Exactly. More panels & more batteries. We just went through a four-day power outage here in Maryland. Our little solar power system (3 x 100 w panels) and 4 (40 WAhr) 160 AHr battery bank enabled us to keep internet up, small pump for aquariums, a fan to cool down, cell phone charging. I think now i just need more batteries to store - luckily we had bright sunshine during the 4 day outage. A few more panels from Renogy as well.

Even a 10th student can understand your method of calculation if one has known basic electrical terms and the relationship among them. Please design this type of videos in future also so that many viewers could become electrical technology literates.Thank you once again Technical Guruji.

    Excellent explanation. Thank you!
This video fully explained the basic instructions and requirements for going solar (DIY),. In addition, I think a solar charge controller is required to have a complete solar system setup and the calculation to determine the solar charge controller amps for this video will be dividing the total solar panel watts (720 watts) by 12V (for a 12Volts system) calculation which will give us 60. So you'll need a 60A MPPT or POWMR solar charge controller.

the video is good for beginners but there are some factors ignored like in battery selection you cannot consider dept of discharge DOD as 100% this can damage a battery in the long run again on solar pannel selection, factors like solar efficiency because it cannot harness 100% solar energy and other factors like shading and dc losses, but its a good video with solar basic

Battery capacity (draw-down) is rarely 100% of capacity. Even if using LiFePO4 - work on 80% depth of discharge - meaning you can use 80% of 250Ah - so upscale the battery by a factor

Not only DoD (depth of discharge)/SoC (state of charge) should be considered, but also:
      • SoH (state of health).
      • Inverter efficiency (DC-AC conversion).
      • Battery efficiency (chemical-electrical energy conversion). Irrelevant.
      • Temperature.
      • Current (due to resistive losses/Joule effect as well as Peukert’s law). Specially relevant for lead-acid batteries.
