It doesn't do amazing vs bosses unfortunately, and I didn't want to bore the viewer with footage of me dying to bosses. It did work against Providence though, as shown, but DoG, Yharon, Exo mechs, Scal? Nope. You'd die quickly.
I was more looking into maxing out the life regen stat itself :p that's why I didn't use stuff like heart statues, I just wanted the number of health regen to be maxed out.
is there a 'scientifically best' build? I have no idea if resistance-values drop off at a certain point.. but whats the best combination out of hp/def/life regen & maybe even dps?
Max damage reduction wouldn't be a good video, because calamity gives diminishing returns for damage reduction. The higher your damage reduction is, the less you can increase it. Say for example you have 0% damage reduction, and you equip an item that provides 10% extra damage reduction, this will bring your damage reduction up to 10% of course! But if you have 50% damage reduction, and you equip an item that provides 10% extra damage reduction, this will only give you about ~4% damage reduction. It's just very disappointing, and I wanted to make a video about it, but it just seems very disappointing and unamusing as a video. Thanks for the idea though!

If you could actually move around and dodge while still having that insane regen, this setup would be busted.
The camper didn't perform well, surprisingly. I thought it'd do good too. I gathered the footage weeks ago, but I'm pretty sure the camper just grants you the effects of the heart lantern and campfire in terms of life regen.

@@pi7855official terraria wiki says otherwise. 1.5hp/s and 0.5 extra for EVERY 2 extra enemies hit.

Oh yeah, this doesn't work on most post moon lord bosses, it did work on providence, but only because she dies super quick.
