Hi sorry but I think that the last graph is actually incorrect. How can y be greater or equal to 0 but be less then or equal to -3. The answer should be y is greater than or equal to -3 but less than or equal to 0
I wrote the inequality wrong and should flip the 0 and the -3 for it to be correct, in the inequality as well as the interval. Thanks for noticing and letting me know.
I really thought I was gonna fail online class. Thank you so much, you speak clearly and nicely. Although this is from 5 and 1/2 years ago, it’s the bestttttttt!!!!!!.
Hi Brian! Thanks for helping me but one question. If no point is indicated on the graph would you have to assume it would be a closed circle or a open circle? Same goes with the arrows. Are they open or closed?
I understand that open circle is ( ) and close circle is [ ],but when it comes to interpreting the graph. I get so confuse. I know Domain is horizonal axis and Range is the Vertical axis, but when it come looking at the graph. I get so confused on what is what. I hope this help me because I am working on my math homework and I don't understand shit.
Hi Sir sorry but I think that only the last graph is correct because the first three graphs are have alignments from (the first from -x & +x and the second on from +y and the third one from -x & +x) so it's impossible to get the infinity from the both the positive and the negative for each graph Sorry for saying that but that's something important to say.
Brian, don't take these positive comments as compliments. Sadly the bar is low for "good" math teachers. Please tell me how you could publish this video after rewatching it with so many mistakes. Slow down, write a script, and have someone check your videos. You're way too concerned about producing quantity over quality. Sad. The bad videos take away your credibility and ruined the credibility of all your videos.
you are right, I have built up my channel by making as many math videos as I possibly could, not concerned for making the best math tutorials. that was my approach in the beginning and I am shifting to trying to make better content. Only uploading once a week now.

Im 16 years old, junior year, lost asf and the only thing I can focus on is how this man looks like an older Zane Hijazi and I can not stop.
talia malinsky 😂🤣😂 the funny thing is that I think that he actually younger than Zane.
We’re in the same boat
@@jordanh4362 haha
The math videos from 6 years ago are still helping 😂
well i wouldn’t expect them not to😭
The math videos from 8 years ago are still helping 😂
okay but why has this man successfully helped me understand any topic i searches up-
Alexey Troi i-
@Alexey Troi lmao
@Alexey Troi hell no
Your an actual life saver my teacher is bad a teaching and this helps so much
Dude. Ur a freaking life saver.
happy to help
The best... you save my life prof... Best tutor..

nice video but I still wonder why math is so hard for me to understand, I just can't find the part of my brain that processes math ;/
same🧍♀️
@@jazellediaz4966 its ok guys, our time will come soon
omg thankyou so much!!! I literally always wondered when to use parentheses or a brackey I'm taking MAC 1105 Online.... AND YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!
I think I speak for all the online college students when I say THANK YOU!
This was so helpful!! You are a life saver
THANK YOUUUUU SMMMMM , please never stop making these videos because they are honestly so helpful , thank you again so much
you are best online math teacher
Thank you so much for this video! It was very helpful for my exam!
your awesome don't stop doing what you're doing EVER
Thank you my dude I needed this :D
You are very welcome
I wish you were my professor. You ROCK!!!:)))
Absolute life saver, thank you!
you are very welcome! happy to be there for you
Omg ...how interesting and captivating teaching sir...!🥰
@Alexey Troi there is nothing to get crash on a teacher..I just Love his teaching methods.
omg i have a math test tomorrow and this saved me tysm
MADE MY DAY
Please create a math book (s), you would help so many students!!
Thank you some much you just saved me
THIS HELPS thanks.
Hey Brian! There should be a bracket on the 0 for the first graph. The range is [0, infinity)
Just finished the video and saw you corrected it. :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, BECAUSE IM CRAMMING FOR A QUIZ LITERALLY TOMORROW AND THIS HELPED A L O T
Cheers Maya, Keep working hard :)
Thank you! I love watching your videos to study for tests! Very helpful.
Cheers Aubrey, Keep working hard
quality content thx sir!!
Thanks
I love your teaching! The example #3, should range 6 use" ]"?

hi is it really should be a parenthesis when writing the range in the parabola? like your first example. or when if the y is at the origin?
Hi Brian! Thanks for helping me but one question. If no point is indicated on the graph would you have to assume it would be a closed circle or a open circle? Same goes with the arrows. Are they open or closed?
There should always be a point unless it is continuous and connects back on the number line
i love you. so much.

would it make a difference if on the first graph the u was upside down for the domain?
more than my teach could do in a week!

I am not sure I understand your comment
@@brianmclogan I guess he actually meant that the last graph was incorrect.
can it be parallel in the ex2?
parallel?
thaaank u so muchhh
you are very welcome!
Shouldn't the last graph be (0,-3] because the line doesn't intersect 0? I thought brackets were only used when the line intersects 0.
it does intersect at 0 the range should be written as [0,-3] as I did make a mistake
it does intersect at 0 range [0,-3]
Oh okay, I get it now. I was thinking that the line has to literally intersect it.
You switched them around. I would write it as , R: {-3 ≤ y ≤ 0, y ЄR }
I wish you were my teacher.
2020 anyone?
What if the line does not have an arrow?
then it does not continue!
8:27 Terrible. Classically bad quality.
9:30 A great way to confuse students.
or understand the relationship between inequality notation and interval notation
range for the last graph is incorrect
Infinity can’t be equal with x. It is only bigger or smaller
I appreciate u
that moment when this video from four years ago makes more sense than my math teacher...
