May 4 2023: The views are so amazing. The water is amazing and think this is a part I look forward to the sheer enjoyment of taking a plunge. Enjoy the incredible journey, because we are through your eyes.
Norway hunt the Minke Whale, population is estimated to be over 761,000 in the Antarctic, 149,000 in North Atlantic waters, and about 25,000 in the Northwest Pacific ocean. Norway hunt about 500-1000 Minke Whale per year.
I know im behind on these vlogs, but I've lived in Bodø virtually my whole life, and your trip up through kystriksvegen really made me fall in love with my home again! Thanks for letting us join be a part of the journey🤩
Just would like to say I'm not a traveller and don't ever watch travel vlogs usually and I haven't stepped foot outside the UK since I was very very young. But it is inspiring watching you both and I'm enjoying watching your vlogs after I've been working all day! All the best guys 🚐
I came across your channel some days ago and i'm glad you're enjoying Norway. Funny thing, this video ends in Bodø, which is my birth town. And your Norway adventure started in Kristiansand coming off the ferry from Denmark. Kristiansand is where i currently live. 😊 I'd wish for your sake you'd had more time in Bodø, for many people it's just a gateway to Lofoten, but there are many things to see, in and outside Bodø as well. Saltstraumen is just one of them. Enjoy Lofoten, it's amazing. Due to work i visited Lofoten every month for 5 years and it's breathtaking whether it's the midnight sun in the summer or the winter storms in January. Have a safe trip.
Norway is beautiful. Best holiday I have had watching all your Vlogs without leaving the house. Safe journey and best of luck🍀 from Kilkenny Ireland 🇮🇪
Magnificent scenery, beautifully filmed. I can almost feel how fresh the air is! Great vlog guys. Iz you're definitely breaking bad with those moves! Can't wait to see your moon dance!! ;)
There's at least one company doing 'ocean rafting' with large RIBs in the Saltstraumen during high and low tide. Some might enjoy the experience... Bodø has a rather nice aircraft museum next to the airport(which is nearly in the middle of the city) They've got a Junkers 52 with floats, a Catalina flying boat, and even a U2 hanging from the ceiling... The Catalina is because the 330 squadron flew these from Iceland for a while during WWII before moving to Oban in Scotland and getting Short Sunderlands. The U2 is of course because the U2 used Norwegian bases during their round trips. Gary Powers was actually scheduled to land in Bodø on the trip he was shot down. General notice for anyone reading my ramblings... There are still many aircraft wrecks left up in the mountains and other inaccessible places. DO NOT attempt to 'get a little souvenir'. The wrecks are considered state property and historical. It really isn't worth ending up in the slammer for. And we don't do that silly 'bail thing' that the US does. 'Who's going to notice'? Dozens upon dozens of hikers, most of whom knows where the wrecks are and just happens to see someone getting too close for comfort. Like they say in the Blues Brothers movie, 'you can't outrun a Motorola'... or a Samsung... or Sony or iPhone.
So glad that I subscribed to your channel because the video is very calming and relaxing and I need to share this with people I know here so that way more people are aware of you
when you get to lofoten there is a beach close to a tunnel before you get to svolvær.. by the crossroad you can drive off to henningsvær.. oh.. and you should really drive to henningsvær.. its a really scenic place
What a super dip you two, would love to get a dip in there. What a road trip indeed,ye got in fantastic locations. Thank you for sharing, even the award winning toilet ha ha ha.
Had a day off work ill today and have watched at least 3 hours of your videos… I’ve a transporter myself and love van camping. Really looking forward to getting back out there. Great videos… well done 👍
I'll depart towards the same region you're at coming Thursday with the end destination Nordkapp. Lovely to see how beautiful it is over there, cannot wait to see it in person. Drive safe, enjoy the journey! 😊
Your vlog is getting better and better. Look forward to watching it each day and I think your giving a lot of people a lot of pleasure as well as having a lot of pleasure yourselves. You are lovely! Keep it going guys and safe travelling!😉 Barry in Birr
Enjoyable viewing again. Off for a couple of days in our camper so will catch up when I get back. Looks lovely but cold at times there, but every view is a million dollars. P.S. Amazing toilets!!
Brilliant videos keep them coming, your video was in my feed this morning so I am hooked and subscribed straight away get that 100k play button, best wishes and safe travels Chris UK :)
Hi, brand new subscriber here - loving the content, and your energy- you look like you are having a fantastic time! Keep it coming- Norway is stunning!
6:25 Hello, annoying translation bot here! Uredd more accurately translates to unafraid. Redd = afraid, uredd= ...yeah. Fearless would be fryktløs, a somewhat more intense emotion though they both are similar. Farthest north I've ever been was Bardufoss in my army days. We were playing markers for the armored batallion stationed there. That was in February, so... not quite as warm and scenic as your current trip for sure xD
Love viewing your adventures through Norway! Yes, whale meat is referred as "poor man's hamburger meat"! I lived in Norway, as an exchanged student. I had my share of the different "exotic foods", including their brown cheese. To this day, I can purchase Ski Queen brand brown cheese. It's an acquired taste, that I still love to have for breakfast! (posted from AR USA 🇺🇲)
Hi ! Great filming and amazing experience ! it's problably been asked before, but can't find it in the comments: what is that montain lake at 7:16 ? cheers !
Just watched the last 3 episodes back to back... Superb folks!! The place is stunning, and you capture it so well!!! Nothing beats the Irish tea bags Iz... Eeeyyooo 🇮🇪.. Can't believe the public toilets over there, put the rest of us to shame 😂 keep forgetting to mention too, the music recently in all the vlogs is really really good, enjoying that too.. Enjoying bloody everything 👏👏 chat later 👌👍
Everytime I hear anyone say Fjords I always have Michael Palin/John Cleese voice in my head saying 'Pining for the Fjords!' from Monty Python's Dead parrot sketch lol
I have liked your last 28 videos instead of posting something every day i am just going to post now and again as i likely say the same s#@t our there abouts.😂. It looks so beautiful. Its like something from.. Lord of the rings.. Was any of them movies filmed there.? Take care and be safe much love from Northern Ireland God bless ❤️ 💙 👍
Awesome trip you're on! I am going to Norway this summer as well and also in an autocamper, so I am ALL EARS AND EYES :-) Can I see the specific route you are travelling until now? It would be nice to use that as an inspiration for my own way to Lofoten etc :-) Have a nice trip!
It's a bit fun to see an toursits view of it's own country. Hope you enjoy Norway. I will actually go to Goodwood festival of speed late in June, so then I will be visting your country. However just by air travel and just for a week :-)

Don't know what happened to my previous comment with a Google Maps link, but just search for "Svartisen" in GM and you'll find it. If you'd like to approach from the same direction as in the video, just follow the road "rv17" :)
The scenery speaks alot for itself, but your videos are amazing! I love the footage, comments, and music. Elevating the experience for us as viewers. Oh, Im norwegian myself, but living in Oslo, these footages are still amazing! Sure makes me feel a bit ashamed for not exploring more at "home" :)

No er sirkelen på vei nordover. Men om du kan alt om soloppgang og solnedgang så skjønner jeg ikke hvorfor du spørr? Kun for å kunne korrigere folk?

Amazing trip, i hope next year i can go to norway and sweeden, that is in my bucket list for travel
It is midnight sun in Bodø from 7th of may until 13th of july. Bodø is quite far south, that's why it is not up for a long period.

so funny hearing you pronounce Bodø and Lofoten, Bodo and Looften :D
I can only apologise, hahaha
You are doing good. The funniest is "kystriksveien." Thats a tounge-twister for any non-native.
It's a bit fun to see an toursits view of it's own country. Hope you enjoy Norway.
I will actually go to Goodwood festival of speed late in June, so then I will be visting your country.

Velkommen til Norge. Ha en fortsatt fin tur og ferie! På vei sørover bør dere besøke Norges vakreste by; Ålesund.
By now you can probably take a dook in an ocean in winter and not feel too cold :D
So beautiful, amazing, lovely wonderful. Much Blessings to you. ✝Thanks for sharing, Lord-Jesus-Christ com
You need to hook up with LTVL...great show!

Arctic glacier water still warmer than in Ireland.
Gratitude
Amazing. Do you know the lake water temp you swam in?
No idea, but it was chilly, haha
Thanks guys.
Just wondering if the ferry systems are part of the road system or if there is a fee for each time used
Both

so many of these vlogs depend on the ladies karisma! this one is the same!
Was the water salty ? is that a stupid question?
You're brave! Was the water warmer than the sea off Ireland in mid winter?
Tom, I see the world's most expensive prescription sunglasses turned up!?
I’m actually just wearing Isabel’s sunglasses and contact lenses, haha. They are definitely comparable, both bloody freezing, haha
wild atlantic way or norway whats your favorite ? great vlog as always
*I know these places from Assassin's Creed: Valhalla!*
Bella vita.
Trying to figure out where that glacier is. Could you share a location or name?

Colder than Ireland's water?
I would prefer the whalemeat over the ships...
