It is kind of ironic that I am watching this show on British news, which is mostly unimportant to a Californian. The total opposite of local news. But so well presented that despite having little grasp of British politicians, nuances, etc. I am very entertained. I would much rather watch this than my local news. Just this morning my local news was about the ghost of a white goat... Seriously. A ghost. A goat ghost. It wasn't even remotely as cool as this may sound...
You think that’s bad. We had a news report that went on for two days about a Bat that flew into a pharmacy and terrorised the staff to the degree they fled out on to the street screaming----it’s just a fucking bat not an alien from Mars or wherever yet it was news for 2 days. How dumb is that
Dylan Moran on UK political parties - "Labour are really annoying and square, "let's not have that other slice of cake just yet", Conservatives are not not very sophisticated but at least we know where they stand on issues, "what's this? Should we fuck it or eat it? Let's do both" or you could be a Liberal who say, "Well things are a little bit like this AND a little bit like that so let's do whatever you say!"
While I love Lewis Black, I don't think it's fair, Mitchell is perhaps the perfect mix of Black and Stewart. Just saying. Mitchell serves up his wit with due anger, but is so much less reliant on it than the fact that he's crazy dry and well, witty. I wish there were more of him, or at least more of Mitchell's work.
I actually have a good solution to the stadium issue... But being a Yank I don't think they'd like my clever take on replacing the track with another tier of seating and dropping the field 20 feet to make way.
