@@achharsinghgill472 You are correct. The hereditary caste system has no basis whatsoever in the Vedic scriptures. In fact, the hereditary caste system is actually CONTRARY to what the Vedic scriptures teach. Caste was never originally hereditary, it was originally only an organisation and categorisation of society based on occupation and what occupation you had was, in those ancient times, determined by whatever your predominant guna was ('guna' is a Sanskrit word that means something like 'mode' or 'tendency' in English). This is confirmed by Lord Krishna (who is considered to be God Himself in a human form by many Hindus) when He says in the Bhagavad Gita: “According to the three gunas and the work ascribed to them, the four divisions of human society were created by Me. And, although I am the creator of this system, you should know that I am yet the non-doer, being unchangeable.”
Also, all of the four castes were equally necessary for Vedic Civilisation to function properly. Kshatriyas are the arms, Brahmins are the head, Vaishyas are the stomach and Shudras are the feet. This is what the Vedic scriptures declare and the message is that a person needs a head, arms, a stomach and feet to properly function and that, in a similar way, society equally needs Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras to properly function. Also, the Vedic scriptures declared for the first time anywhere in the world thousands of years ago "Vasudhaiva kutumbakam" (which in Sanskrit means "The world is one family"). Furthermore, Lord Krishna also states in the Bhagavad Gita in Chapter 5, Verse 18: "The learned, with the eyes of divine knowledge, see with equal vision a priest, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater."
Also, the Vedic scriptures were the first scriptures in the world to declare thousands of years ago the fundamental oneness of all living things, for example the Katha Upanishad says: "As the one fire, after it has entered the world, though one, takes different forms according to whatever it burns,
so does the internal soul of all living beings, though one, take a form according to whatever He enters and is outside all forms."

My eyes went teary when GD Bakshi Sir spoke on behalf of the Brahmins. We people have never been dominating over anybody and are now facing the heat of Reservation and still this paid media paints us as Villains. All Brahmins ever did was to preserve and protect the ethics and values of our Religion even while surviving through their meagre lives. For all those who blame us for being "Casteist",I can openly say that even though I am a Brahmin,I demand complete dissolution of Castes from Indian Society.Let us all be Brahmins, all be Kshatriyas,All be Vaishyas and All be Harijans.Let us all study Vedas to become equals to rebuild a Strong and Unified Hindu Nation.

I see Brahmins as peaceful people and they are the keepers of this Culture this Vedic education so these CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES and FOREIGN POWERS are trying and I'd say they are successful in cutting of the trust and the faith of people in Saints and Brahmins because of the Civilization which we call as SANATAN which means ETERNAL......

maDDy bro I agree with your sentiments, I also do not believe in caste or other divisions, if you see in parenthesis I have used the word sapoot meaning sincere sons of soil, so no question of any categorisation. Moreover, the term Kshatriya is used in the sense of a fighter or worrier who is fighting for or defending the motherland, these guys are doing through intellectual means therefore intellectual Kshatriya, and nothing to do with caste.

A very refreshing conversation indeed. India must rise to the emerging gargantuan threat of China which is emerging slowly and silently through their interventions in Pakistan, South China sea, OBOR , CPEC and some more.In not so many words, as expressed by many thinkers , the time to act for India on Baluchistan is now . That has common interests with USA .

14:52 Yes This guilt complex in German youth is too much. I am seeing here everyday. Almost everyday in the morning news somehow or other they will bring ww2 footages, and the anchors keep on saying how "Germany is responsible for everything", etc. So even a casual talk with a fellow German about how great German systems are compared ot the rest of places, the Germans themselves bring this "Oh, but you see, its we who started the war..."
I saw a similarity between them and the Hindus who are being mocked on a daily basis for representing Hinduism / indian Culture.

ofcourse hitler is a taboo. What you are speaking about football, beer etc is at the surface level pop culture. There is a layer below that is the deep culture which has this sense of guilt, atleast as thats what I understood as I have involved in some serious conversation beyond beer, etc.

I have more or less similar exposure of yours and what I shared is my perspective. We cannot generalise "the whole Germany....". I shared what I have seen, and what I have interacted. This is true in my case. Francois Gautier has written about this in his article as well. He told the same thing as of mine.
May be this "people moved on" could be bit superficial and this ww2 reply is the similar kind of replies I get when I praise Germans for their system.

That is an amazingly refreshing discussion with two of the greatest minds in India today. Nonetheless, I would like to point to the fact that if we identify China as India's biggest threat with Pakistan's proxy jobs. We should not fall in a mere defensive and weak attitude again. Gen. Bakshi Ji rightly started by reminding us that big countries or empires, including China and India, are mostly weakened by domestic issues, inner problems. Thus, we should not wait longer to identify China's weaknesses within and press where it hurts. They have to understand that India is playing smart and proactive. Not just passive like in the past

A great conversation of superlative value which happens very rarely, only when two intellectuals with the passion of uplifting India, get together.
If Rajiv happens to read this comment, may I please submit that this conversation in English is not going to reach the masses because they may not get the true essence due to their limitation of understanding English.
Please consider getting this dubbed in Hindi or translated in Hindi so that more people in India are privy to what you have discussed here please.

Such a delight to watch Sir. You are doing a great service to nation and now I understand why I had no friends in school and who were responsible for it. In school my classmates always glorified the west- listening to their songs, trying to imitate their culture etc. But having learned the stories of India past from my grandmother I always stuck to my point that may be the West is great now but there is no reason to undermine India and its great and grand past. When I would talk of Pandit Nikhil Banerjee or Ustad Amir Khan they would laugh. I couldn't make them understand that India Classical music is the greatest gift to the world which brings us peace. All these useless conferences on peace or stability will actually not bring peace or anything but through music. I would also delve into other stories of the past and enjoy but none to share with. But this discussion was really excellent. Thanks that there are real intellectuals alive and not pseudo liberals.

We need to bring the Varna system, and make every Hindu take oath in the schools, colleges, politics, that "I am a brahmin - I'm the truth - I'm the knowledge, I am a Kshatriya - when I fight for the truth, I am a vaishya - when I work to gain the resources for keeping the former 2 qualities (brahmin and Kshtiya) strong, I am a Shudhra - when I work to achieve to make these things work - to achieve these things, I AM A HINDU". This is what will kill the caste system, we don't need to fight the force we just need a bigger force because the force we are fighting is shameless, it doesn't care about the truth. The caste system can't be killed it have to be the change, so when a brahmin or rajput or any upper-caste discriminates, the other person says I am the same, problem solved.
