@@BLOODKINGbro If you mean when Matt mentioned it, I dunno, go back and look. I think the closest spot the coaster passed was too far away from the doors, and he'd just have gotten hit towards them and bounced off the outside.
I feel like the new office is just making everyone feel so refreshed and optimistic. There's a new sense of excitement with the crew while also going back to the classics. I hope this carries them into the future.
This this and this. I honestly fell off AH somewhat since the pandemic, and I think the change in energy was part of it, but things definitely feel more normal now.
I loved all the drama surrounding coins in this game, especially that post gold finish. Michael's face was amazing! Would be cool if they did challenges in this like must use jet pack only (and there's nothing but traps aimed at them) or some customs levels again like that teleporter room!
More Chicky Doo so soon! We truly are blessed. I love how you can see the golf course level in the background of this new one and the hippo is so cute, what a great update!
Last time on Ultimate Chicken Horse Michael: "It would be really great if they made some more updates for this game, it's amazing!" The Devs: (while watching the vid) "Hey look they are back in their offices, think it's about time we release that new update?"
Myatt: how does he keep winning? Also Myatt: *puts coin at end of level he hasnt come close to finishing* *Michael wins with coin* Myatt: that coin was for me. Dammit
The only thing I don't like about this kind of setup is the voice audio. There's just something more "listenable" about having each person on their own mic.
Roosterteeth should be able to find one of those kiddie ferris wheels for the office, it's pretty close to a Reznor. Also this video has and angry, little elephant shaped hole in it.
It has something to do with Mario I think. They've explained it in the past (no clue what video cuz I have awful memory. I think it was either an Off Topic or another Chicky Doo). Doesn't stop me from associating it with Nine Inch Nails every single time.
Reznor is the name of the fortress boss in Super Mario World. It's four dinos on a similar rotating platform, you defeat it by hitting the underside of each platform. Gavin immediately made the connection in some early Chicken Horse video, and they've all called it that since.
I feel like if there's a person who's become the ULTIMATE WINNER of the particular episode, they should be barred from the next episode. Just to let other people win from time to time. For fairness.
I ONLY know this game from watching you guys play it, and I guarantee the ice-head thing is intentional. For one, there didn't use to be ice-head, and having a vague idea about game development, I think it's unlikely a change like that could just crop up unintentionally. Second reason is it honestly makes sense, to me at least. The whole thing is building a platformer level, and being able to jump on each other's heads reduces how much you need to use the stuff they give you.
But being the ONLY character with that feature causes a confusion from regular collision and gameplay. So, I think it's understandable why they're so confused. Edit: Just learned it was all players, so I now retract my statement.
Weird accidental changes find their way into games all the time. A weird glitch can get in when something completely supposedly unrelated gets removed or added. It's the reason why many games hide unused objects out of bounds. For some weird reason, if some random box is removed from a level, the enemies stop working for no apparent reason. A weird example was recently mentioned about Skyrim a few weeks ago, where the addition of bees for some reason obliterated the opening scene of the game.
@@prowler6435 I get what you're saying, but I think why I'm leaning towards this being less likely accidental is because Ultimate Chicken Horse is a much simpler game than the infamously buggy Skyrim you used as the comparison :P And just in general the later into a game's post-release life, the more polished it obviously becomes, and the less likely for major bugs, in my experience. TL;DR Chickey-doo has been out on full release for awhile and is a relatively simple game mechanically, so I still think it's less prone to major bugs.
@@ryleighs9575 I know you're speaking in generalizations, but coding is hard, and how prevalent bugs are depends on so many factors. Skyrim is a huge game compared to Chicken Horse, sure, but there are other things that matter. A huge game could be made by a team that strictly adheres to a plethora of good coding standards, and ends up free of major bugs. A simple indie game could have been started by one guy who didn't really give a shit about how clean or documented his code was cause it was just him, and the three other people he hired when the game got bigger are all clashing around the codebase, and so you've got a buggy mess. Even if you have a relatively bug free game though, code can have *a lot* of dependencies, so very strange bugs can appear from the tiniest of changes in any software. There really aren't exceptions to that. Assuming whether it's a bug or feature based on the "complexity" of the game can work, but isn't a great way to do it, especially if you don't know much or anything about coding. There are lots of things people assume are easy to program but are actually really hard. With this specific example, I'm honestly not sure. It makes sense as a feature, but I can definitely see it as a bug too.
I feel like any skill they once had at this game has atrophied because they are so obsessed with making the level hard. They make it that they die so often and move so little that they don't get any practice with the controls on difficult but doable levels. The game has bombs so you can remove obstacles that you personally struggle with, almost never using them breaks how the game is supposed to flow. That first round they spent most of their time in the first quarter of the level. Not saying these videos aren't still a lot of fun, I just miss the days when there were more skilled plays to enjoy rather than just meat-grinders and banter.
@LetsPlay you are missing the real fun of this level... you should not be pushing the characters away from the Roller Coaster... you should be blocking any other may except passing right next to it!
They should add one-time use weapons in the box. You place a bat somewhere in the level, and if you get it, you can hit another character one time. Or a bow and arrow. Or gun.
I find these episodes a lot more annoying when literally nobody can finish the course and they just keep making it harder. Idk. Makes it more boring to watch for me personally.
I like that this map is the roller coaster in the back of the golf map.
At 2030 Michael could have used it through the door with the dance invincibility
@@BLOODKINGbro If you mean when Matt mentioned it, I dunno, go back and look. I think the closest spot the coaster passed was too far away from the doors, and he'd just have gotten hit towards them and bounced off the outside.
That's very observant lol, I would not have noticed if you didn't mention it
47:39 Gavin has his patented "wtf is wrong with you" moment. He only has himself to blame for not winning immediately right there on that turn.
He makes it so hard to be a Gavin fan

Yesss I agree!! I’ve noticed it in all newer videos, they sound so excited

Gav: I can't bunce you without getting close!

Haha 26:12 the sequence of noises from Gavin was just perfect :)
The temple round was a game in itself.. what a glorious round!

Gavin: you can"t.

I like how the new map has the pyramid and sphinx in the background.
52:27 Make it happen devs! 😆
In which everyone is so concerned about fucking each other over, they can't beat the level after round 3.
Oh nice there’s a new update! This game is so fantastic
Trevor is now officially the Tre-ceratops.
They're never gonna play this level again, aren't they.
As expected the hippos alt to be either a cappy barra or a rino not a trike
Chicky Doo isn’t going away anytime soon! It just keeps getting crazier and cooler!
It was like Michael stole everyone’s brains
I was beyond excited to not see Ky in this.
18:58 shows how bonded they are 😂. Jeremy may have mostly replaced Gavin in vids but...
#TeamNiceDynamyteForever
Can't wait for the Chickey Doo 100th episode special
chicky doo movie
They should do Chicky Doo Immersion.. samehow :D
Now this is definitely a good update
Ive watched all of these. Im so excited there is a Hippo now, thats my favorite animal!

My group's system is that whenever you win a round, you get a 20% handicap; whenever you lose a round, your handicap recovers by 10%
Please Devs add a bear!
I think Michael is holding back because of how many times he won to give the others a chance.
You needed the coaster the other direction for a post mortem
This game really loves Michael
Omg I love playing as the new characters
If you cant see where the map is
Then move the right joystick the direction you want to see

They wont . As there are stats for each character
Chicky Doo Revival Poggers
the triceratops isn't balanced, but collision itself is unbalanced, so it all works out
