I tried using the camera as you suggested and included "Amazon" in the video titles, but I didn't add thumbnails; I let them auto-generate. I submitted all three video reviews last night, and today they were approved. I appreciate your comment about how it's real work when people pay us, so it motivates me to put in the effort.❤
You should know saying you need to have 1-2k followers is a myth. I was accepted with 500 followers and there are many others accepted with as little as 50 followers. That is because it’s not about follower count, it’s about engagement. If you have 50 loyal engaging followers, that’s better than 1,000 with low engagement.
Thank you for making a clear explanation video! My first try has been denied and so now Im afraid that I won’t do well enough. I’m about to try attempt number 2 for my 3 videos. One thing I didn’t think about was making sure that videos can be placed with the product. Liked and subscribed!

Yeah, I actually looked at the videos that Amazon was recommending that influencers watch for inspiration, and almost all of them had multiple products. I think so many people are just trying to make educated guesses since Amazon doesn't give us a lot of details. Thanks for watching, and good luck getting approved!

Thanks for the informative video. Are you saying it is okay to mention shopping at “amazon” in the first three videos? After watching your video, I re-edited one of my videos to “Top 3 Car dash cameras in Amazon” and then in the video I am specifically saying, “you can buy these cameras from Amazon”. Would that be okay? Or will they disqualified you? I recall they mentioned that your videos could not show their logo(s). Thanks.
Hi there! Yes, It's fine to mention Amazon in the title and on the video. For example, my friend did a video about her "Three Favorite Amazon Plant Products." She put that in the title and also said it at the beginning of her video. If you put any text on the video itself, I think it's very important that everything is spelled correctly. That is definitely more following/engagement than others that I've seen approved. I was having this conversation with a friend the other day, trying to figure out what other reasons might be. Is there anything in your content that might be considered controversial? Also, is the engagement recent? Those are two things I can think of. Keep trying! @@traveltomoney I think it is the engagement. I haven't posted a lot of videos in July. I'm going to put a new short video up every day for a week and try again. Thanks for the quick follow up and advice!
Just started on the amazon influencers programme and I am struggling to find how to upload my first three videos. I can not see any upload button on the webpage when I log in, any help would be very much appreciated!
From all the comments I see across other TH-cam comments, it seems that many people are struggling with rejection due to "video quality" even when using a quality camera and external mic. Perhaps it's a general rejection that may include the reasons you mentioned in this video (quality of the information etc)? Anybody know if 4K video is preferred?
Is there an influencer portal to submit the first 3 videos? I realized I was accepted last year and never did anything with it. I’m a bit lost - and I created 3 reviews of past items. One got rejected-but I believe it’s because they don’t display videos on the item page and the other 2 got accepted. I created 2 more video reviews and submitted. I never got messaging that say I needed to submit 3 videos in the firs place or even now. Am I on the right track? Thank you!
On your storefront you can click the "create content" button to upload videos. The "manage videos" page that it should take you to when on a desktop is going to be the place where you see if videos are approved for commissions. This is not the same as the section next to each individual video that says "published" or "rejected." What you're looking for is at the top of that page. There is a bar with a lock at the end of it. That section will update a day or so after you upload 3 videos (a total of three available on the page). This will trigger the review process. And this is the area you can check each day for updates on of you were denied. If you are approved, you will get a big congratulations pop-up. Hope this helps!

But I have one question here, do they review if the storefront name mtach the face in the video? For example, if I name my storefront shopping with Dianna. but videos how a man's face, will that be a problem?
Hi there! I'm not 100% sure. However, I did watch some of the creator videos that Amaazon recommended, and they often had a significant other or friend in the video with them, and it wasn't a problem. Just to be on the safe side, I'd recommend being in your first 3 videos. After you get that approval, I wouldn't worry about it as much. 🙂
Do we have to show our face on the videos to qualify? Do we have to show our face on the social media profile to qualify? Can we make product videos without showing our face? Is there an option for camera-shy people? Thank you 🙏🏻
I don't use my face in most of my videos now, but I did use them in the first three. I don't think it's a requirement, but maybe do it in the first three just to be safe. 🤞

@@vliizy I was looking at my storefront for the blue lock. The blue lock is on the creator hub / manage page. It is actually automatic. After the first 3 videos are loaded, then Amazon automatically 'moves' it to review and I am in full gratitude my review only took 4 days and I was approved the first time with the first 3 videos.
hey!! Thanks for this info! Super helpful. I have a question. I am approved and in the influencer account and I have uploaded my 3 videos. I'm a content creator so I have no issues creating good videos within the guidelines. They are all 3 published. But I still have the Blue Lock on my On site commisions. Do you know if this is related? I am confused how my videos are all published but I have no "congratulations you are approved" And still have the blue lock on. Its been 17 days.. :/
Oh, goodness. Well, generally, in that top area where the blue lock is, it would tell you if your 3 videos were under review. Does it say anything about that? For me, that message showed up after 24 to 48 hours. Then, it would be another few days for the review process.
@@traveltomoney I believe it did say that and now they are published but still have the blue lock! So odd. I've reached out to them several times. Thanks for your reply!!
Yes! You can accept them sending you items in exchange for a review. You can also charge them (I've seen creators charge between $10 and $50 per review video). But Amazon's one requirement if you do get paid to make a video, is that you disclose that you were paid in the video. So, you have to say something like, "I was paid to review this product." Amazon says something about it in their guidelines. 🙂
It's helpful if there are already videos (even if it is just a video from the seller) in the product carousel at the top along with the product photos. 🙂
so let me get this strait..you can get approved for an Amazon storefront before your vids are approved? If so, do you have to move forward with the vids or can you just keep the storefront?? If you have to move forward with the vids, if you strike out does that mean you lose the storefront???
Hi there! thank you for your video :) I just applied to the program with my instagram account that has 1200 followers and they said I didnt meet the eligibility requirements. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you!
Thank you for watching! I think your best bet would be trying to grow your Insta to over 2k followers and then applying again. I followed some advice from a TH-camr last year and posted one reel every day for 30 days. Two months later, one of those reels went viral and changed the game for me. No guarantees, of course, but it certainly worked for me. 🙂
I totally understand. It takes a lot of the initial fun out of it, but I really think if you follow what's in this video, you're going to get in. 🙂 Let me know how the next round goes!
The front facing camera that I use on my phone has a 40 MP sensor and records at 60 frames per second. I'll have to ask my friend what her camera settings are.
What do you mean make sure the product being reviewed has “video placements on its page”? Do you mean it already has some review videos? Do we mean videos uploaded by the manufacturer, reviewers, and or influencers? Are there products that do not allow videos on its page? And what are your thoughts on reviewing items stating they are “currently unavailable”? As I believe that can be a temporary status sometimes.
Nicole, please help. So we upload 3 video at once and if it is denied, will that means we still have two more shots right? As someone told me to just upload one vdo at a time because if we upload three at once and if you loose that means you are out.
Hi there, each review process is for 3 videos. They won't even start the first review until you have uploaded 3 videos. If you get denied, you'll need to delete the 3 videos and upload 3 new videos. If you get denied the second time, you still get one more chance to delete 3 videos and upload 3 more. I hope this helps! 🙂

After the first 3 videos are loaded, then Amazon automatically 'moves' it to review and I am in full gratitude my review only took 4 days and I was approved the first time with the first 3 videos.
how long does a video have to be, minimum - maximum?
Mine says the same thing “published” but still locked , what does that mean?
@@amyheckman5497mine says the same. It’s been 2 weeks
Do brands/sellers ever reach out to you to ask for video reviews and is Amazon okay with that?
How did you know if you get denied ? Where can I see it ?
Here is a video I have where I explain how to navigate everything: th-cam.com/video/4keGG26Anvk/w-d-xo.html
My first one was published and 2 still on review
What do you mean by video placement on the product page? Does that mean there are already video reviews tagged for that product?
It's helpful if there are already videos (even if it is just a video from the seller) in the product carousel at the top along with the product photos. 🙂
Okay, I just wanted to confirm.
When submitting the videos, did you do a mix of horizontal and vertical, or did you submit all 3 in the same format?
Is Amazon Influencer open in all countries?
When I first read about it a few months ago, I believe they had the program available in around 10 countries. 🙂
so let me get this strait..you can get approved for an Amazon storefront before your vids are approved? If so, do you have to move forward with the vids or can you just keep the storefront?? If you have to move forward with the vids, if you strike out does that mean you lose the storefront???
You don’t HAVE to make videos for storefront. You could have a storefront driven only by photos, external links, etc.
Hi there! thank you for your video :) I just applied to the program with my instagram account that has 1200 followers and they said I didnt meet the eligibility requirements.
@@traveltomoney Thank you for your fast response! Yes that is the route I will go and try again. Thank you, I enjoy your videos :)
I feel very disappointed because I was just rejected for the first time.
I totally understand. It takes a lot of the initial fun out of it, but I really think if you follow what's in this video, you're going to get in. 🙂 Let me know how the next round goes!
Does anyone need a free product for Amazon Video?
What pixel and frame rate did you use while recording your and your friends videos?
The front facing camera that I use on my phone has a 40 MP sensor and records at 60 frames per second. I'll have to ask my friend what her camera settings are.
Thank you. I meant did you record at 1080 or 4k? Knowing you used 60 fps helps.
@preshizmp5797 I just looked back at them, and I was wrong. It was actually 30 fps, but FHD 1920x1080.
Thank you very much 🙂
What do you mean make sure the product being reviewed has “video placements on its page”?
Thank you so much....This is so clear!!! and much helpful 🥰🥰❤️❤️
@@traveltomoney How many more chances do we have for rejection 3 video
This is like a rat race to make videos.
