    To add to what you have said. A profile or a person intro should be in the Coverletter not in CV. There isn't one CV that fits all professions.,so people should be careful. CV is facts about your abilities. Skills The list of skills in your video scoring and content is useless. The items on that list should show up within the job description of achievements within each company that they have worked for. Skills are mainly to do with software that one has used to aid their work, skills that cannot be covered in the achievements of each company, Languages skills split Cantonese & Mandarin and Level of understanding, Leadership is one but should state how many or big they lead. They should and other achievements like rep. at school/college, Active part of any social networking group e.t.c. Also, hobbies, playing the piano, hiking, coin collecting e.t.c. All these will help companies understand and build a photo/character of who this person behind the CV is like.

      Re profile: Yeah, I do agree, that's the reason why i strongly disagree having on in the CV, but i do understand some people wanna put one to drag attention if they are experienced or did something within that field. I guess there's a lot of ways to go around as long as the CV could catch the HR attention.

      @@richardukjob3501 Bear in mind, not every company has an HR department, mainly large companies. Smaller to medium companies, company Partners, directors or even senior management would be the one who reviews incoming CV's who have a different eye to what an HR eye would see. So, understand who might review your CV and tailor-make the cover letter to the right audience.
