excellent stuff once again. Amazing scenery. Treacherous stretch of road though. Mud and dust is one thing, but a shaking like that is quite another. Looks like it was well worth it though. continued safe travels....
What fun to see sperm whales up close. We normally just see Humpbacks from our cabin near Bonavista. They occasionally come through the tickle between South Bird Island and the shore just down our lane way. On rare occasions the wind drops on a very calm day and you can hear the whales spouting - very magical indeed.
