Think back to when you were new at the game, sometimes it is legitimately not obvious to you what you are doing wrong so your only explanation is your teammates are messing up. You cannot have a growth mindset if you don't believe you can improve. So the only thing you can do is channel your frustration at other people. I think this bronze player's attitude is abhorrent, but I can empathize with at least feeling confused as to why you are not winning games despite making some good plays.
I've been having that with Tank recently. Got to Diamond this season and it went well for a little while, but then this last week it's like I loose 2 out of every 3 games, maybe 3 of 4. Not been feeling it. Still diamond for now, and I can accept I played poorly in a couple, but I've also had games where I was straight up diffed by rank. There was a clear skill diff between us that showed why he was T500 and I was only D4.

As a support main, I get tanks like him a lot in QP. Then they immediately start blaming both the supports for not pocketing their insanely stupid decisions. It's like these tank are completely oblivious that people are targeting supports first. Stop putting yourself in positions where your supports can't heal you because they'll be immediately picked off. They're in their own little world or something, they think I'm a fatty with a ton of health, I'm alive, I'm putting pressure on their front line, I'm carrying! Then they have the nerve to flame us in chat (always the supports for not pocketing, never the dps whos fcking got 9 and 12 on the board) Even when my healing is the largest number on the board, more healing than the tank has damage...they still flame. It's so frustrating.

Late but as a support player this would be the easiest avoid as teammate of my life. Playing like this makes the job harder. Yes tanks are big, bulky, and do big damage but if the enemy dps are behind the team or if the team needs help with a fight, sometimes it's best to take them out before worrying about the tank. Keep the squad alive so thay way we can support and take the enemy out together. And don't run off by yourself then complain about heals.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but I've seen more big ego tanks than dps in my rank (I'm in bronze and I'm a support main). The amount of times there will be some tank that will complain about no heals when they don't play cover, w right into the enemy team, los the heals constantly, and ignore the ping of the flank that's on me and my support teammate is astronomical. I heal the tank when I can but it's legit sometimes better to prioritize dps because the tank consistently feeds, so if our dps gets a pick or two, maybe we actually might have a chance when our tank is legit throwing 🤷
@@shinymimikyu6664 because they don't have the game sense to know to back out. They think its up to the supports to heal them through their bad decision making.

This is why mei is such a good pick for low Elo. She is hard to kill, can punish bad position and isolate targers. She is also kinda tanky. She cant outpace a tank, but can use her kit to control some space, especially against lower elo players. Its why low rank players hate her.
@@FoxExcessbro hes saying its why low tier players hate her and its doesn’t mean they’re the only ones he’s just pointing out why they might. Don’t english so well do you?
*Loses 30 games in a row* "I refuse to believe that I am bad." Bro if you lost 30 games, the common denominator is you. You deserve Bronze. Sometimes games aren't winnable and you'll go on losing streaks even if you do well, but this is not one of those cases chief.
there's a point where even I start to agree with the common denominator argument as someone who firmly disagrees with it for a lot of players, and this is far beyond that point. I'd say a winrate below 45% is almost certainly your fault, I don't think a soul could disagree about a ~10% winrate being your own fault.
@@thalmorjusticiar1 My win rate overall this season is around 56-57% but sometimes I’ll see a 7-12 loss streak. Usually bounce back though as my win rate suggests. I’m GM3 get to T500 sometimes drop rn I’m back in T500 though.
supports usually have the best sense of what's going on in a game because they have to babysit everyone's health but watch out for enemies too. so if your support is kicking off that you're a bad tank, chances are you are. it usually means bad positioning and over-extending such that you're making your supp's job difficult to impossible.
As a support main myself i can say youre absolutely right. Oh how many times have i had tanks tell me how to heal or do my job when they push and push and push, out of line of sight, and dont even think about turning to help the rest of their team. Kudos to my teammates tho as whenever a tank talks shit my whole team backs me up 😂
This statement right here sums up the game. The amount of tank delusion is downright scary. Even when the support's healing numbers are higher than the tank's damage he'll still complain at them for not pocketing him while he mindlessly feeds himself to the other team
@@FoxExcess as a tank player, I always pay my respects to the Healers. The worst that I could've possibly done was say in VC "let me check our supports' heal numbers" (I was wanting to check our Bridgette's heals as to confirm that they were playing optimally, which they absolutely were, and check out the heals of a healer who just joined the match). Our Venture immediately went ham on my dumb ass and I apologized immediately. I'm Silver 5 (the worst rank of Silver. I've been playing Overwatch for two weeks now and people remind me about that, still feels bad man), but I know when I've cocked up, and I thus never blame my supports. Flats really put this man in a body bag 💀 I told my best friend its always the trash people that bm the most because they don't win enough and its really funny to see it here with this video and the description he gave
An issue i see with this game constantly is that people focus more on kills than actual good teamwork. Like yes, killing is important in the game but licking the enemy tank in an attempt to kill him wont work if the supports are still alive and well, and even front-lining in your backline bc no one cares about them. Another issue is ppl complain about heals when they’re the ones taking so much dmg anyways. Having high heal stats means that your team is taking more dmg than they should, and if they complain that’s their fault for playing like supports make them unkillable 24/7
Thank you for calling out a tank. Who is unwilling to be there for their own team... I play a DVa and the amount of times I've dove into my own back line to take out people on my supports to save them from hooks and aggressive DPS... You cannot just barrel up front and ignore everyone behind you. The fact that they have not died that much should just point out how great their supports are not to their own mechanical skills, because they have none. Edit: I've been playing since overwatch one and I don't think I've ever had a losing streak more than 15 and I think that was like season 27 of overwatch 1 ... When I had stopped playing overwatch for like six or seven seasons and that was completely my shitty gameplay I refuse to believe that I was on 15 bad teams. I know that I made a lot of mistakes.
I love tanks like you. You actually sometimes look behind you to see what's going on to your supports? Who would have thought that could help, definitely not this guy.
@@FoxExcessto be honest, it's kind of easier to play like that on D. Va or any other high mobility/dive tank, compared to Rammatra. You're supposed to constantly float around just by the character design and you do it like 5 times faster.
"I refuse to believe that I am bad" That's his whole problem and the reason he's in bronze. Sometimes it IS your fault. Having to accept that is just part of playing a game competitively.
Having a better attitude makes you better at literally anything. Being cocky and overly confident just makes you stupid because you refuse to learn. Be nice to your teammates and even the other team and you’ll have a lot more fun and you’ll have a lot more wins
I have only ever one time lost 15 games, not in a row but in order to rank so to lose 30 games in a row I don’t know whether to gasp in horror applaud you for your tenacity, or shake my head in both disbelief and amazement
It’s almost like you can pick tank, do no peel, disable your back line, and infinitely have better stats than them. So then all you have to do is go “LoOk At My StAtS, mY tEaM sUcKs!!!!” It’s the best way to avoid accountability and I’ve seen it in high plat/low diamond. Best advice to make sure you’re not that guy is to actually watch your replays when you think a game should’ve been won
@SillyWilly🌝 yes one person can control what 5 other people on the team do. Besides I have real firearms to shoot and there is no skill issue there. Also, I have a life maybe try getting out of grandma's attic and you can have a skillet called life.
This makes me happy cause no matter how bad I may be at the game and at coaching, I can be glad knowing I’m not this bad and that the people I coach don’t do this kinda stuff anymore
The weird thing about new sigma is they're always taught to aim for their legs cause it'll just bounce anyways. I mostly play main tanks (Diamond) and never really learned sig. So when I got into a qp game with some friends they said go sigma to practice. You can just aim for their feet you'll hit every time. Yeah it didn't really work I still don't play sigma. The whole "shoot the floor" thing is just weird. Someone clearly told this guy the same thing.
Sigma is my main next to DVa and shooting the floor is an amazing way to deter DPS and supports from getting too close. But really the important thing is to hit those rocks because once you have them laid flat you should be able to kill them very quickly.. but yes, being able to aim your balls is very important. However, they are very slow and that's why a lot of people use the ground first because it doesn't lose any power when they bounce.
This is such a gold mindset tho cus yesterday I got yelled at by someone on my team because they were off in fucking Narnia and I wasn't able to heal them cus there was a genji in our backline killing me over and over again (I pinged the genji multiple times) Ppl just ignore the rest of their team and wonder why we lose
I had him 2 games in a row and both times we lost, I was on a win streak before I encountered him and after he left I continued winning. But somehow im the one thats stupid
@@merry_whatever Yeah I got a similar tank who flamed us for not following "I don't know wtf my team is doing" but we were getting flanked by a pretty good genji and his Moira. When I told them what was going on, they said it was our fault for not being able to deal with the flanker... but somehow it wasn't their fault they kept going into tiny little rooms to get absolutely destroyed by their Junkrat (getting into every trap possible). Nah, that was on us not healing them enough.
i know the feeling of dropping from gold to bronze. That happened to me during the first seasons of Overwatch as it was my first fps and I didnt know wtf i was doing. And even now I still go on huge lossstreaks (tho never get to the 15 for rank update), where I can drop down two ranks because I just don't stop even tho I should. But i always manage to climb back within the same season after a good nights sleep. Bad days exist, but consistently falling is definitely your own fault.
I did that at the very start of Overwatch 1. The game was very very different, but honestly it was my first real FPS as well and I was just hella lost lol. I placed Gold but steadily dropped to right around 1450, (Silver is 1500, so this would be Bronze 1 in today's system) with like a 20% win rate. It was rough, but I think the key thing is mindset. I *knew* I was awful lol, I was always looking at my own mistakes and trying to fix them. (Granted, this was when the game was still open-queue as well, so there were a decent amount of non-games where you just got 5 dps players or whatever). I was eventually able to get out, I put in over 100 hours in one-tricking Mercy that season and ended just below Plat. Over the next few seasons I got to Plat and then low Diamond.
Back in s2 of OW1, when I actually consistently played enough to climb, I went from high plat to low gold and then climbed up to diamond. I'm fairly certain I never lost more than 5 or 6 in a row and I damn sure never went 4-30. If you belong in a rank, you will climb back no matter what, even if it takes awhile. On the flipside, even if you get lucky streaks and climb somewhere, you'll consistently drop back. If you keep falling down to bronze every season and can't climb back, you're just a bronze player.
The “carried team at least stats wise” was enough for me to know exactly what kind of a tank he was. As someone who rotates between the 3 rolls pretty often, I hate playing with Tanks that just shoot the other tank. Then it’s literally just who can heal more, and it’s not fun or a good strat lol
I can say From experience, I have never had access to game before, OW2 season 1 was my first fps game ever and I got gold as tank and never ranked down, this is honestly a skill issue, you cannot possibly be this bad and be upset everyone else is dying 😭
I'm the same as this, but with support. I get my bad games and having this be my first FPS is an experience but 4-30 is a WHOLE different problem entirely.
You can count with the fingers of one hand the amount of times they helped a teammate. They are just pushing W and expecting the rest of the team to dedicate all resources to saving them
I've had tilt-queues before.... I've had _double-digit_ tilt queues before, but never as long as a 30-loss streak, and *_certainly_* never taking that shit into competitive. I think the worst I've ever had in all of OW1 or OW2 was maybe a 17-loss streak in QP, and just a phenomenally bad day in comp last week where I went 0-6 as DPS. And sometimes, it's completely out of your control-maybe it's a belligerent bad tank pick, or a sniper that can't hit a stationary target. But if you can't recognize when either you or your teammates aren't carrying their full weight and tell yourself, _"I've got to stop; this'll get way worse before it gets any better"..._ *then you deserve your rank.*
Dude as someone who just picked up OW and is in the low ranks I can promise you this is what these tanks do and think in game. The amount of times I’ve been blamed as a DPS because our tank just *FULL SPRINTS* into the enemy zone or onto point with no help only to get smoked is painful. Like if the team is dead you wait up you don’t 1v however many are up with tanks like Reinhardt. And they have the same attitude too. Never their faults. Sorry rant over. Loved the vid
funny thing is that in lower ranks as Zarya you actually can just shoot the horse, high charge Zarya will just melt since you ignore one of her cooldowns
I’m so glad I pick up on things that Flatts “tEaChEs” in these because I’m slowly climbing from bronze 5 to silver 3 i think? I forget but I say this because last night me and my other support legitimately carried the team, and we never got ballsy like this fucking tank
Only been playing Overwatch for a few weeks - and I have never touched ranked And these videos reassure me that that’s a solid decision on my part. Because the AUDACITY of someone like this to say they ‘carried’ after losing 30 matches in a row, lol
I think the most recent big loss streak I had was maybe 12 losses about 3 days ago, some of those games was either me being clueless, my teammates being clueless or just being a massive team diff, but if you're that ignorant to think you did nothing wrong in 30 games you need to stay in bronze
I had that issue when overwatch 2 released. I had multiple 5-0 and 5-1 records without ever ranking up from bronze 5, and my gf who played every game with me had the same problem. Two seasons later we were diamond.
3:57 No flats, youre not about to die when you have 200hp, 70 charge, 1 spare bubble and facing an orisa + a soldier and kiriko at both 10hp and all of them are bronze. yes the guy is bad and probably doesnt deserve much more than bronze/silver but lets be real your comments are also bronze vibes
I went 3-15 through tank qualifiers so it was playing in games from silver to platinum maybe a diamond. Truly a humbling experience. Thought I could probably slot into silver alright but got Bronze 1 instead
This dude thrived nearly every OT fight because he was forced to play cart. Skills and awareness didn't seem too bad (Maybe silver/gold), he just locked on to the tank every fight.

30 games in a row is craaazyyy when I was below ranked I used to get a lot of loses like, 2 wins 1 lose sometimes 3 wins 2 loses, but never bloody 30 that game just ain't for them
All this dude needs is to catch a break if he feels pissed, it happened to me in my placement games. Lost 3 in a row (2 were out of my control, 1 had a leaver on our team after we didnt push point in eichenwalde for 2 minutes, and the other our Zenyatta/mercy[yeah so the other support couldnt go mercy either-] and we lost, eben tho we did well in a 4 v 5 getting about halfway to 2nd point in Shambali) I was so pissed, but I decided not to play for the weekend I could, and hopped on next weekend(never home during the weekdays cause of school), and I won the 5 placement games, losing 2 in the process(lost 1 cause my wifi got atrocious, to the point I was rubber banding for 2 seconds then returned to when I died), and the other was just bad gameplay from my end. What im tryna say, if shit isnt working out for you and you feel pissed, give yourself some time to relax, and dont go ham on your teammates. Im still working on raging myself, but if I ever find myself wanting to get upset at my teammates for any reason, I quickly catch myself and just calm down or vent for a moment to myself and continue on. If we have bad teammates, a bad support or dps oh well, lets try out best. When I started to try being less toxic in general, what i kept in mind is even if I'm fuming, spreading my anger to my teammates wont make shit better, if anything itll make it worse.

Bro if you lost 30 games, the common denominator is you.

Dude's in denial and even he knows it
supports usually have the best sense of what's going on in a game because they have to babysit everyone's health but watch out for enemies too. so if your support is kicking off that you're a bad tank, chances are you are. it usually means bad positioning and over-extending such that you're making your supp's job difficult to impossible.
@@FoxExcess as a tank player, I always pay my respects to the Healers. low elo tanks don’t understand that they can turn around, they only look in one place, FORWARD.
I mean I’m not saying you’re wrong, but with this dude as the other tank it’s going to work 😂
An issue i see with this game constantly is that people focus more on kills than actual good teamwork.

This dude went 4 and 30 and didn't notice that the common denominator in his losses was himself.
So them rising the gold was a mathematical fluke. Them going 4 and 30 seems like the system working as intended and correcting this mistake.
i know the feeling of dropping from gold to bronze.

I was so pissed, but I decided not to play for the weekend I could, and hopped on next weekend(never home during the weekdays cause of school), and I won the 5 placement games, losing 2 in the process(lost 1 cause my wifi got atrocious, to the point I was rubber banding for 2 seconds then returned to when I died), and the other was just bad gameplay from my end.
“We are both spectating the same game” got me laughing hard. Earned a sub
8:31 He didn't self-bubble for some reason after grav.
17:42 He could ally bubble bastion. In fact he never does.
Literally any Ram ult that makes it through the voiceline is a good Ram ult.
22:07, guarantee you don't walk around the block, big boy.
I like to imagine getting featured in these is a rude awakening for these people
With tanks this delusional it's hard to say
Everyone has unlucky games with bad teammates or just an off game but with 30 games the only constant is you.
Me starting this vid, aww poor thing 30 losses
Me sees that first tbag: "ok you deserve that loss streak"
the worst thing is that the play he did before that wasnt even that good
@@maiku1 most of the people who tbag on this game got a 4vs1 fight, managed to land the final blow to someone and think they were the ones doing something lol
@@Kat-xp8zn exactly, like saying "yeah! I'm the best!" XD. And also, this guy only bubbled himself all the game. Not a single bubble to his Teammates
16:30 - the Dva got a double kill by dropping the mech 🤣
It was the mid rant, “Tim games” lmao
Man idk why this is so funny. Pls do more of these
The guy saying he's not bronze... like he dropped to bronze yesterday, the guy has played hundreds of games for months now in bronze... at this point they should ask themselves how I was even silver to begin with.. what kinda matchmaking bug occurred
Whenever I feel like I’m bad I just go over and watch shit like this cause this. This is peak entertainment
I wish there was a rank below bronze so this person can find his proper rank
when he sprays and t bags at 23:33 I absolutely lost it omg
This is the sort of person who plays Orissa and just walks forward into the middle of their team like a zombie and dies 23 times in a match, then complains that their team sucks. Some people are just brain dead. Annoyingly these people sometimes manage to get carried into diamond where I still have to deal with them as teammates.
9:00- is the classic "Let's go all 5!" waiting game common in lower ELOs. It didn't have the classic spam of Group Up as it normally does though.
Also I'm glad Flats is recognizing more the "Tank Slapboxing" that is universal in lower ranks. From my previous mention of it I learned it's a common mistake even higher up.
Man I was just gonna play a little OW yesterday to finish my weekly challenges and I straight up went on a 7 loss streak lmao, then lost some more after a couple wins. It was qp so who cares but when you're just trying to wrap up a few challenges that sucks. It was just not an OW day for me, but someone going 4-30 and still not thinking that it might be their fault makes me feel better lol
25:45
THAT WINSTON'S SPIN LMAO
i think losing 30 games in a row is somehow more impressive than winning 30 games in a row
23:38 the side eye to the camera, I freakin lost it
how did moira still catch a stray💀
I was bronze 1 dps season 2 ow2, I'm currently diamond 5 (solo que). here's some tips to literally get out of bronze, play aggressive, take high ground and off angles, and cooldown management.
Zarya is one of those tanks played correctly you don’t die
A hitscan main can carry with zarya...easily with good tracking and bubble management
16:09 dude i’m gonna be honest i was hyped for a second but for him to throw that badly, just turn off the game and read a book 😭
I could play Mystery Heroes and not lose 30 in a row, let alone if I always got to play with my main. Of course, I also don't tea bag people after one good play.
