Basic step building? We've got two steps down from the back deck and also want to build pretty much the same to go over the ones in the garage coming out of the house. Simple 2 x 4 stuff. This was great for making a shopping list for the new house, too. Eli will be building a lot of the things we want (planter boxes, the steps) and has good basic knowledge from set building at St. John's, but we have limited tools and I wasn't sure what to be shopping for. Thanks for doing this series, it has been a HUGE help!
I inherited a radial arm saw that's sitting in my garage. This is one particular type of power tool that I have had zero exposure to in the past. Any good tips or tricks for using a radial arm saw, or any good advice for projects or types of cutting that it's the perfect tool to use? Thanks!
