How not to get an investor. Don’t let them get a word in, interrupt them mid-sentence and never shutting up.
I was really hoping someone would say "You won't let me speak, so I'm out".
@@michaelc2155 I'm surprised they didn't to be honest!
I’m
He went from kinda charming to annoying pretty quick.
😂😂😂
He was annoying me the minute he started speaking 😂
@@littlelizzi3135 innit he was speaking painfully slow
So odd not seeing Peter there.
For real, it was nice seeing Theo again though, but Peter Jones is the whole show.
I love his interactions with Deborah, I don’t care if another leaves but her and Peter is a must for me.
oh my this guy. I think he was expecting them to teach him from scratch. 3 years in business and hasnt even bothered to try to learn how to use Amazon. Perhaps once he learns he could have a small business but I didn't see the attraction myself. I also do not know of many schools that teach drums. A strange one to me and he was rather annoying. I can imagine him ringing his dragon every day and would drive them round the bend.
took me a while to realise both toukar and theo were there, kept thinking it was just one of them.
Toukar is like Theo after a stroke
@@BenjaminBarnes 😂😂😂😂
He should try selling to private music instructors who can actually afford it and would use it regularly. Schools are not going to pay £70 or over £100. Schools are regularly cutting music programmes due to budget.
Even if they had the budget, schools never train an entire class in something like drums. He doesn't know his market at all.
At least Deborah got a drum roll before saying “I’m out” 😂
Jenny somewhere woke up to that
@@chasetheidea 🤣 yeah fr
Making him do his own drum role was savage 😂
I’m 35 and a professionally trained drummer, and have been playing for 24 years now, and I still can’t for the life of me think of how that could be in any way useful 🤔
If I had shown that to any one of my teachers over the years they would have laughed at it and told me to control my hands by controlling my hands lol.
One would likely say in his deep Bulgarian accent - ‘HOW can you flam?? What is even the? -- no, I won’t 😑’ haha 😂
It's a completely useless contraption. Like learning to play the guitar playing Guitar Hero.
@@namnack Yep. Go play the drums if you want to learn play drums 🙄
@@jonnycollison ‘But dad’dy! I want to learn how to play inside the peggy box like the man on TV says I should!! 😤’
EXACTLY. You're 35. But for young people with NO experience these days, they NEED something to help them. Not everyone can go to a drum kit and start playing.
@@TheManInBlueFlames You’re not a good reader, are ya?
I mean you are absolutely 100%, unequivocally, undeniably and inarguably right, kids do NEEEEEEEEEEEEED something to be able to teach them how to play… and that’s where that part about me saying I was “professionally trained” comes into play lol.
An old family friend had a kit at his house, and when I was 8-9, I tried playing it for the first time and I guess I showed some promise, so rather than doing nothing because there simply just wasn’t any kind of stupass box with sticks in to prevent my hands from going ALL over the place apparently, they put their brains together and realized that getting me a music teacher would be the best way to go… then I went to school for it.
It’s almost like people have been becoming drummers for a really really long time without that flipping thing haha 😄
Think this is the only DD pitch clip I've seen where Peter Jones isn't present
If it had cost £25 to buy and £11 to make and he had concentrated on selling them online and had turned over £300,000, he would have had Dragons in the palm of his hand. Don't get how you can go and apply and be on these shows without your numbers behind you.
Dragons Den without Peter isn't Dragons Den for me
Because the shows are assembled from pitches made in a single block of the 4 blocks made once he couldn’t be there for a week he had to sit out 3 episodes. During a block all of the Dragons have to wear the same clothes and if they turn up unshaven at the beginning of a block they have to maintain that look for the rest of the block.
Which dragon replaced Peter on this?

Theo

Peter has left? :(
More likely to find Tony’s invention in woodwork class than music class 😢🍻
I think so.
Probably be more fun to make than to use😉
In the bin in woodwork class, maybe.
Tej plays that same drum beat every high school music student knows. He got excited to play an instrument he doesn't seem very proficient at lol
Lmao, exactly what I thought when he rushed up there and played that beat.
yeah, his eyes lit up when he seen the kit but then played what we called the training beat that all newbees played first.
He probably spends all his time in the board room
Come on guys, he’s been waiting for this moment 😅
The drums? I never played one in secondary school and i'm proficient in piano AND saxophone!
So this is what John Bonham would've needed. And can you imagine how good Cozy Powell would have been if only he had been trained with this?
First ever episode ive watched without the happy socks dude
“If his musical offering could be a *sound* investment.”
Get in the bin Evan…
jennys at home still saying im out
11:05. They were a couple of lethal slaps on himself... Wow!!
Someone tell me I wasn’t the only person who cringed this whole pitch
yeah the guy was really cringe, interrupting them all the time
entertaining pitch? ....would be a nightmare person to work with...!
The cheek of Deborah😂😂😂
They were so nice to him ..... I'm shocked, they should have given him a wake up call. He had nothing!
Just noticed Peter Jones wasn't in this series. Never even noticed before 🤣
same! i just thought he was being unusually quite today
he missed 3 episodes due to covid, so Theo signed up to the temp agency and stood in for him
@@ianlister7333 you mean the flu 🙄
@@asim9738 all I know is he had symptoms had to self isolate.
He was ill or something in the episode, so Theo took over!
Why does Evan insist on presenting the show from the bath?
Haha had the same thought. ^^
The product is real. The business is real. The price is way too insane. Get that down to 40 pounds (ideally less) and THEN you can get people to buy a learning aid like that.
nah, even then it's worthless. trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. the main thing you want from a practice pad is mobility.
@@danmauller9453 Yeah, if he invented some kind of fold out drum kit that fits in a case that's very close to the sound of drums there might be something there.
Yep, he also based his potential earnings on 16000 schools each buying 14 at £70 each lol
Peter was out quicker than Kelly Hoppen
Where is Peter???
No Peter?
where is peter jones??
I think this guy really needs Touker and his Chinese manufacturing contacts. *IF* a school even can afford to pay £125 for this, they will only buy one or two. He needs to get his manufacturing expenses down so that he can sell it for a more affordable price.
Where was Peter Jones?
Where's Peter....?
How anyone want to work a guy like that. He doesn’t shut up an jumps in while they’re all asking the questions
Where's Peter?
Drum kits are expensive. This is a good product to learn on
They're not though. You can get a beginner's acoustic drum kit for EXACTLY the same price
Whoa! Where's Peter?! 😱
Out sick for a few episodes
"I am out" Ba dum tss 🥁
Telling a muso to listen the whole time is madness or is it because he is a drummer.
I always wondered what Frank Skinner was up to these days....
No Peter no DD
Wow, this inventor is so annoying.
THEOOOOOO
Yooo
He’s lucky Peter isn’t there anymore
He has a hobby, not a business. Regardless of what drum enthusiast think
12:29
Nice try 🤣
@1:51 "tension is the enemy of movement". I totally agree with that statement, because delta 3d printers are a joke. Delta 3d printers use "binding force" to position the print head. It barely works, and is put to shame by a simple 3 axis 3d printer.
i need 50k but can't be bothered to wear a suit. not the same without Peter Jones
Jenny is always out 😂😂😂 right guys???? Right?
I honestly think this could lead somewhere if the brought the costs down. I could make this product for £10 without it going mass, its a wood block with some shoots coming out of it. You take that to china to manufacture in bulk and you will get it for £6 per product, you then sell it for £30 wholesale and it retails for £70. People would buy it, you get a great profit and so does the retailers. You then go to the education sector and sell it direct for £30 and you have a huge market. I think the idea is fantastic but the execution is poor
Am I the only one who finds it annoying that the title of the video makes no sense grammatically?
Ethereum
🤣🤣🤣
Looks like Barbara conference called to say that she's out...
Tej is better than him lol.
Maybe Peter would shook his head drummer
This invention is a garbage. Logic can tell you that you need to move drumstick not only up and down, but also sideways.
He's obnoxious... It was only "fun" for him.
Dude wants to just play music and thats it while everyone lese does the hardwork and takes the risk. If your in music - you know how to advertise yourself - its essential. Guy looking for an easy ride while just doing what he likes to do and at no risk.
