Question...do you have a link to your storefront? Or do you have your first three videos posted we can see what they looked like? Feel free to send me a message. I just submitted 2 today and I’m doing the third tomorrow and I’m worried for some reason I won’t get approved lol....Any idea if we can use the same products to review if we get denied the first time?
@@laurenfgamble thank you! I was actually approved with the first three I did within 3 days of submitting! :) Thanks for all the help with your videos! :)
Thanks for this video, Lauren! I’ve been in Amazon Influencer for 12 months. I started making money about 3 weeks in, but of course you don’t get paid for another couple of months. Definitely worth it, if you can get accepted to the program.
Hem, I received an email about the influencer program about a 550 dollar course and I bet you it's the same folks that set up an influencer team. Triple + business promoting BIN stores, selling training, buying things to send to Little Owl and flip on Ebay, with employees doing a lot.
@@mrconsignment OK. I haven't seen that, and I haven't done any paid courses myself. Nor am I offering them. I think there's lots of good, free info on TH-cam but it always come down to a business decision, because sometimes it's worth doing a course or paying someone else to set up the technical side for you.
Hi Lauren!! I was approved for the Influencer program a few weeks ago. Just requested to join your FB group - I have several questions! Looking forward to getting started and seeing success with this program and SUPER excited to have a community to grow with!
In this video you are talking about posting videos of product reviews, my question is where do you post those videos? How did you get Amazon to give you the reviewer status? Thank you for the wonderful video.
Yes, once approved into the Amazon influencer program, you go through another approval process for onsite commissions. Once approval for onsite commissions, you can post these reviews on your Amazon storefront.
Once you get into the program, you should put it in. But I don't believe you have to in order to start earning. They just won't be able to pay you if they don't have that info. Is that what you're asking?
I think many think of this as a "challenge", but it doesn't take much. Some people in my group got in with under 100 followers. We think it's more about engagement.
It does make sense that they increased in the lead up to black friday and Christmas. I wouldn’t be surprised if it slows down a bit at the beginning of the year and then picks up
How much time did it take for your commissions actually hit your bank account? I’ve heard the payments are delayed because Amazon has to wait to see if their customers return items.
This is probably a solly question but I'm curious... I keep all of my socials private, wpuldI need to make them public before applying? And if so, how long wpuld they need to be public and when I can go back to private?
You'll want to go to your "Creator Hub" page. There you'll see towards the top right corner wither the blue lock or you'll see it say "Earned Onsite Commissions"
Have you made a video about the part in signing up about asking for your tax number? I can’t remember if that’s what it is called but I signed up, and feel like I got a message about finishing that payment step but it felt confusing. Thanks!
Thanks so much! It feels invasive with the questions they ask but if I know everyone has to do it and any insights into it then I’ll feel a bit better! Thanks
This video is based all on my "onsite commissions". So, I do not post on any platforms to earn this onsite. Onsite commissions are earned when Amazon features my videos on their platform, someone watches, and purchases.
Could you show us how exactly you applied i could not find where to upload the shopable videos i just posted them on my store front and tagged my products is that it ?
Yes, that's it! Once in the Influencer program you post the 3 videos to your storefront (all 3 of mine were for single product reviews), tagged the product in each video and once I had 3 up, you'll see your account is in review for onsite placements.
Did you have to share a lot on your social media (the reviews) that is connected to your influencer account, in order to make money? Or are you only posting videos on storefront?
Several months ago an employee of a BIN store told me about people filming for six hours and in exchange they would promote the store. I blew that off because six hours with a pile of clothing, broken toys, etc. had to be the most boring thing. Now I realize there had to be a small team filming thousands of videos.
Amazon doesn't say exactly how many you need, but from what me and many others assume it's more about the engagement on your social media than the number of followers.
Can you just do the videos on social media and send people to your front store via a link without adding videos to Amazon? That’s what I’m trying to do so far but no commission yet
Go to your “creator hub” page and towards the top right you’ll see the blue lock if you’re not approved yet, or that you earn onsite commissions if you are approved.
Everyone is different and each video is different, too. With onsite that I'm talking about in this video, for most of my videos it does take me much less time than videos for other platforms. I've also been doing this for 8+ years so some videos don't take me but a couple min-someone new might take longer with filming, editing, thumbnails, etc.
Ok I'm must be doing something wrong!! I get a lot of likes on my videos and azm keep my videos in the top carousel but NO sells!! I have long and short videos, thumbnails and no thumbs. I Dont know what else to do.
@@laurenfgamble I have about 50 or so videos up. I believe my issue is they’re not watching the whole 30 seconds. I really wish they would change that bc I know ppl are watching and buying. If my videos weren't performing it would definitely be moved from the top to allow room for someone else right?
@@TheShuwanna there’s no way to say when and why Amazon places videos, so that’d be hard to say. So, what I might do If I were you is experiment with shorter videos and incorporate elements into my videos that will encourage viewers to keep watching. Most of my videos average about 1-2 min long.
Great results! But what the heck happens when you run out of products in your home? Then you have to buy new products and then store them away not using them just for the sake of making new videos. This has what's always stopped me. Plus it doesn't seem like you can just willy nilly do reviews on whatever the heck you want. Doesn't there have to be some research that goes into it? And finally, I apologize for the mini rant, then you have to be accepted into the Influencer program and if you have no following, good luck with that. Everyone always says how glamorous this side hustle is, yet NO ONE 😡will actually go into how to ACTUALLY overcome these hurdles which I know is a real deal for people who have no experience with Amazon, an audience, doing product review videos, etc.

Hi Lauren, i just found you and thank you for taking the time to make these videos??
New subscriber 😁 so excited to see a one year update!
Good work Lauren 🙌🏽❤️
Thank you!!
Thank you for this video. Hardly anyone is talking about this program. Much appreciated ❤
Glad it was helpful!
wow how many videos did you have for november to get $1900 in commissions? i think some of your items must have went viral
12 videos posted in November. But also had many commissions from the videos I posted in the previous months.
Thank you for the breakdown.
Do you post horizontal or vertical videos?
Both. But mostly horizontal.
Awesome thank you for the information
THANK YOU for your videos!!!! unbelievably helpful
Happy to help!

Yes, once approved into the Amazon influencer program, you go through another approval process for onsite commissions. Once approval for onsite commissions, you can post these reviews on your Amazon storefront.
Do you post multiple times on one product? Or do you just do one video per product?
Hi Laura. Thank you this informative video. I do have a quick question. Do you need to put all you tax and bank I fo right away?

Yes. Thank you @@laurenfgamble
Awesome video, thanks for a realistic breakdown. Going to try amazon influencer program soon. Thanks Lauren!!

My challenge is i need to build some social media account to be admitted into the program.
I think many think of this as a "challenge", but it doesn't take much. Some people in my group got in with under 100 followers. We think it's more about engagement.
It’s about engagement. What you need to do is find a friend who has a video on TikTok over 50k views. Trust me
@@laurenfgambleOi ima go post 7200 videos and tell you my commission monthly for it 😂😂😂😂
I got in today with my two weeks old Tiktok account.

Go to manage videos on your storefront then you will see the blue lock

I can definitely make something to help with this!

On what platforms are you posting videos and pasting links
This video is based all on my "onsite commissions". So, I do not post on any platforms to earn this onsite. Onsite commissions are earned when Amazon features my videos on their platform, someone watches, and purchases.
Do you do an analysis of the products to decide if it's worth before making a video, or just do videos of everything you find at home?
Yes I definitely do research before!
Could you show us how exactly you applied i could not find where to upload the shopable videos i just posted them on my store front and tagged my products is that it ?

Did you have to share a lot on your social media (the reviews) that is connected to your influencer account, in order to make money? Or are you only posting videos on storefront?
These are all earnings from “onsite” commissions, so all on my Amazon storefront- no social media.

How do you make videos?
hello i applied and got deny due to not enough followers. Do you know how much we need?

Can you just do the videos on social media and send people to your front store via a link without adding videos to Amazon? That’s what I’m trying to do so far but no commission yet
Yes you can. That’s considered “offsite” with Amazon. It usually takes a lot of volume to see results.
I was approved but I cant tell if I'm approved for onsite commission or not
Go to your “creator hub” page and towards the top right you’ll see the blue lock if you’re not approved yet, or that you earn onsite commissions if you are approved.
@@laurenfgamble how do i find the creator hub?
nvm i googled creator hub and found it@@laurenfgamble
It doesn't take 10 minutes to create 6 videos as you are saying... I'm a cretaor myself.. It takes much more time

How long does it take to get approved
Been trying to build a tik tok to get accepted into the program. Just hit 105 followers but still getting denied 😕
Focus on engagement vs. followers
Do you ever see your own review videos when searching items online? Or had friends and family mention seeing your videos.
Yes you can see your own videos
I need help getting into this program. The first step
did you join the fb group?! there's tons of us in there willing to help!
I posted my 3 videos but amazon is taking long to review them
Yes I believe they’re still behind.
Can I have an Amazon associate’s account and an Amazon influencer?
Yep!
@@laurenfgamble thank you!
I have another question - should the videos be filmed in landscape or portrait or does it not matter?
Doesn’t matter. People get approved with them both ways.
@@laurenfgamble thanks again! I appreciate it!
Have you noticed commissions dropping lately?
Offsite, no. Last month with onsite, yes. Trending upward again this month 👍 ups and downs are all part of the game.
Wow amazing
Thank you!
Is there anyone who did this in Europe? Like Germany/Austria/Italy?
Right now, the influencer program is available in the U.S., UK, IN, and CA.
