- Here is an in-depth video showing the process of how I have wired up the 12v lighting system for the ebike. I start right from the beginning of figuring out how everything is going to fit, then onto the wiring and explaining how things are connected and finally fit it to the frame and show it in action!

Can you make a plug and play kit for purchase? I have the display, I just need everything else.
I'm sure there are people out there who would love that but it's way too much effort for me and I simply don't have the time! Plus availability of parts is constantly changing and each bike has different ways of routing wires so only way really is to do it yourself but use others as examples...
I think those indicators are nor bright enough. I tried few of them from ebay or aliexpress but they all were crap and i went back to normal bulbs as they where just dangerous. I guess 99% of inexpensive ones are crap.
These ones are fairly bright tbh plus I've added some buzzers to make the whole system more noticeable. As long as they are emarked and light up, that's all they care about
Youre obviously not in Europe, but here flashers should be 60HZ and not faster than 70HZ, so half a second on and half a second off is spot on. Edit: read the comments and flasher was built into your headlight!
MSVA manual in the UK says must flash 'between 60 and 120 times per minute'. The indicator in the headlight you're referring to is just an orange DRL so can't show direction - also even if each half of the headlight flashed individually they would be too close together.
How did you get on with your second controller seeing as it was broken?
Had to go back to the original one mate as I needed to give the other one back. I've set the current to 170A to compensate and put up with the delay when first turning the bike on.

9:30 you want some Velocity stack and larger holes for ventilation to be better but even then I bet that fan isn't needed but something there for incase
He showed how he couldn’t even touch the heatsink without the fan a couple of seconds before so pretty sure its needed
Nah it got way to hot for passive cooling and fluid dynamics is a bit too far for this project :)

My bike died after apply the brakes the regen kicks in and is gone half a second later and the display has gone out and will not power on anymore. Any ideas? I'm thinking the regen spike may have killed the display.

If you have a sabvoton display, I've heard some older ones have a component that can blow when using regen with a 72v battery... Best solution is probably to buy the latest version of the display whatever that is.
Not a Sabvoton controller but a risinmotor 72v 100 amp one using the same TFT 750c display

Well that will suck if I can't get a replacement and have to get a whole new system cause I can't. I have the same frame but I had to cut the controller cover on the bottom so the heatsink was exposed, that and controller was like 4mm taller than the cover but looked really nice after it was finished.
Did you k ow they make flasher relays? May be easier than an arduino.
My lights came with an integrated one which saved alot of hassle 🤣
I just bought turn lights that only need a 12v power source that flash on their own real easy no flasher needed just a fuse. It's made my 12v system real simple and all I need is a 4 fuse block and run my wires.
You could easily use a flasher relay instead, but I used an arduino so I could adjust the timings and perhaps add some extra functionality in the future.
