Great DVD with excellent footage of the engines negotiating some tricky terrain on a glorious May day in Derbyshire.

Hi, glad you enjoyed it, if we could have been in three places at once we would have covered more of the engines on those difficult hills.Graham - Avalon Video

Been waiting for this DVD for a while , looks like the wait was worth it .
I've visited the web site but cannot find no listing for this or the South Cerney DVD from last year .

      Hello
The DVD is being duplicated right now, I would expect to have them back with us on Saturday or Monday. We will be getting the title onto our website for purchase on Monday. I am working on the South Cerney DVD at the moment, all of our projects were slowed down as we moved house from Northamptonshire to here in Gloucestershire in the Autumn and the house here needs a great deal of work! As we are also working on a number of other projects at the same time I expect to have the South Cerney DVD ready to go at the end of April.
      Thanks
      Graham

Glorious machines! Thank goodness we don't use them anymore; inefficient and filthy dirty.
Ironically, we still get much of our energy from steam. Nuclear and coal, natural gas/oil fired power plants use their fuel to make steam to spin a turbine that spins a generator shaft that makes most of our electricity.
Kudos to the men and woman, I saw her driving one of those tractors, who preserve these relics from the age of steam.
