Just picked up Bulova's reissue of the Super Seville in the gold w/ white dial and that's defiantly my summer watch whenever i go out now, i love it. Defiantly need to grab a Tsuyosa at some point XD

My 2 yo F91 accidentally went through a wash/dry laundry cycle in January. Absolutely no effect.
It's better now.
Last autumn I justified the purchase of a Squale 1521 Blue Ocean Polished by telling myself that it was going to be my summer watch. As you'd expect, it's excellent in that role and a great watch in general, but by the time summer actually arrived, the novelty had worn off somewhat because I had owned it for close to 9 months already. So I decided I needed something new. In comes the Invicta 8929OB; the gold case, black dial sub homage. It's so much fun and the gold is actually amazing out in the sun. So for now I've got my summer watch bases covered (especially since summer is never a very long season around here!), but those Roue chronographs do keep appealing to me...... Maybe next year lol

That Straton watch is an absolute banger! It's exactly the type of design you can only get from a microbrand - big, bold, overblown, brilliant colors. I love it, but I had a long struggle over which color variant I should take. In the end I decided on the blue-orange version. Usually I don't spend that much money on a watch but this was love at first sight. Thanks for the review and the coupon. ;-)
BTW: I own the mustard F-91W and it is definitely an attention grabber at a beach party.^^

literally wearing the tiffany F91w right now, the color is so good. It's one of the few watches that has ever gotten comments from watch muggles. I've also got the orange and would love the green but that one is a unicorn in the states. The beige grey is also insanely cool

As an owner of the rose gold, red dial Citizen Tsuyosa - I can report it does not disappoint. In fact, it over delivers on most reasonable expectations. Great fit/finish, top notch bracelet, superb tone to the metal, and that red dial makes it very versatile. So many options in this line make it, IMO, the budget Aqua Terra alternative - and I say that as an Omega Acolyte.
Is the Rose gold plated or tone? I mean is it real rose gold covering the stainless steel or just rose gold tone?

I just bought my "summer watch" I wanted a Tsuyosa small Second but guess what I ended up buying another Seiko, the 5 which is kind of the new SNXS, don t get me wrong the Tsuyosa is a great watch but it's large and heavy, so not summer friendly IMO. Want a Citizen anyway? Well the baby blue Super Titanium which a friend of mine just got fits that purpose way better with more water resistance and being way lighter
Summer or winter or monsoon, I can’t think of wearing a metal watch with bracelet when I’m on a holiday, on a beach, hiking etc.. My default choice is a resin G-Shock, preferably one of the ‘G-Squad’ models.

@@TopTierTicker well yes those are always great. I got the teal and orange one last year because I live in Florida so the colors work, but I was thinking more of the SN0118s on the rubber straps. I really like the mint chocolate.

I got a Citizen C7 instead of a tsuyosa. It’s the anti-hypebeast option and costs half as much when available.
I do really enjoy the look of that watch... Just not a fan of the clasp or crystal. That makes the Tsuyosa a better option IMO.
I love Mr. Jones watch designs but their lugs are sooo weird. Thats the only thing I don't really like about them.
I completely agree. The case is super weird.
If they did some normal cases, they'd be great for daily wear. But as is, just occasion wear pieces for me
