestead Yeah, have all three but keeps backfiring through carb. Can't seem to get the timing correct. Prior owner did a lot of "improvements" that apparently aren't right.
@@MaynardFamilyHomestead After dealer consultation, we're leaning towards the possibility prior owner replaced oil pump and didn't get it back in time which also puts distributor in an unfixable condition.

Man I wish I could, but I don’t know much about 2010s beyond the basics. Thanks for watching our videos!
Shucks, was hoping yours was gas! I have a 2010 gas, can't get it to start.
That stinks! Yeah I don’t know anything about the gas version, except that it needs gas, air, and spark to run. :-)

@@johnwallacemcclure1143 lovely! That is frustrating, and generally they wont tell you when you buy it even if they knew what was wrong.
