I honestly don't know shit about cheats or cheating, but it looks like he might have been using cheats tuned for projectiles? Like it was trying to predict where they were going? I think if he played Hanzo he would have destroyed like most halfway competent hackers

He literally got carried by his team lol. The amount of times Kiriko saved him from dying in a stupid position is insane.
The worse part is, I'm not even mad at the supports for keeping him alive, he's so bad he wasn't helping anyways

I was guts in this game lol. Our sombra called out that guy on the 2nd point when you freaked out. We made fun of wilbo the whole game it was a pretty fun one ngl. This was about Plat 3 I think.
I have to ask, how did the enemy team react to hearing that their teammate was a cheater? Like did they even care?

And he only got her cause after getting smoked by her multiple times he tried to find her before she finds him. The Sombras aim was also really good, I have worse aim with her most of the time.
Even with cheats, that guy wouldn't be able to get higher than diamond. Remember, even if you have perfect aim, your gamesense and positioning can still hold you back
With gamesense this bad (and cheats this cheap) it's surprising he even made it to plat.

In my experience people dont group much until gold. But maybe that guy just grew some braincells and tried to spawncamp people for easy wins.

I think the first few times Sombra killed the cheater, their small ego got bruised and just went 1000% on her, which made it that much funnier watching them "play normally" sometimes with their shit aim until they face a Sombra.
Thats is exactly why i went after his ass, and I tried to coordinate with other teammates going after him too

My guy, I've had like 3 or 4 double/triple shot coffees in one day, and even in that hyper-energised state I have better aim than this guy LMAOOOOO
That poor Sombra, the only reason she kept getting shredded is bc the character plays so far outside of the support range so she was the only one the hacker was even remotely able to kill
Whenever there were multiple targets on screen, the aimbot struggled keeping a lock on any one targets. It often shot at the mid-point between two targets. Sombra's best play was to not flank or just switch (which she did).

That sombra was the first person to call him out for cheating (supposedly, according to "guts" from the game) so maybe they specifically kept targeting them as some form of "revenge"
That and the sombra was the only one away from support that he could actually manage to kill, as the other reply says

I feel like these cheats were some bait software made to troll cheaters instead of real cheats. Well except the wallhacks part. Either that or the guy using the cheats was completely clueless how to setup them lol

I just now realized that after his failed attempt of using cheats with visors, he turns them off every time he ults afterward and then turns them back on after the ult's done.

The fact the aimbot can't land a shot half the time, or the fact it's so jittery it's motion sickness inducing, to the point it's probably less fun for the cheater himself than just playing legit.

i think that the cheat software is trying to lock on to multiple people, which causes the hard twitching when he has multiple enemies infront of him

honestly, my guess is that his enemy silhouette is set to be purple and he locks onto that. when the mei is hit by ana at the start, he shoots her (purple effect around her when shot by ana), shortly after, he shoots the discord orb thats on moira.

Ok so for the uninitiated this type of cheat is a color aimbot. It's usually free and it's janky as hell because it looks for a certain color on your screen and shoots that. So you usually set your enemy colors to magenta because it's a rare color. And "you don't have aimbot without walls" is usually incorrect unless you download a separate esp hack. This guy is completely incompetent and has no idea what he's doing. It takes about 5 minutes to configure it to get it to about 100% accuracy and clear this guy didn't do any configuring. The main giveaway of it being this type of cheat is that jittery thing that goes on when you aim at someone - it's usually the aimbot trying to aim at the nametag because nametags are typically the same as the enemy color

I feel the soldier cheats are for when he had weapon spread given how it shakes so violently (or the aimbot is just terrible). And I like to imagine Soldier laughing like Flats as he fires bullets like a maniac, especially at 8:03

holy fuck I've never seen cheats turned up that high. Usually they're tuned in such a way that it sometimes looks kinda real, sort of. This was just insane.

something to keep in mind is that when a really good player decides to use cheats theyre normally smart enough with them so that almost nobody can actually tell. this is pretty common in a lot of different games and especially speed running where when a really good player is near the pinnacle of the playerbase but always seems to come up just a little short theyll use much more subtle cheats to give them just a slight edge and typically that will push them to the top of whatever game theyre playing. so like if someone in gm 3 wanted to get into top 500 all they would need to do is get a small, simple cheat that doesnt majorly affect gameplay but just gives them a super small advantage in every team fight and with their already existing skill that was bordering top 500 theyll probably climb. im not saying that its common in overwatch but it wouldnt surprise me if it happened more than people thought it did

because people like this refuse to take accountability and learn from their mistakes, they assume the game is full of cheaters because their ego doesnt allow them to improve and learn so in their mind its justified. this mindset is rampant in other games like Warzone, everyone gets accused of cheating and legit players start cheating in order to counter the non-existent cheaters that only exist in their head

13:15 yes those that cheat (both in multiplayer games and in speed running categories) tend to either be really bad or actually really good with the bad being self explanatory but the really good ones having gotten ok/good at tech and everything but having started feeling like they “deserve” a higher rank on the leaderboard

I came across someone who I am pretty sure was using the same cheats a couple weeks back, he would sometimes get lucky and get some kills but it was so bad that I almost felt like he bought some cheats that were made to intentionally troll cheaters.

My sis and I played with this same soldier and I didn’t realize he was hacking until I actually watched the killcam and it was exactly this, it was absolutely crazy, when I watched the kill cam my eyes died.

Looks like it is just locking onto the closest player, and not a hard lock but a soft lock, almost like Aim Assist. You can see something similar with Aim Assist when you are shooting one person, and another runs infront of you and the magnetic aim assist pull you off your intended target and onto the one that ran by.

I have fairly mediocre aim. When I play a hero like Sombra I usually get somewhere from 20-40% accuracy. But this guy's aim is worse than mine somehow, and he's using cheats. Part of me hopes that the person who made the hacks purposely made them awful so that people like this would still suck.
I feel so bad for the Sombra. I'm willing to bet they were calling out the cheater in chat and getting shut down. So glad to see that the cheater lost.

this is full proof that game sense matters more than aim in a few cases, some game sense or knowledge of cooldowns+abilities would have actually helped more than the aimbot
