Another great video Dan. I'll be back in Medellin next month. I might go to Guatapé but as I'm now 50+ years old 650 steps is part of the past for me. "Enjoy it while you can" as they say.
Here's a brief culture/language lesson. One of the interesting things about visiting different Spanish-speaking countries is noticing the different uses of "usted" the formal version of "tu". This is often difficult for English speakers since English eliminated the formal version of "you"--which was "thee"--a few centuries ago.
In Mexico it's culturally very important to understand when to call someone "tu" and when to call them "usted". After more than 20 years in Mexico I'm still learning. However, in Spain, "usted" has all but disappeared and "tu" is used almost exclusively.
Colombia is the exact opposite of Spain. Almost everyone is called "usted". Other Spanish-speakers find it hilarious to hear Colombians use "usted" when talking to their siblings. Many even use it when talking to their dog. If you've seen the Netflix series "Narcos" Pablo Escobar uses "usted" when talking to his young son. That's unheard of in most Spanish-speaking countries.
Just thought you might find this interesting. I was an English teacher for many years and language is one of my favorite things to observe and study.

An art museum attached to the restaurant. Beautiful stores. Home to stone row where the majority of millionaires once lived now it’s shops and restaurants. Bike rentals so you can take the trails and discover a waterfall. Best Sicilian pizza ever. Murder mystery bed and breakfast inn. An opera house. The coolest jAil tour closed in 1970 much much more so walkable. The Molly McGuire restaurant has entertainment in the summer. The most beautiful fall foliage display.❤️

The USA is so big it’s hard to say, depending what part of the country you’re in. I’ll give you a few towns to escape to: Asheville, NC; Charleston, SC; Key West, FL; and I have to be honest, not sure what’s going on west of the Mississippi River; maybe Lake Tahoe might qualify in CA/NV. Perhaps the Grand Canyon in AZ; maybe some other national parks like Yosemite in CA
